Great archery range! All ages. Different practice times even for adults separate from kids. Completions are ranked by age and distance. Friendly coaches. Kids are happy and focused.

Use the hay bail targets at your own risk; pass through will tear up vanes, so bring your own target. Also, beware of not parking between the lines in the spot at the very end of the parking lot! you will be forced to move your car/truck under threat of getting a parking ticket from Park Ranger Jenna. Also, do not stay past closing time (sunset) or you can be cited as well... besides the overzealous Park Rangers, its a decent range .

Its free!!! Great range with an amazing view, plenty of space on the weekdays.Make sure to bring your own target, but if you dont have one, they do have hay bales, but theyre a little worn down in the center, if you really need to shoot the hay bales, bring duck tape or something so you have something to aim at on the sides.Theres a water fountain, but its better to bring your own water. Theres a porta potty. There are tables with chairs and are covered. There are markers for the distance, but I dont have a range finder, so I kinda just guess that they are positioned 20, 30, 40, etc...My next choice would be Ben Avery, but you pay like $7 (i i think), the range there has rubber backing and distance is marked. They also have a 3D target course thats included with what you pay.

Great spot for shooting. Nice scenery and when the sun starts setting behind the mountain you have plenty of shade before sundown. I have been there multiple times and rarely see another person out there during the week days. They do have archery training during the week. They have nicer targets for events, but the free targets they leave out work well.If you like being outside instead of crammed into lanes at an indoor facility this is a great spot.

Went during weekdays. No one else was there. A few permanent targets or bring your own.

Every weekend they fill all lanes and leave 1 or 2 for the public and if those spots are filled your not shooting. Leaving the public with only certain weekdays to go cause there is also classes during the week. This is the onlyPublic free range around here here this shouldnt be acceptable to close down 95% of the range for someone charging money for classes in a public park

Bring your own targets. My 50# bow shots went right thru their hay bales.
