Great place to gather. Saw youth being coached. I felt so good and proud etc. Seeing that man teaching fundamentals. Friendly. Multiple Basketball Court. Land for free play. Etc. I should give 5 Stars but I didnt see a Water Fountain.

Nice for family and kids .

The Rec. Is okay nice staff good sports team but the park is a different story Ive seen so many bad things happen there it was unbelievable the swings are always broke and the playground is always vandalized.

Its so sad i grew up in this neighborhood I have seen it go down horribly i see trash everywhere glass unkept play areas for the kids we spend so much in city taxes we have all these city employees that dont look as if they are doing there jobs i see more city employees drinking outside the park than i see cleaning the park i came out there personally with my own cleaning supplies and was turned away!! These politicians always want our votes but they do nothing when they get them! It doesnt matter left wing right wing their all apart of the same bird! This is the only place some of these children have to play, If anything i hope this at least starts a conversation

Great place to help kids stay out of trouble

Had a great time with my granddaughter and my husband. There were lots of kids and everyone played well together. All of the play areas was well kept. Highly recommend you take a trip!

Went to the pool here and had a great time! Its smaller than the other city pools weve been to, but the ample shallow area is great for kids. About half the pool is 3-4 feet deep. No amenities - bring your own chair if you want one!

Attended a Kwanzaa celebration there.The event was awesome with Mama Arifah Salaam, family and friends!And they have a Boxing Gym!

Community involved facility...Staff is resourceful... programs are very good. Very good pool, boxing and basketball operations with a fitness department and computer lab. This center has always been well operated..

Went to Boxing Gym and trainer in charge wanted $30 for workout. Cost $40. a month. THIEF.. NO STARS

Nice rec center. Good basketball courts. Could use some clean up.

The space was very big, its great to host parties and events. They provide tables and chairs, you have to clean up after your selves and it cost 300$ to rent the space.

Its a nice playground the kids can play you can sit in the shade trees and enjoy yourself

My family has used this playground many years. Still good. Way too many weeds around childrens play area, with an old crackhead pulling one weed per day then talking about it! Summer 2017

If you loves forcing your children does to go to Kingsessing recreational center they have lots of different sports for the children and also have lots of different programs for the adults, homework programs also

2 sum it all up they need sum order & communication skills O & they really need a supervisor thats active & that care about all the childrens activities.... They also need a good cleaning n the bathrooms cuz theyre atrochious. Its time 2 bring out the partition. & vote 4 a new & improved Person 2 run the rec right. Like it was when I was growing up U no the saying It Takes A Village

Narcotics anonymous meetings there are good but you have to make the NA meeting count!!!!

They have a lot of great classes, basketball, lacrosse, boxing, karate, Princess In Bloom, Bravohood, Quintessence, fitness classes, computer lab and so much more.

Needs a lot of grounds keeping. My kids and i got lost in the grass. Overgrown is an understatement, it was clean of trash though so maybe somebody was on vacay and didnt return yet.

It is open during the week the children are there participating in sports and other activity, there is always an Adult around the Recreation Center and it can use some paint it is an old building.
