Hatch Art Studio

Gorgeous studio for kids with so many offerings. Ive had mine there for classes, events and open studio. The space is bright, beautiful and perfect for children (and adults). The teachers have all been wonderful nothing but good thoughts of Hatch!

Hatch studio is so much fun! I loved the space, our instructor was amazing and super positive and encouraging. The activities are always changing so the kids are engaged and learning every time. We loved exploring different media and were inspired by animal tracks, insect art, collaborative art such as group painting a thirty inch globe paper lantern. We love the variety of art centers that allow kids to move from one space and one idea to another. Such an inspred studio!

So much fun! Plenty of stuff to do, loosely directed activities that can be finished during the class. Very friendly staff and fun art supplies to purchase (same stuff they use in class). Plus they have drop in studio and summer camps and birthday parties!

Shannon and the whole Hatch team do some absolutely amazing work. They consistently wow me with their creativity. I would highly recommend.

This place is amazing for small kids, they are given so much freedom and autonomy to be inspired by and use anything that strikes them and it is a complete joy to watch. Shannon has created a magical space!

EVERYONE on here has posted 5 stars. So I reached out to see about having a small party for my granddaughter. Without asking what day, time or how much I was willing to spend the person emailed saying it didnt look like I wanted a bday party and they have limited days or weekends to rent out. And they suggest a time for my party to come while others will be there and we cant have food! So I took that to mean they didnt want my business! So I will give MY business to someone who wants and deserves it!

This is one of my favorite creative spaces in Pittsburgh. It’s the best place to introduce your kids to art, and reconnect with the creative self you left in childhood!

This place was so cute and quaint. On a quiet street in shadyside. We went for a birthday party for kids. Very fun!

This art studio offers classes, camps and parties for all ages- toddlers to adults. The staff have creative projects for themed birthday parties and are friendly leaders of large groups of kids. The art your kid brings home is something they can be proud of!
