Had our 11 year old sons birthday party at Zone 28 tonight and we had an absolute BLAST! I can not stress to you enough how amazing Miss Donna H is. She was our hostess and she was incredible!!! She went above and beyond to make sure that Geno and his friends had an amazing time and I didn’t have to do ANYTHING. Easiest party ever! I was crying about something and she gave me a hug!! Just when I really needed it. AWESOME! Wish we knew about this place when our older son was younger! HIGHLY recommended. We all got to play laser tag and felt like little kids again! Even the grandparents!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Looks can be very deceiving, especially in the Bowling area. It all looks very nice, until you get up there and look around. Its not very clean, the floor before the approaches was dirty, stuff all over the floors. And no it would not be from the previous people that were there just before us, as we were the first group there for the day since we got there shortly after they opened up for the day.If you actually know how to bowl, and slide when bowling, you can forget about it, the approaches are filthy and sticky, there is absolutely no sliding happening there, I fell flat on my face on my first turn, tried a few test slides before my next ball and it just was not going to happen, so I had to just stand there and throw my ball. The person next to us asked me about the approaches and had the same thoughts that they were horrible, and 3 lanes away from us a guy that looked to be in his 60s fell due to the same problem, and was down for a while, even though he seemed to be OK, this place really needs to maintain their lanes better, it has to be a huge liability for them for not maintaining them.When we were done and I took my shoes off, there was so much debris (crumbs) on the soles of my shoes, who knows if it was from the floors, or from the approaches, my guess is it is from both. I doubt I would ever come back here for bowling, I dont want to hurt myself.After bowling, we went over to the arcade area, it appeared very nice also, and was huge with a very nice assortment of games for the kids to play.Some of the people in our group did order food, I am guessing it was good as I did not hear any complaints about it, I didnt personally order anything so I cannot make a comment on it.

We went for the first time yesterday and we will be coming back! It was a very clean place! Staff was so nice. We had an issue with 2 different games that were easily fixed by the staff, but they gave us $25 in cards just to be nice for the inconvenience. It was so nice of them to do that even though we werent bothered by it, they still did that for me and my husband. ALL the staff there was curteous and friendly. We ordered food and was able to eat at the table in the bowling alley. Food was very good!! Adults can order drinks as well. I asked for something with blue liquor, and the nice man there suggested the fish bowl drink, it was so good and actually looked like a fish bowl. Alleys were clean and very well kept. We enjoyed ourselves so much!!! We will be going back!!!

I love this place. We always have such a great time. The food is Excellent.

Bowling was okay but restaurant food was grossly undercooked and servers were overworked. Took forever to get someone to take our order and then one of our drinks never made it. Celery was old, cheese to dip platter food was cold and had layers of cheese crusted over. Chicken fingers were hard, potato skins stale. BBQ chicken pizza was not fully cooked as cheese wasnt even melted and the sauce was nasty.$3 for a soda with no refill? Watered down as well. The tables were filthy.Parmesan chicken wings and the fish and chips were the only good items that we tried. Will never dine here again.

My family had a wonderful time. The staff was excellent in every way. Food was brought right to our bowling lane and was prepared very well. We went there on a Wednesday in the early afternoon so it was not very busy. Very good experience.

This is one of the best places to book a private party which we did for my son who just turned 16. The hostess Donna was amazing and showed alot of patience with all the orders. The food was also amazing and we were not rushed out the venue once the party ended which was the same day as the Steeler vs Dallas game. The management staff were also amazing and helped out when needed delivering drinks and food. I wont hesitate to have another party there. Thanks alot ladies your GREAT SERVICE was well appreciated

Very good food and plenty of it! The waitress took very good care of us. There are also all kinds of video canes and pool and bowling! All sorts of things to keep the entire family happy! The games are in a separate section from the restaurant so you don’t hear much of the noise. We really enjoyed the food and would stop again when we are in the area.Recommended!

Great bowling alley for groups. We had a big work team outing 30ish people and it was really nice. We didnt check out the arcade but it seemed nice. The Tesla chargers were awesome

The outdoor patio is fantastic and now that Allegheny county has gone to green Im sure the business is going to pick up. A decent beer selection decent food happy hours excellent.

We bowled for 2 hours with 10 people in 2 lanes for $81.00. That is such a deal. They were so accommodating to our younger 1st time bowlers. Great place for fun.

We tried to do an hour of bowling but the pins took five minutes every time to reset. Then it get resetting the pins no matter how many were knocked down. In the end it took the 20 plus minutes to fix and they only gave 7 minutes back. Would not recommend.

Our company had 25 lanes booked for two hours. Ive never been to a place like this and was hesitant to go to an after hours event.I had an absolute blast. We put up the bumpers and socialized with coworkers. The atmosphere was lively and the convenience of the bar adjacent to the lanes makes it easy to refill between bowling turns.I told the event coordinator that we need to book this location again. I suck at bowling and still had a great experience.The food was delicious. The salads were better than your typical iceberg buffet and the pizza was definitely worth coming for.

Bowling is nice, but pricey. Eat before you go, food is expensive, service is terrible. No napkins, no condiments, even after they were requested by all four patrons. Somewhere between the server and the kitchen they messed up my wifes entire order. Would not recommend unless youre looking to just bowl and drink.

Prices are way too high I understand that prices have to be raised a little due to coronavirus but the prices dont match and they used to be justified as a local it is disappointing to see them go this way.

Great bar, even during COVID

I have been here at least twice. Heres the pros and cons of this place. Its not a bad facility, but I totally prefer Scene 75 over this place.Pros - they recently renovated the place and now it has a new and sharp look to the facility. Theres two restaurants (one of them with an ourdoor bar and mini bowling). Theres a legit arcade area now, a private bowling area if you want to reserve for your own party, laser tag and escape room. They offer a $20 deal - where you get an hour bowling, $20 in arcade credit, and one session of laser tag.Cons - due to the renovations and adding more attractions to the facility, there are less bowling lanes and space, and felt pretty cramped. My group of friends reserved two lanes and I felt pretty claustrophobic with other people so close to us bowling. Also, we definitely didnt get an hour of bowling, more like 45 minutes. They started the countdown immediately when we purchased the lane and it took 15 minutes for everone to get shoes and set up the lane for bowling. Lastly, the food was just ok, not the best, I expected better. For instance, the pretzel stick that I ordered was bland and the beer cheese that came with it was too hard, couldnt really dip the pretzel sticks in. The burger was alright, the fries were a bit cold but just alright.

This place was pretty cool I spent most of my time drinking and eating, cause I had came alone. But it would be a great place to come with family or a group of friends. I would def come back thats for sure. The food is really good. Drinks are crazily overpriced but Im use to that just about anywhere.

I took my daughter bowling tonight. We bought an hour. There were only two of us so we got three games in. At the end of the hour, the game shut off. We were in the tenth frame. We got no credit for the 7 minutes mid game when the lane broke and they had to go in the back to repair. But that is all fine I guess. It is a bowling alley. The part that annoyed me though was after I went up to ask why the screens shut off and was told my hour was over, I turned around and a strange family was asking my daughter to leave the lane. Zone 28 sold our lane to another group in a matter of 3 minutes. I left frustrated and unhappy with the experience. Good luck, not heading back any time soon.

Clean and fun place! Out door bar area was a nice option

This is without a doubt one of the most over priced places of its kind that I ever been too. The bowling and games are simply too expensive for a typical family. The pizza at the party my kid attended was not very good either. Outside there were far too many people smoking out on the sidewalk to the point you had to walk out on the parking lot to get around them. There also should be signs up pointing to the exit off guys run rd. Turning north onto Freeport rd. from the other exit is very difficult. Trying to get a drink here is tough, easier just to bring a bottle of water in with you. On the positive side, place was big and it seemed to be pretty clean also.

Great venue yet too many young people and not enough security to locate guns

If you just want to have fun with your kids or have fun with your friends this is the best place to do it

My sister threw a birthday party here for my neice who turned 11. Her friends had a blast & so did the parents. I loved the bumper cars! They were awesome! Obviously later tag was a thrill. We had such a good time at that party. I will definitely keep it in consideration for when my son gets older!

We stopped at the rail house, stood there for 5+ minutes, not a sign of anyone working there. The other patrons were even looking that were eating for the workers. We walked out and moved on to another place to eat.

The place is fun. Pizza is good. Kids had a blast. However, we didnt realize we were paying by the hour and 5 games of bowling cost us 70 dollars...

Came for the After Dark bowling. The website said 11pm - 2am. We got here about 10:50 pm. We were told it is already a half hour wait. It is now 11:15pm and they are telling people its a hour long wait. So please someone tell me what 11 pm - 2 am means? I will not be coming back here. We would have been better off going to North Versailles bowling alley!!!!!

Good place for entertainment

If you love bowling, dont go there. if want family fun activities, be prepared to spend alittle. it can be too much if you want a nice, simple, get together with friends (if your a single adult like myself). but parents and kids will love it (lots of bells and whistles to keep you busy)..all n all, its not a bad place..as long as you got money to spend.

We had a lot of fun for a childs birthday party. The only downside is the party rooms are along the left hand and back walls out of view from watching the kids have fun bowling. They recently remodeled and did a nice job. Just wish the party rooms had better access to watch kids bowl.

Love how u can have a tab everywhere! Fun place. They do rush u for bday parties. Not enough time for bowling cake/gifts and laser tag. Felt very rushed.

It was fun although I didnt bowl. My friends and daughter had a great time bowling. Food was good also.

We go here some what often. They have great pizza and its a good time. My complaint here is that when its crowded they seem more interested in funneling new business in and the customer service goes way down hill.

As someone who loves Dave & Busters this place is also pretty great! There are less games than D&Bs but some of the games are a lot cheaper. They also have laser tag, bowling, and an escape room. The prizes are cute and dont cost a lot of tickets. The service was my only issue as it took 30 mins to get a drink at the bar. It kind of seemed like the waiters and waitresses were short-staffed or something.

I had a group event there and it was great. They had a great price on food and events. I highly recommend.

Great place for kids. The bowling lanes are creative and entertaining and if you somehow get bored of that the attached arcade is great. A bit pricey but good for a special occasion.

Had to order from the bar because the majority of the waitstaff called in sick. The guacamole left a lot to be desires but the pizza was better than expected for a bowling alley. The bathrooms were filthy and smelled horrible. The bar staff was quick and polite.

The bowling is just what you expect from bowling. The difference is in the food there. The food is a bit sub-par. We also went to order drinks from the bar and as I stood at the bar with credit card in hand it was a minimum of 10 minutes to 15 minutes before I was helped. When I finally was helped I told the bartender lady that I watched her help every person that walked up to the bar even after she looked at me. The bartender then told me they were busy and never apologized to me. I then told yes it was busy but I was empty handed with a card in hand and she looked at me and the other bartender looked at me also and never asked me what I wanted.The bowling was fine but you only get an hour. I suggest getting drinks and food before you start bowling.

Place was great. Staff was polite and attentive.I only went there on a company team night under the promise of prepaid bowling. Walked in, found my coworkers at the bar.Made some small talk, had 3 beers from their pitcher, thinking well be there for a while. Just as Im finishing the third (maybe an hour and a half into my visit, everyone decides they want to leave. No bowling was had. I was buzzed, broke, and it was late. I had to sleep in the backseat of my car in the parking lot until I was absolutely positive I had sobered up.Mediocre experience overall, but to no fault of the establishment.

I really miss Fun Fest but the updates to bring it into being Zone 28 are solid. The new card system for games is extra nice because I live close enough that I can take my kids for an hour to play in the arcade and we can just save up to get a bigger prize. The food is pretty good and I like all the spaces theyve made for eating and drinking, especially outside. The only downside is the prices have quietly crept up but thats also expected with the amount of renovations that have been put into a place that could have easily gone the way of the Ches-A-Rena.

Great time for the whole family. We bowled and had a pile of drinks, appetizers, and pizza. The loaded fries are amazing. Kids of all ages had a blast and so did the adults (bowling skills aside). Definitely want to go back and check out the private bowling section.

Zone 28 was a blast for our 20/30 Somethings group from church. I was skeptical that it would be too young for us but it was great. The bowling was fun, pizza was great and our highlight was laser tag, we definitely could of played another game or two. Thanks so much!

Im an out of towner a co-worker and I stopped in to watch Monday night football... which happened to be our home team. We both had a great time, Megan was our bartender, she was very attentive, we didnt have to wait long for a drink, she took good care of us. I will absolutely recommend zone 28 to friends and co-workers.

My family had a lot of fun here. All three of us had fun playing the game here. Definitely see us coming here often specially when my 3.5 year old gets older.We did go on a weekend so it was crowded but we figured it would be crowded. May need to try during the week when it might not as busy.

It was super fun. Bowling was affordable and the game prices were in league with places such as Dave & Busters. The drinks were a little over priced, but the bartenders also were a little heavy handed so it evened out. I would definitely return whether it was with friends (such as my photo) or with family. Great way to spend a day.

Ok place went to a birthday party and the party help well was not really any help. My sister and her husband handed out all the food and cake and my wife and I cleaned up. Great gaming area though!!!

I love this place! The music is always great and the place is always lit with good vibes. The prices are a little high but the food is amazing! The staff are friendly and attentive. The laser tag was also super fun! The music is also great and the music video to every song is displayed at the end of your bowling lane. The neon lights are a cool vibe as well. This is a great place to enjoy a night out with some friends or family.

I went through the escape room with a group of friends, and we had a blast. The girl manning the station was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely try it again if the themes change. If you get the chance, try it out. I think a group of 8 or 10 was about $200, which was reasonable. Definitely cool

This is such a fun family center. From arcade games to bowling you get lots of entertainment. I loved how it had extra large tv screens above the alleys. The played music videos as you bowled. Once the Steelers football game came on they switched over so the guest could watch as you bowled. I loved that they had different games you could choose from instead of regular bowling. We played all that they had to offer. I only gave it four stars because I think the pricing is not fair. You pay 40$ an hour per lane including shoes. This price does not matter if it is only 2 or 6 people. Thats the only thing I did not care for. Other then that I loved it.

We went late one night and the service was good. The team tried to get us to started as quickly as possible even though the register was giving trouble. The lanes are new and the display modern with great music creating a great vibe.

This place was really nice. There is so much to do here with all different age family members. The food is great and the prices for everything is very reasonable. I highly recommend a visit. I was there on a Saturday and it wasnt as crowded as I thought it would be.

The bowling section has some awesome games while bowling. Loved it! The arcade was lacking a little and quite a few of the games were out of order. The food was as expected. All around a great and fun experience I will do again.

My company had an outing at the facility and the customer service was amazing! The food was awesome, the Escape rooms were great, and we had an overall blast! I would recommend this place to anyone or any company.

I have been here for a networking meeting at lunch and several after-hours business events. It is a great place to have casual or professional meetings, hang out with friends or bring the family. The beer park has great outdoor atmosphere and fun games as well. The entire place is fun and entertaining, they have something for everyone. Bowling, video games escape room, bean bag toss, bocci. Check this place out.

I booked to have a Christmas party at zone 28 and the staff made it extremely easy. they made the process very easy we got a fantastic deal and we are looking forward to having a great Christmas party there.the food there is absolutely excellent and we are very happy to be able to have our employees there for a holiday party.

The bowling was really fun. We had four people together paying for the lane, so that brought it to about $6.75 a person. It was great for the first game. My gripe is that instead of maybe charging us a bit more to finish up our second game, which we were in the eighth frame for, they cut the game off and just said OH ITS OVER! Overall it killed the experience after that. Though the arcade was fun, and if I got even better at Crossy Road they better watch out haha.

Great games and bowling. But horrible service. 40mins to get a drink, I orders the Peach Long Island but got a peach ringer, recived the wrong drink and they insisted it did not have coconut oil even though 99% any type of gummie candy has coconut oil. If I drank or ate it I would of had to go to the hospital. Then we got a lady in a green shirt and she said we had to talk to the lane server it took us 40mins to get a drink so were we suppose to wait that long to get the drink fixed. Horrible service great games.

Friendly staff. Just added a new outside area that is fun and relaxing, depending your mood. Half off arcade games on Wednesday always makes for a good night. Drinks and food always tasty.

Pretty decent price for a fun time and theres a lot to do. The bar was a little slow though and I think they could have used more help for a Saturday. Also, there was no one at the laser tag counter and we had to get someone there to let us play.

Overall it is not bad.We booked the whole suite for about 50 people. The suite has 8 lanes and an independent bar which is great. However, we then found that 8 lanes were not enough and they did not provide bowling shoes for people in the suite. The game price in the lounge is also too high and I personally did not find any interesting games there. Car racing games are old and basically all other games, such as basketball shooting, fps, skee ball, and etc, end in 2 minutes, making them just not worth the price.The escape room is a must try. We played the room 113 whose difficulty is moderate and its setting is kind of scary which is my favorite. 45 minutes is a short time but you should be able to make it.Glad to have a place to spend my night in pittsburgh.

We bowled as a family and had a great time. Enjoyed the music with videos and afterwards spent 2 hours in the arcade.
