Thank you for coming, but thank you for leaving. Who says that? The curator? Some old lady with artsy glasses? Im never coming back to this gallery again. Decent art but mediocre people.

One word sums up my experience with the gallery -- horrible! I consigned a work to them for 6 months for a potential sale. I never received feedback on how much interest my work garnered without hounding the gallery for it and after my consignment period ended, I was shipped the wrong painting. Dont think the owner or gallery considers customer service anything more than making a buck no matter how much experience and expert advice and clients they claim to have.

When Im in the area (I live in NJ), this is a must see. I dont go to the galleries in NY much partly because I feel out-of-place, like I dont belong there. The vibe at Bentley Projects (and Bentley Gallery) is inviting and real. They seem to actually want me to be there. Its like a NY gallery was picked up and put in the Valley of the Sun, but with nice people working there.
