My child went to AZP the coaches treated her poorly they told her that she was bad, they never payed attention to the kids, and the competitive gymnastics teachers were always on their phones. I have seen countless children get dropped or hurt because the coach was not paying attention to the kids, but they were paying attention to there phones. It was fun in the beginning but the coaches made my daughter miserable and not want to go to practice.
Our daughter has been attending AZ Prestige for the last 6 months and loves it! Were really impressed with their organization and knowledge. They provide great small group instruction and maximize class time. Their price point is very fair as well!
We have been with AZ Prestige Gymnastics for the past couple years. Their coaches work so well with the kids. They always provide great training, encouragement and feedback to help each child improve and move up levels. I have recommended AZ Prestige to many family members and friends, and everyone has loved them just as much as I do. Their new gym is big and spacious and has a nice waiting room for parents.
Very friendly and efficient. The staff got right to work processing our forms as well as getting girls out on the mats. My girls (both 12 yo) felt welcomed even though they were new. They loved the help and tips on back handspring clinic. Definitely going again. Great experience for them.
This place has been great. Kids had a blast and summer camp. They love the weekly gymnastics and cheer class. All the teachers are so nice.
I love this place! My daughter started here when she was 3 and she is now 5. All of the instructors she has had have all been very good with all of the children they are teaching. I highly recommend this gym to everyone!
My daughter cheered here for 4 seasons! (From the age of 5-9 years). She started out doing well. However, when she started struggling and asked for help she was denied the help. I was told, “she already knows how to do it so she needs to just do it”. This is something you do not say to a child. When she starts landing her skills again (with help from an outside source) she was told “You need to keep doing this or you will be pulled from your stunt”. This statement really bothered my daughter. After this statement, we immediately pulled her. There are other ways this should have been approached. I was also told because there was a lot going on at home that she just had too much on her mind. I have witnessed numerous occasions where my daughter asked for help and was denied the help.
My son thoroughly enjoys gym and is looking forward to competition this year. The Prestige coaches have trained him well and he is excited to practice each time I drop him off. Its a great value for the price as well!
My daughter just loves this place!
Place is great for my child.
We like this business, it’s a very good value for starting competitive cheer. They have a most excellent competitive gymnastics program with some state champions. Since they moved, from Bell and 59th area, the gymnastics has gotten better with better equipment! I do miss the old cheer area because it was separate, cheer parents could interact better, and parents could watch their children. There non-competitive gymnastic classes are excellent as well with some of the best pricing and good instructors. Ron and Patty are both wonderful people, and their policy on makeup classes is the best ever! You wont find a more fairly valued and honest place to send your kids!Highly recommend this business.
We have been going there since 2012. 6 years later we are still here and I now have all 3 of my girls going there. They love it there and so do I. They have always treated me like family. I think because it’s a smaller gym, you don’t get lost in the crowd. The owners always have an open door and make time to talk to you if you need to talk about anything. Their cheer program is awesome!! Coach Patty is the BEST!!! The things she gets these little girls to do is AMAZING!!! All 3 of my girls took competitive cheer. They really are like a family there. Their gymnastic programs are awesome as well. Coach Wendy is a great coach and treats her girls like her own children. She has so much patience and takes time to teach them proper form and all the little and big details needed to compete. I don’t have any boys in the program, but their boys recreational gymnastic program as well as their competitive gymnastic programs have the best coaches you can find!!! Coach Tim is the best! He has worked with my daughter on skills for gymnastics and she loves him! So do a lot of other girls that do privates with him for cheer and for gymnastics. If your looking to get your kiddos started in cheer or gymnastics this is the place to be!I can’t wait to be in their new location!!! So excited!!
I recently took my daughter to do a trial class and it was a very strange experience. My 9 year old is brand new to gymnastics. She has been talking about doing it for years and we are finally able to make it work. On our way there, we were both basically jumping out of our skin with excitement. As a mother, watching my child in a sport is a very proud moment and I want to live that everytime she does. We arrive into a small space and approach the window, the women behind the counter were in conversation so it took a minute. I proceeded to tell the front desk that my daughter was there for a trial class. I was given a form to sign, got that filled out and handed it back... and that was it. This woman turned back around in her chair and proceeded to continue the conversation behind the counter. Being completely new to gymnastics and also being in a space that didnt feel cohesive was kind of throwing us both for a loop. We see these younger children running into the gym to start a class, yet we are completely clueless if thats her class, what are the instructors names, how this whole thing works. Finally I walked into the gym with my daughter and was just asking anyone (even children) about where my daughter was supposed to be. I looked over after an awkward minute or two and saw a girl with a bright green sweater. I ask her and she lets me know that my daughter is in fact in that specific class. I go out to the uncohesive front area space and sit on a bleacher. Yes, you heard me right, just one single bleacher sitting in front of the window. No back on it, definitely wasnt clean... no wonder I was one of only two parents watching. Im a mom that wants to watch her child and take pictures and videos. Not just for the first class; for every single class. The instructors were AMAZING with my daughter though and they made her feel comfortable. The stars I am giving are purely for those girls and honestly Id give them 10 of them. Front desk, management and overall condition of that front space really need some work. Luckily, we found another gymnastics location that has been a complete 180° from AZ Prestige. Nice parent seating areas, multiple rooms of equipment and spring boards. The front desk was SO accommodating, so much so that my daughter tugged on my sleeve and said she knew she liked that place better. We were introduced to instructors, took a small tour and we knew that we were signing up that same day. I was a for sure customer walking into AZ Prestige, money in hand, and basically got turned away because of bad customer service.
My daughter loves it there shes been there for about 3yrs now!!
Love this place! There cheer/tumbling team prices are amazing for the level of instruction given to your child. Our 3 year old started this season which runs until May 2018, and she gets two 90 minute classes per week for under $80/month. The young ones are an exhibition team since they are 3-4 yrs olds and some late 5 year old children who cant officially compete due to late birthdays. The older kid programs do cost more, but you get more class time too. All the cheer moms tell me this is the most affordable place in town for cheer, and they still do well in competition. Ive been told the cost is 50% or more less than other competitive cheer programs. Also, our daughter gets a substantial discount on gymnastic classes by being on the cheer team. They also have open tumbling mat for the cheer team at only $20/month more and there is usually an instructor there to assist the kids. The kids have 2 different uniforms for practice (red and black) which cost $80 total - they are very nice looking with the AZP logo and graphic design. Competition fees are $100/each and they are all local except 1 Vegas trip for the older kids. Competitive costumes I hear run about $150-$200, which is about half the price of other gyms.My daughter takes 3 gymnastic classes per week for $5/class with her cheer discount. The prices they list in their flyer are for an 8 week period. 1 (45 min) class is $95, or $47.5 per month.I dont think their prices are high, whoever says that should provide details where you find cheaper and give real $ comparisons. Im giving real dollar costs for us, and I find it very reasonable, and lower cost. The atmosphere there is very friendly among the cheer parents, and the kids have treated our little one like a baby sister that they simply adore! You wouldnt get any of this at the rec. center programs!
Great place, i want to join but how much do the uniforms and comps cost?
Nice place but prices a bit high

They never finished teaching me a backhand spring BUT THEY PICKED ME FOR SUMMER TRAININNG
