Unique small museum located in an old storefront near the Childrens Hospital. Exhibits explain and show examples of how humans have changed nature. Would recommend if you have a few minutes free on a Sunday. Friendly staff on hand to answer questions. Tour is self guided. Only issue some of the exhibits were not functioning either light was out or recorded voice option was not functioning.

Really well designed, the entire museum is just a very interesting and enjoyable use of the space. I cant say I was particularly interested in this topic before visiting, but I still really enjoyed all the exhibits!

This is an odd little spot and full of some really neat stuff. The exhibits are small so it takes some effort to stay on task and see everything, but the audio guides are definitely nice.

A weird little museum about how we (mostly scientists) have influenced the world around us. Primarily about genetic engineering. Neat stuff!

Small museum, very well done, and friendly owners to explain! Exhibits present facts, not opinions, allowing you to educate yourself on mankinds impact on the natural world.

This place is amazing.. Its a must see for yourself type of experience.

This is a very small but super-informative museum chock-full of extremely interesting exhibits. A self-guided experience, it addresses, without judgement, how humans have changed the natural order and development other living things throughout (mostly modern) history. You can enjoy this place whether you spend a little or a lot of time here. About 1/4 of the exhibits are best viewed with (provided) 3D glasses. Entry is free but donations are welcome. It is only open on Sunday afternoons and the first Friday of each month, but one of the curators is usually at the entrance to greet you and answer any questions.

This is a really interesting place to visit. There are a couple rooms, but the exhibits will keep you fascinated for an hour or perhaps two. Small children will need constant supervision, but my second grader had a blast! The curator was there and he was super pleasant to speak with about the items on display.

A really excellent little 30-minute museum to feed your inner biology nerd or just make you wonder at how we have worked to re-shape nature through breeding and biology to fit our needs. Theres a rush of exploration as you examine how selective breeding has completely altered dog skeletons over the centuries, a chill as you read about a ferret flu strain that could have killed millions if it had escapes. A laugh as you read about people trying to make spider silk from goats... And silk worms... And dozen other critters... What Im saying is I really needed out hardcore here. Make sure to ask the owner any questions you have--it was well worth it when I did. Also, this place is free. You can make it all the way through in 30 - 60 minutes, so a good idea is to stop here while doing the Unblurred monthly gallery crawl.

Cool weird science!

Certainly one of the quirkiest and thought-provoking museums in the city. A worthwhile visit, especially during one of Garfields First Friday events.

Very disappointing. Its a single room and most of the exhibits are this weird thing where you pick up a phone and it talks to you. Very odd.
