BEST USE OF ZOOM MEETINGS EVER! Our company did a murder mystery with them in an online meeting and it couldnt have been better. The story was fun and the fact that our own team was involved with the acting as well as the investigation. Well worth the money spent!
We hosted a party at our home, Whitney was our actress/hostess and did an awesome job. She played her character beautifully, she kept our crowd of 12 entertained the whole time. We had a great couple hours of laughs. I cant say enough good things. After reading the reviews Im convinced that hosting a party rather than going to a public event is more entertaining. Whitney showed up early, explained how the game works, greeted all our guests in character, set out props, and kept the whole game running smoothly. She was hilarious and fun. Well done!
Had a great time doing our Zoom Murder Mystery! Brandon did a fantastic job walking some of us through our first murder mystery and it really helped to have someone giving us clues. We may not have solved the murder, but we got this next time!
Had a great time with Brandon for our murder mystery team building lunch. Great acting and tons of fun. Bravo.
This has the potential to be an enjoyable experience, but it was poorly executed. There was way too much information that was not clearly specified. The pasta was cold, salad was old, and the ice cream was tiny. The only good thing was the enthusiasm from the actors. Also, it seems like somewhat of a family activity, but there were far too many poorly-written, lewd jokes for this to be considered kid-friendly.
It was interesting to watch “Bob” try and “act” while appearing to be having some side effects from the amount of cocaine he had done before the show. His jaw was nonstop moving. Besides how unprofessional that was it was still not a very a good performance from the “bride” and her “mother” the food was pretty bad, service was good. Thank goodness for a couple people playing along, they had good humor. I would not recommend the murder mystery to anyone.
These guys provided an awesome experience for a company event that I was part of. The cast really made it fun and engaging! Will definitely recommend to anyone.
This was in the back of the Old Spaghetti factory in Chandler, and only had 3 actors. They had the crowd participate which sounds like a good idea in theory to get them involved, but in practice, it was awful. The professional actors were not to the level of performance i would have expected. They also used adult lewd humor many times which I didnt expect, and it should have been made known these were in the show. The food was good but it definitely was not the worth the whole amount even with the Groupon discount. I wouldnt do this again.
I was invited to the Murder Mystery event and had truly been looking forward to it. I’d say for me personally, this particular production just wasn’t my cup of tea. I thought I was going to watch a performance by professional actors, but instead watched 3 sub par actors and many people from the crowd in the show. They expected those people to roll play their parts. They selected them on their own instead of asking for volunteers therefore clearly most of them were not comfortable reading or acting their parts. It definitely was not worth the money even at a Groupon discount. Also they used tacky lewd adult humor multiple times throughout the show which should be listed on their website. The spaghetti was good but the salad was old. Overall I would not attend this Production again.
They did a performance in Prescott and it was a blast! Such a fun and interactive dinner!
Performance was fun and interactive. The way it is structured makes it really easy to work with your table to solve the mystery- even if they are complete strangers. It is more fun when you and everyone else gets involved- so you get out what you put in. Only complaint I have is that I wish they had mentioned on the website or email that they accept cash tips (you don’t get a bill so you can’t put it on card). None of our party carries cash and felt bad not leaving anything after being told that tips weren’t included in the ticket price.
Tyler- one of the actors (I hope I spelled his name right) was so kind to join us at a Murder Mystery Dinner in Old Town Scottsdale. He did a nice job from start to finish. We got time to chow down on the food that we ordered while Tyler explained how the game would be played and then had us pick out a hat- from which our role in the game would be determined. I thought that was pretty cool - having role based on hat rather than random assignment. Then, Tyler gave us binders so we could read about our character. Luckily, I got an easy one- Gus the Milkman. I guess, only downside was some of the things on the binder for the other actors were pretty confusing and hard to remember. It also made it confusing too when we cross-questioned each other....But Tyler did a great job remaining positive when other actors forgot facts about their character from the binder and made sure to give everyone a huge round of applause once they were done acting.Lastly, love how at the end we got an award for best actor!Overall, pretty good experience.
Such a great time! The cast was fun and engaging especially Racquel, she had everyone laughing and excited. The show is funny and the food from Old Spaghetti Factory is great too. Really wish I dressed up as someone from the 1920s, next time. They will have you act as your character since audience is a big part of the show. Im not a person that gets out in front of people often but this did it in a fun and enjoyable way. Highly recommend it!
The Murder Mystery Company at the Old Spaghetti Factory was the best interactive theatre performance I’ve ever experienced! I’ve seen a show at both the Chandler and Phoenix location; both were superb. The actors create a fun world once you enter the venue, and stay in character the whole night! They strive to incorporate the entire audience, and make sure everyone has a good time. I’ve been to other murder mystery dinner shows, but this was by far the most professional, and the most entertaining! Definitely great for a date night! I absolutely loved it! I will definitely look into booking one of their private shows for my annual family reunion!
I saw a Murder Mystery in the Phoenix at the spaghetti Factory. The actors were hilarious and really engaging. They said their names were Jenna, Brandon, and Reba. They were great, and the show was very fun. It is an event I would recommend for any family outing! I look forward to helping crack the next case with you guys! Great show again. Definitely worth the ticket price!
Im visiting my parents in Scottsdale, and they asked me to join them at a local Murder Mystery dinner. The show was engaging, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, and best of all- it was an opportunity to laugh while meeting new people. The hosts were Kelly (local realtor) and Nancy and Kathy (the skin care sisters) who were just as lively and fun as the actors....so if invited, dont miss an opportunity to play detective with this company!
This was a lovely show and wonderful experience! Though the food was average, it in no way affected the show and the quality of the actors work. Actors were lively, energetic, and welcomed the audience into their world. The Murdery Mystery Company is a great interactive ensemble experience for all to enjoy!
We enjoyed this murder mystery dinner so much! The acting, scripts and interaction were top notch! We definitely recommend for any date night, birthday party or anytime type of celebration.
What an enjoyable evening out! The crew from the murder mystery company were very professional, friendly and made the experience a lot of interactive fun. We highly recommend it! PS: dress up...it makes it even more fun!
It was fun to do something different. The food was okay, nothing great. The show was armature although it may have been better if it was held somewhere with better acoustics. It was difficult to hear and hectic when we were instructed to mingle and find clues to the murder mystery. It was fun to go once, but doubt I would go again.
The murder mystery company was great; we had a lot of fun! The food, however, was not good at all. Our night was held at the Old Spaghetti Factory. I dont recommend the food at all, but the evening was fun!Edit:. We went again last night for a western themed mystery. Had a great time and I think the actors did an even better job than the last visit! Dinner was so-so (again), but the evening was a lot of fun Thanks again!
I went with my family to see the Wild West show at the Chandler Spaghetti Factory on Saint Patricks Day with my family & I enjoyed the experience so much, that I insisted that the Photographer (Travis) write down the names of all the actors to give them credit for their hilarious performances on my review. The names of the actors were; Brandon, Jenna & Michael, and they were absolutely phenomenal! They all really made me feel like I was in a real-life version of the board game Clue! I even told Dickie Quick he was a real Ladies man & looked & reminded me of my Grandson, who is also a real ladies man! I will be definitely be recommending this experience to all of my friends! :)My family & I still quote Dickie Quick Pistol & Mayor Topdrop till the this day around the house.
A perfect, unforgettable and exhilarating experience! I have been to other dinner theatre shows and what makes this one stand out is how it brings you into the show. Each table gets its own suspect, which means one person seated at your table gets brought into the action. Other than that, there are different bits which call upon audience participation such as dating games, interrogations, etc. Its fun to watch audience members become their roles, but they were also guided by witty and hilarious professional actors. I will definitely be seeing more of these shows!
Killer night!!! Got to witness the Noir She Didn’t theme at the Chandler location with some friends for a fun night out. We were not expecting it to be as interactive and engaging as it was, but it blew us away! One of our friends was even selected to play one of the suspects for the evening. The actors did a wonderful job staying in character and helping with any questions about the crime and investigating. Overall the show/case was funny, entertaining, and lively. Definitely going to come back for a future show and might be booking a private holiday show with the company!!!
Had such a good time tonight! Definitely plan on attending another mystery
Got to see the Noir show at the Chandler location and it was a wonderful night out with friends! The actors were funny, friendly, and entertaining. The actor Brandon playing the mob boss Terry Bull welcomed everyone into the restaurant with funny banter and lots of energy and was very helpful about handling my food allergies and coordinating with the wait staff. The Detective played by the director Travis kept the show running at a good pace and did very well at revelealing clues and secrets about the case. What made the show unique was how interactive the show was as it literally puts audience members into the show. All in all a great night out!
If my lovely bride of 47 years had not had a broken arm we would have enjoyed the show a lot more. That is not to say that we did not have a great time because we did. It would have been a lot better if we could have dressed in the 20s style. Hard to do with a broken wing. The food was great and we will do it again just as soon as the wing gets fixed.
What a great time for young and old. We took my 80+yr old mother in law and two teenagers and they loved it. My shy daughter suddenly became a talkative detective. And the angry boy had a smile on his face and actually ended up being part of the play. It was amazing.
Super fun evening with my daughters. It was engaging, funny, and kept us on our toes. Totally interactive and really got the audience involved. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of where you hold your event. The service was HORRIBLE and the food was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, the venue, food, and show all go together. Try to find a better place so people can give you the five stars your show deserves!!
Went to the Masquerade on 10/20 and Michael, Jenna and I think Ryan were the hosts! What a wonderful team. Food was good, entertainment was amazing and atmosphere was entertaining. The only complaint I would have is that I think the bread should be pre-sliced before coming to the table. We dont know if someone at the table didnt wash their hands or what not. Just a suggestion. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!
I would love to leave a review of this, however my show got cancelled less than 24 hours before the event and all I got was an email saying that it was it cancelled. I had prepared for the show and had to change all of my plans. When I called to reschedule they were less than helpful about getting me into a new show.
We had the Murder Mystery Company perform a show for us at the Golden Sun RV resort, and what a fantastic way to spend the night! My husband and I enjoyed watching the actors play out the mystery by selecting a few of our friends and other audience members to play the suspects. We heard that this company also performs shows at the Old spaghetti factory; so we are very excited to look into that for the future! The only negative remark that I have is that although the actors were offered food after the show, I dont think it looked very professional to eat during the show. They should have put the food aside until the show was over. One of the female actors, the young, black woman, was sitting down during the show eating on the side, while the others were walking around with the audience members during the investigating part. I just thought it looked a little unprofessional. I might be nitpicking, but that was my take on the matter. Other than that, it was a great night, put on by a talented bunch of people! I definitely recommend seeing this murder mystery show.
Awesome!!! The actors drag u into participation between drinks and food. Great experience all around.DRESS THE PART!!!!!
Our evening was so much fun! The food was delicious, the actors were hilarious, and we were constantly entertained. We will definitely be returning with the rest of our friends.
This was a really fun night. Great show and group participation. We dressed up which made it even more fun. Reason for 4 stars is that food was only ok at the spaghetti factory. I would totally do this again!
Great fun gave 4 stars instead of five cuz the people that were chosen to play the suspects over half of them didnt know how to use the information they were given to play the game. I think it should have been explained more to them (if it was at all)especially if they had never done a dinner theater before!
If you like the board game CLUE, then you will fall in love with the Murder Mystery Company and its Staff. Its fun, exciting a little disappointing when you choose the wrong villain but a genius in note taking. Put in on your To Do List!!!
It was 4 of us. My sister got to be in the show and we had a blast. Cant wait to go too another show.
We had a great time!! Thank you Travis
So I hate to leave bad reviews, but I have to be honest; not worth the money. I even got the tickets for me and my girlfriend on groupon. We went to the 20s theme on 9/29. First of all, they put you in the back room, packed with about a hundred people, and ask you to investigate. Trying to maneuver through the crowds and th wait staff was impossible. Secondly, their speaker system was crappy, and you could only hear half of the clues being said. And lastly, the guy playing the detective and the person who dies in the beginning was terrible. You could barely hear him, and it seemed like he didnt know what the hell was going on. he kept looking at the other actors as if to ask for their help. Did he not know the script?! Im so glad I paid to see an elementary school level performance. However, the guy who was the photographer was very professional and friendly, and the young gal in the long flapper dress, the female actress, was a lot of fun. I think the best part was her interaction with the audience. Didnt buy the photos, because they are 20 bucks a pop. The food is meh. Kind of bland, but they give you a good size portion. Props to the wait staff at the restaurant for serving the size of the crowd. I dont think Id pay to go see another one of their shows; not unless they got better guy actors. Ill be back to the old Spaghetti factory though. Just not for a murder mystery.
We had a great time. The people at our table were very friendly. Looking forward to doing it again.
Absolutely fantastic! From the actors to the team work, we had a blast!
Great show. Very creative.
A fantastic time! Would like to go again.
The event we attended was called Best Laid Plans and while it was a very fun and interactive evening, the end came with a disappointment. In the end, your team is trying to determine who did it, why and how. We overheard the team next to us leaning toward the same character as us, that is until Warran Peace offered a tid bit that had them change their mind which led to them winning the evening. Not to sound childish, but our team found this as a form of cheating and it deflated the fun!
My daughter and I were really looking forward to this. Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. The performers were fun and trying to figure out who done it was okay. A bit confusing but still fun. The issue I have is the service. We were never asked if we would like a drink so settled gor water. Ok. Then I had to ask for my daughters dinner, guess they overlooked her. Finally everyone at our table was served their dessert....except us. When I asked about it the young man said he could box it up for us to go. Well, 110 in Phoenix and icecream....not a good idea. Bottom line I would go to see the show again, just somewhere else. An honest review the food was awful. I asked for a glass of white zinfiedel and got a glass of chardoay. When i asked about it they bought a glass of white zin and got charged for both. They should have a pick of dressings not everyone likes ranch. The pasta they served there where 3 different kinds of meats in it. Not sure what i was eating. Left meat and ate some of the pasta. Very disappointed in food and acting. We where regulars at old spaghetti factory dont think Ill be going bcc back soon. This was a gift from our daughter for Christmas I told her it was wonderful.
I thought the language was poor and the acting was not great. I would not recommend it.
The meal was substandard especially for the Spaghetti Factory
Great time.
