The arena was nice. Also the referee spencer was cool. Only bad thing was that my rental gun shot a little weird and then the front fell out. Also on weekdays there might not be as much people, but that’s not the fields fault. Other than that everything was great
It was fun to play here, but the problem Is that people should be able to bring their own ammunition instead of using the the ones they give you at the counter Because not all guns will runoff of the same .20 that they offered. My gun kept jamming cause of the .20 and it works best with .25. And then you can’t even use the ammunition you buy at the pro shop that’s right there a few feet from the counter you can literally see the ammunition people Why are there so it should be good to use this is not paint ball. Ammunition cannot be altered in anyway it’s plastic pellets. I have been to some of the best airsoft parks across the globe and nobody else has this rule because not all guns are the same and for some reason they only give people a small bag of 1000 rounds which will not help for pro players because people carry multiple mags not just one, if you are going to do the at least make it to where you have a large can of 5,000 for $10. For pro players like me it would not be a great place to practice or play here but if you just there to shoot at people and friends then it is the best place.
I love it. It was a great arena and good guns for rental. Plus the games for the arena were fun too highly recommend
The best indoor Airsoft field in Phoenix I would highly recommend this place
This location is literally SO much better than the Gilbert locaton. The other players are actually older and call their hits. The staff is chill and understands how the game works. I had to sit out a game at the Gilbert location simply because I raised my voice at someone who wasnt calling their hits. From 100 feet away. Last time I checked if you are trying to communicate with someone far away you do this thing called yelling. At the Gilbert location if you yell at someone far away its considered being aggressive. Anyways none of that bull happens at the Phoenix location, is someone isnt calling their hits the refs actually take care of it instead of treating you and the other player like a 2 year old. Will definitely be making the 30 minute drive to the Phoenix location. Gilbert location is slowly turning into a preteen daycare center staffed by 17 year olds refs on a power trip. Im fed up with the way the Gilbert location is ran. If the owner of the Gilbert (original) location is reading this, seriously tell your refs and staff to chill out. You will keep customers and attract more players that actually care about the game instead of little 13 year olds. Tell your refs to treat players like human beings and not five year olds.To the staff of the Phoenix location, keep doing what youre doing and youll always have my money. There is an astronomical difference in atmosphere between the two its almost funny.
Took my son (12) and his friends for a birthday party. Everyone had a great time. It was Saturday 10-2 session, which was a bit crowded but to be expected. Everything went smoothly and kids had a great time! Refs were lax on those using fully automatic guns, but overall great time!
Played my first game of airsoft here and I loved it. I highly recommend you go here
Emilee the owner was rude and unprofessional to me. Her behavior caused my son heartache, and she unpredictably lashed out in anger at me. I would not recommend this place. Probably ok for adults that just want to play airsoft but she clearly has no heart for kids or ability to deal with the public, at least in my experience with her.
Awesome people Awesome experience! If your new to airsoft its gonna be tricky because lots of hard-core players come here, and they usually play by the rules so its ok
First time I’ve ever done airsoft and all I can say was it was an ungodly amount of fun lol
Ive been airsofting for 10 years. Love the field layout so highly recommend the field to players who own their own gear.Saftey is top notch and feel staging and parking lot is very safe. (A few players walked in without gun bags.)Rental equipment has serious issues. My group exchanged 5 guns that didnt function properly.Barrel fell off, motors locked up, hop up was so incredibly off I was shooting sideways...
I have a question do you sell air soft gun batteries because one of mine didn’t come with one
I went there and it was fun but I was wondering what is the FPS limit?
Me and my boyfriend wanted to try a new hobby and decided to try this place. Bought all of our equipment here and tried this place a few times. It is so much fun! The players have all been friendly, staff is super nice and professional, and the price is great! Highly recommend this place as we will be regulars here from now on!
Place has better refs great tech good hpa locks watching though a bit pricey but it’s gotten better
I love the place and it is great overall but, theres a lot of cheaters there but that isnt the places falt, and the referee catch the cheaters really fast when they get reported. To add on they have a nice pro shop.
It was awesome five stars complete but do you guys fix guns I got one that need a check
Love this place and I play here every Saturday
Great place to go and decompress for a day and have fun. I have gotten friends into the sport by taking them here for their first time playing. I have been going to VIPs arenas for years and I know Brian (Owner) and other staff very well, they always treat me like family when I come in. I always see Tom and Case helping new players out. Also, Ben and Logan do great tech work, they are two of the only people I let work on my rifles.Awesome culture and professionalism by all of the staff and players. When I decide to go air soft, I always give my business to VIP.
This place is so fun and well built The players are nice and the refs do their job if someone is messing around overall fun place to go and play
This place is pretty fun, me and my cousins had a blast at this place, but the rental guns are pretty trash, the bbs are not even capable of making it to the other side of the field.
The kids had a blast today. Four hours of fun to be exact. They didn’t know where they were going. Just told them how to dress and get in the car. They were so happy when we got there and they found out. They played a could hours then ate at the concession area and went back to playing games. Facility was clean. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions and we’re very detailed. They can’t wait to go back. #vipairsoft #airsoft #lfthx #sundayfunday #goodwaytospendasunday
This was an amazing experience for me. I have always wanted to have a place to play and now I have a wonderful indoor arena with many different engagement distances. Hoping I can come here often. The staff is phenomenal helped me with any problems and were very kind and helpful. Pro shop pricing was very fair love the experience
Great place for a birthday party and it was 10$ Tuesday. With gun and equipment rental it was about 25 per kid. Not bad. They even got bbs.
Refs have their hands tied by management and cannot really solve problems. Pricing is done in a way to maximize profit instead of maximize return business. The field also has 2main choke points that make gameplay pretty monotonous when theres a lot of people.Edit in response to VIP:This last Saturday I was physically threatened by a middle aged player. Refs acknowledged this and yet seemed unable to deal with the issue or remove that player due to what they alluded to was a very high threshold for removal. This is not news to the community and is pretty widely known that players get away with some pretty toxic behavior at VIP. It would benefit the community, the refs who have to deal with these issues, and the business by ensuring better and safer gameplay for new and experienced players alike to have very clear and consistently enforced rules with clearly defined consequences. Especially dealing with verbal threats towards other players.
Great field always a good time!!
Very fun place to play lots of players show up super friendly staff, good refs and prices. Other players are super friendly to,definitely will go back. I might even go to the lock in Im sure its as good as todays exerience. Super cool place 10/10.
Great place to go, I love going here on weekends. Running into a cheater usually happens rarely unless they are new but the referees do amazing at their job and the service is amazing.
Awesome place to play! Best indoor field I have ever played. Will always come here. Great staff great prices on gear
The Phoenix location is very large. In general, there are really good players. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The proshop is decently stocked with competitive prices. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it is a little more expensive than other fields to play.
Went here for my friends birthday and it was my first ever time attending an airsoft event. I had a great time and intend on bringing a few of my friends with me this weekend. We played from 2:00-6:00 and the moment I left I was dying to go back. I dont usually leave reviews however when I go to a place like this, I like to write a review. Cant wait to come back for more fun.
Nice, clean place, right in the door the staff was friendly and nice. At $21 for admission and 1000 bbs, its a pretty good deal.
Awesome field, VIP did an excellent job with the layout of this field. Not too dense, plenty of cover with room to move. Facility is very clean and will kept, plenty of staging room, and the staff is friendly. Megaphones, team color sashes, dedicated spawn areas made getting used to the venue simple. Great base of players so far, not overrun with really young kids. Engagements are long but close enough that the bang rule isnt overused.More expensive to play at than the other fields in Phoenix, but you get what your pay for, if youre willing to pay it. The music is a little loud and it made the referees orders difficult to hear. Probably needs some insulation in the ceiling to deaden the echos from the music and megaphones, it was hard to hear the referees orders.Overall great experience, will definitely come again!
Went there to play a game or two with my little brother and rental guns $400 later I’ve got the entire setup great place owner works in pro shop VERY knowledgeable set me up with a great gun G&G branding went to play with it today none of the adjustments are working Called back they told me to bring it in and see what they can do. After speaking to Josh a manager he replaced the entire gun for me even with me being a complete jerk no restocking fee or anything. Excellent customer service, play arena and owner who stands behind their products! This plac is a MUST SEE for newbies or VETS !
I was just at the pro shop buying parts for my hi-capa but when I got home i saw that the box for my tracer unit was ripped and my tracer unit missing the battery cover is missing and i wasnt able to screw it on to the new adapter i bought for my hi-capa. They did help me with my purchases but i guess they didnt know that the tracer unit was missing the cover but Im pretty sure they would notice how the box was torn.
I went there for the first time last Friday and I had a great time, staff was cooperative and very willing to show me things I didnt know, i would recommend this to my friends any day. (Edit) it has now been roughly a month since my last visit and I have just purchased my own rifle, the areana was even better then second tine, keep up the good work
From a player who is an avid airsofter it is a very nice field. Referees are some of the best you will find! Pro shop is always stocked and fun. But there is a community of speed softers that play on the weekends that are extremely obnoxious and constantly yell offense slurs. They are always over shooting you in the arena. But other than that it is one of the best Airsoft arenas in the United States !
The first time I went here it was pretty good the second time was pretty awful. They charge for everything... an airsofter that plays every weekend this company would nickel and dime them to death. It cost me a hundred dollars for me and my 2 sons to play for TWO HOURS! They charged me a 4 hour block times 3. Apparently. Show up for a full 4 hour block or suffer financially. Plus house BB’s plus safety glasses which No one Else requires. Had to buy 3 fluted barrels in order to Chrono. (Their Chrono rating is lower than most stock FPS one of the AEG’s I bought from them) I get a company has to make money. But I need a good product the best thing they offer is the field is large and pretty clean I’ll give them that. Refs are too “busy” for most anything. Could easily go 20 min without even seeing them. All in all I think this is a great place if your a part time/first time airsofter. Constant players need a more inexpensive option.
I live in the Surprise area, so this field is an hour away from me, so I cant go often, but of the fields around my area, this one is worth the drive, by far my favorite arena. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, on busy nights refs will patrol the arena to make sure everything is fine and dandy. I hope to get some awesome photos and clips with my gopro to show my wonderful experience. If youre ever there, Im always running a shotgun :3-Horus
I had lots of fun coming to this area as I was a first time airsofter. The staff seemed playful while working but I feel like that helped lighten the mood as I came in by myself not knowing anyone there. I came in late with only 1 and a half hours long but I was able to play games back to back. Id love to see how many games I could get out of a 4 hour day or longer. The other players both new and veteran were all respectful and followed the rules as best they can helped inforced by the refs. One player was said to be going full auto and he was checked almost instantly. Thank you, for helping me decide I want to go all the way into this sport.
I just went there today and I love it its a great place lots of friendly people and so nice employees that will always help you of theres anything wrong
Sadly I went here with a friend and had a rather negative experience. If you go there expecting a safe family friendly environment you might be out of luck. After only a few minutes of playing we had people on the other team putting there guns on full auto and shooting people way too close. When someone in our party addressed this issue to a staff member they were told that they come here all the time and to not make a fuss about it.As the games progressed one of the People that comes there all time tried to start a fight with a middle age father on the other team. He was the bigger man and walked away after a few minutes of growing tension. But they decided to pull him out of the game.It was blatantly shown that this place is ran by young kids and have a total lack of regard for honest safety and would rather help there friends have a good time.Defiantly will not be going again and would not recommend to anyone I know.
Good products, good service. They helped me out with a magazine problem the day after my purchase.
Good Customer Service and helpful Support Staff. They are willing to work with people on new things and new ideas! i hope to be playing at arena soon
They are really nice and help you with everything
I have a question what’s the allowed FPS.
I need friends ;( hmo
Amazing field, big shop, nice to customers
Very well built field. Techs are knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are fair. Staff for the most part is wonderful, minus the ones that play and do not call hits. More refs on the field would be helpful.
Awesome and has strong, tight, good guns.
This is maybe through my opinion my favorite which has a great field and feels exact for me being not to small nor large along with there being many great people also in there proshop there is a good enough selection of gear, attachments, along with guns.
Amazing refs and service had lots of fun will return
I dont like that fact that u cannot use your own BBs here which makes it very inconvenient for me.
New location as of June 3, 2017. Use to be a bowling alley. The indoor field is much bigger then the Gilbert location. Due to the size, many can play without crowding. The field can be split up into three separate areas. You will need to purchase the bbs from the pro shop or at check in. I recommend purchasing 4,000 for $15 vs $5 for 1,000. Due to the size of the field, you will go through a lot of bbs. This location is great for rifles.
Great gameplay but service takes eons and took bout half an hour before I got deferred again. Also isnt the place for getting airsoft gear, since their selection is incredibly limited.
Grate action I love it thank you there
I thought it was awesome and funThe pro shop is very good with great airsoft guns and scopes!
Staff was awesome, good customer service and overall a very fun experience
Great service for the most part sometimes its a little under staffed but most of the time absolutely wonderful buying experience
VIP Airsoft in Phoenix is worth the drive to play there. This location is a converted bowling alley, and is quite large - perfect for airsoft. It opened in June, 2017. There is another VIP airsoft located in Gilbert, Arizona. The Gilbert location is much smaller and the players experience will be quite different than the one in Phoenix. Due to the size and the layout of the Phoenix location, it is much more amenable for longer-distance engagements with rifles, although handgun players will also have a lot of fun playing. Consequently, the bang-bang or surrender rule is rarely applied. The field is broken up into 3 separate arenas: CQB, Camelot, and Shantytown. Game play can be carried out in 1, 2, or all 3 of the fields concurrently. This allows for more entertaining engagements adjustable to the number and skill of the players present. The arena is well-lit. Low-light games are sometimes hosted, and is also quite fun.The location is empathetic to the parents who decide to wait for their children playing there by providing power outlets at each of the tables in the large staging area. The WiFi offered at the location allows the parents to be productive while waiting for a 4-hour play session. Some of the parents do drop off their children to play at the field and leave. It just depends on your own comfort factor in doing so. I initially waited for my child. After the constant nagging to get me to play, I relented. So now we play together. Its a great bonding experience and quite a workout. You are never too old to spend time with your kids in a worthwhile activity away from the screen. The game play is supervised by numerous referees. Cursing is discouraged, as well as unsafe airsoft weapon handling / use. I appreciate both being enforced. Airsoft is an honor sport, and most players play by the rules. Those who are non-compliant are either warned or kicked off the field.VIP Phoenix allows both AEG (airsoft electric gun) and HPA (high-pressured air / electro-pneumatic) to be used. AEGs muzzle velocity is limited to 350 ft/s, while the HPAs are limited to 300 ft/s. Each gun brought to the field is chronographed and tagged at each session to make sure everyone is compliant. You will have to purchase the 0.20 gram house BBs. You cannot bring your own BBs to play there. Due to the layout of the arena, consider getting the 3,000 BB pack / deal. You will go through a lot of BBs at the Phoenix location. You should also consider bringing an extra battery for your AEG, because the courtesy charging offered on-site may be completely full. The location is well-equipped. There is a pro shop that sells airsoft guns and accessories. A repair shop is also available. Well-stocked concession stand sells snacks and drinks. Bathrooms are clean (at least on the mens side - I cannot comment on the womens side).Considering the cost per hour to play, all the amenities, and being able to play airsoft in an air conditioned building during the hot Arizona summers, playing there is a no-brainer even if it takes us 45 minutes to get there. It allows for A LOT of trigger time in a safe, fun, and controlled environment.
First time in very impressed.
Great sized arena, great workout and different leveled platforms
This place is awesome! Great workout!
Be back to buy that glock next time I’m there Tom
This place scammes you for your money ;-(
Im so mad I dont live in AZ anymore. But good luck on your new arena.
