I was concerned for being in a warehouse next to the freeway, but it turned out great. The rotating display provided a greater education of vintage and modern cars. The docent was very knowledgeable on everything in the museum and answered all of our questions, even the ones we didnt know we had.
If youre a classic car nut, you must include a visit to see this collection. All the vehicles were selected by the owner Mel Martin. The cars range from a 1905 Benz through one of Shelbys first Cobras, to late model muscle cars. A must-see is Al Capones Duesenberg (value $5m,) complete with a custom rear compartment for weaponry. The resident expert, Bill, will happily give you colorful background on all the units. He clearly loves the autos.Note that the admission donation is given to local charities.Im been to lots of car museums. This is near the top of the list.
Super cool car museum. A wide variety of cars. And heres the cool thing: they actually let you sit in the cars... well most of them anyway. Fun place for any car lover.
This place is awesome. Ive never been here before. Its $10 to get in and its worth it. There is so much history in this building. I could have spent hours looking at each car, so prestigious.
What a cool place! So many incredible vehicles, such an incredible experience to walk thru time with these cars. Check them out!
My Father was in awe. Vets are free to enter. There was so much love put in to the museum. We enjoyed it.
Amazing little hidden gem. Spoke with Bill who is a friend of Mr. Martin and the history of the museum. It was a great time and they are dog friendly.
Afordable nice place to learn about automobile history. Good people wiil to answer all your questions.
Great collection of automobiles, my two sons loved it. The staff was very knowledgeable about each car.
Great place to check out cool cars. Staff here are great guys. Enjoy all the history of vehicles inside.
This is truly a hidden gem! I pass it all the time on the way home from work and Ive been saying that I was going to go for months and months. Never had the chance to until now plus I didnt think it was going to be that big of a deal.... oh, was I wrong about that!!! This place is AMAZING!!!! If you love cars... you are going to never want to leave! Even if you dont care much for cars, this place is fascinating, wonderful, historic, nostalgic with not only the cars but the gas pumps, the diner chairs, old juke boxes, and so so so much more!! I thought this place was small but its NOT.. its a great size with A LOT of beautiful cars there.I loved it and so did my 8 year old son. He wants to go back again and again and again!!!!The people are phenomenal! They are friendly, welcoming, courteous, and they love what they do,.. and they have some really incredible stories to tell. They are the best and so is there museum!! YOU MUST GO HERE!!!!They ask a $10 donation for adults and children get in free. The donations are not a must but if you come by here... give them the donation! Its well worth the money and it helps this place out tremendously. They are the nicest people I have met!!!Im going back again this week and I cant wait... my son cant either!! We want to see some of the things we didnt get a chance to today!! There is so much to see.... the photos Im posting doesnt even come close to how much more they have!!! Trust me.. go here! You will not regret it!!Its fun for one.. its even more fun with the whole family!!!! Too much to say about this place, youve got to see it to believe it! Oh and the NASCAR here? Thats Jeff Gordons!! He raced that car!!! Thats right, all the cars here are the real deal!!!
A hidden little gem! A lot of great classic cars and other memorabilia. I recommed checking it out.
Fantastic time with amazing cars. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, and gave us a great personalized tour. Oh, and the bathrooms are super clean. Its worth paying the donation fee.
A gem if youre at all interested in cars and auto paraphernalia. They have a bit of everything from antique toy car models, gas pumps, mechanic tools, a working carousel, and of course cars. Antique cars, race cars, vintage cars, and some modern day cars. Its all well maintained, polished and clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They run on donation so theres no charge to enter, but if you can donate $10 per person it helps them keep the place running. In my opinion its worth it.For time consideration, you might spend an hour looking at everything, two hours or more if cars are a passion and you want to read all the information and inspect them all. Its a good way to spend a morning or afternoon.Small children might get bored as in any museum, but kids who like cars will like it. It has some funny exhibits, carousel, and a driving video game, plus plenty of cars with custom paint thats very eye catching for all ages. If it were a board game I would recommend ages 5 to 105.
I went with my dad, who is a big car guy! We can’t drive down the street without him pointing out a car, mentioning its make, model, and year, and telling me a story about a time he owned one, or wanted one, or had a friend who drove one. The museum guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and the car inventory at this museum was truly impressive. Well done, Mr. Mel Martin. I have a feeling my dad and I will be back at some point!
Fantastic great value beautiful works of art in vehicles old vintage nick-nacks very very clean the staff there will go out of their way to help you and answer all questions just a delight in the middle of the town. Its it should take you at least 2 hours or more to go through. These photographs that I took do not I repeat do not reflect on the beauty of these machines. You have to see it to believe it its so well worth it.
I have known Mel martin for years. He is truly a car guy and lover, as it shows in his collection. No one theme, just cars, trucks and tractors. There is even a merry-go-round. The place has a party room you can rent for an event and catering is available.
Cool cars and old memorabilia. Kinda steep to expect $10 each.
Our young boys loved the variety of cars and the free racing games
Whoa! Loved it! Great musuem close to home! Corvette was the coolest!
Worth the stop, amazing things to see and educational!
Great place to go back in time... and enjoy some fabulous automobiles. ( Theyre probably in better condition than new... really beautiful !) Go see for yourself !
Awesome little gem. Great indoor and cool place to check out some vintage rods.
Free to go to but they do ask for a donation, which I was happy to provide. The place doesnt look like much outside but everything inside was great! One of their staff was kind enough to do a tour with me and 2 others, he had alot of fun knowledge about the cars.Even if youre not a car person its a great place to see. Id say plan for 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Fantastic museum of automotive Americana. There are cars from early 1900 through modern day performance cars. All cars are in fantastic condition and beautiful to look at. Apparently all are also fully drivable and actually do get driven. A must see place for any car guy.
This place is setup well. You can walk between cars and see inside and under the hood quite well. A wonderful automotive experience! And cheap to get in. 10 bucks at the door and all my questions answered with pleasant knowledge. And yes there is a Shelby cobra hanging out there.
Its a car museum and I love cars!
This is a fellow Phoenix Jaycee establishment & has awesome collection of vintage cars. Also great place to hold events at.
The docents are very knowledgeable about all the cars in the museum. There is a great variety of different years and style of car so a little something for everyone.
Some interesting vehicles here with a very friendly staff more than willing to tell you all they know about these machines.
Cool older cars. Nice staff will show you around.
Really nice museum with friendly personnel. Great cars
Interesting collection. Most cars are not conserved but restored. Many have been customized. The recently acquired LaSalle is a beauty. Also a Shelby that has only six actual miles on it. Worth a couple of hours.
Highly recommend a visit to this auto museum I have driven past here many times. Impressive collection of automobiles
Amazing place! 65 Historical vehicle from 1886 to present. Kept nice piece of history. Very nice staff. Definately recommended to visit!
Great little local museum located right off I-17. Features an eclectic collection of American cars through the ages. Museum takes about an hour to walk through, which is perfect if youre visiting with someone who has a short attention span. Admission cost is $10/person as a donation to the museum.
A lot of iconic autos from late model Cadillac prototype to vintage steamer, even a Carol Shelby original cobra, theres something for everyone to appreciate.
This is a great place. There is a great selection of historical cars. Also, it is a great place to hold an event. The North Phoenix Chamber of Commerce held its monthly luncheon at the Museum. It was great.
So many classic cars, so clean, restored and many Ive never seen before at other museums in the US or Europe. The staff and volunteers were eager to provide information on each vehicle, their owners and the history of the specific vehicle. We were in a crunch for time, spent an hour but easily could have spent the entire morning. Well be back the next time were in Phoenix, and weve made this a must see for our family and friends.
Fantastic museum all cars well looked after will visit again.
Great place to see some of the best classic vehicles ever made. This place should definitely be a must visit for car connisuers.

Great staff. Amazing systems for reasonable prices
It was the greatest and fun fact filled adventure for my boyfriend and I. We loved the collection and the gentleman that was showing us a few of his favorites in the collection was very nice, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. Once again wonderful small experience I highly recommend if you have a love for cars.

Great collection of unique and amazing cars, something for everyone. Exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Nice museum! Some rare cars.
My wife and I were looking for some automotive museums when we were visiting Phoenix. Martin Automotive popped up on a google search so we found and visited this place. We were not disappointed, Martins has lots of really cool cars in this location. One thing I really like is the fact that you can interact with the vehicles. Your allowed to open doors, hoods, and really take a close look at the vehicles. Your allowed to sit in them takes pictures and just stroll through the entire place at your own pace. Its all free but I would recommend leaving a donation its a really cool stop if you like old cars
Lots of beautiful Cars there.
Hidden gem!Small museum with an amazing collection on vehicles, well worth a visit.
We had our family reunion during Thanksgiving 2018 and we made a trip to the museum on Black Friday with all of our family members from all over the United States, as soon as we walked in the museum we were greeted by the workers (Rick,Tim and Jeff), they provided us with wheelchairs for the elderly family members as well as split us up in groups for guided tours, very memorable trip for everybody especially because of the variety of cars and years they have on display, love the memorabilia they have one display as well
If you love vintage cars, you will find the one of your dreams here. Plan on spending some time as there are many timeless and well restored autos here.
Absolutely incredible ️. This museum had true antiques and 1/500 production pices some valued at $2,000,000+. Would recommend to anyone to stop by and see a part of history!
Small but solid museum. I was told they rotate their cars periodically, so Ill definitely be back!

Great experience for US oldies, but better for 5yo grandsgr who thought Martin Auto was GREAT a SECOND time. (visited at age 3). Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Took special care to show us around - explaining the various cars and in some cases their significance. Very much looking forward to possibility of NEW DIGS SOON.

Awesome place to stop in and see a lot of historical and classic cars. The staff were really knowledgeable and friendly.
Great Collection, cars for all tastes!
My daughter and i went. It was so much fun. You can just wander around. But someone is close with a story about the cars or to answer any quedtions. We want to go back soon.

Really nice place. Great cars and always getting new stuff.
Friendly staff and interesting displays. Wide variety of makes and models in a clean and well-kept space.
What a great little auto museum! Most of the cars are special in some way. Light weight, big block factory special cars, or cars that belonged to royalty.Almost all of the cars run and drive. The people working there obviously love cars and their passion shows.Ill go back again and again.
As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and shown around by a volunteer. A few automobiles that you will never see anywhere else, and we got to sit in a few cars as well. All the vehicles are maintained and in running condition.
This is fantastic place! Many very unique and unusual vehicles that you have probably never seen anywhere else. You must visit.
Beautiful cars. Very informative curator
This is a great medium sized museum. The collection has something for almost everyone. Full Classics, brass era, muscle cars, race cars, Corvettes and originals are all on display at this spotless 30,000 sf facility. the staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. When in the Phoenix area do not miss this.
Surprising gem of a automobile museum. Clean and bright facility with a nice cross section of mostly American vehicles. Not just your usual selection, but several unique classics to examine in a casual atmosphere. Definitely worth getting there, a great place to recall cars and memories of our youth.
My wife surprised me with a visit to this Auto Museum. The cars were so cool inside bring me back to my younger days. I was even surprised they had a Shelby Cobra inside that was 6 figures. What surprised me is if you like cars that much, you can even get married in the museum. The cost of getting in to the museum its just a donation. So I would suggest everyone go see if they have your favorite vehicle there!
A car lovers museum. A variety of cars and some interesting stories. Friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
Lots of unique vehicles and memorabilia. Very clean, nice.
What an amazing collection and surprise to see so many rare cars.
A very friendly and informative greeting from Rick starts the visit. Theyve utilized the space with some very rare vehicles and memorabilia. I caught myself reminiscing several times. Well worth a place to visit...!!!
Had way more cars then I imagined. Cost $10 to get in. Spent 2 hours in the museum.
Visiting from Hawaii and lucked in to finding this awesome car museum. The collection has a nice variety of new and old, stock and custom. Really enjoyed seeing the Lister Corvette and Shelby Cobra. Enjoyed my visit. Mahalo
We decided to stop by the museum after driving by it for years, it far exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, personable, and inviting. It was a lot larger and a better selection of cars than we expected. In fact it was so awesome, that a future wedding will be held at the venue ! Thanks Mel Martin for a great experience !
We had such a good time here. The cars are amazing, with a variety in a class all of its own.The host was very nice, answered all our questions, hung out with us the whole time. It was like hanging out in a garage and shooting the breeze with old friends.Well worth the money, they did mention they do change out the cars constantly for the owners collection quit extensive and not all the cars can fit in the museum. There are many one of a kind cars there. You may not realize it, so be sure to ask, every one of them are unique in their own way with great stories behind each and every one of them.We spent about 2 hours there, but you could get in and in an hour if needed. Personally I could stayed all day. I just love it!
Excellent collection the personal is very friendly and highly acknowledged about those cars, amazing experience.
Awesome place and the guide was very informative and passionate!
Nice car collection everything from Chryslers to Cobras, the curators were awesome, he let my nephew sit in the Great Racer. Only a five dollar donation!
Its kinda cool. If you like cars, I think you should find this place interesting. They do have some interesting facts about some of the cars in there.
