Just in terms of the Bowling aspect, it was great and unique. Ive never been to a bowling alley that is this dark but it was a unique experience. I went at about 2pm and it was COMPLETELY empty for the entire hour I was there. The prices are fair, on average with other bowling alleys. The only thing that could have been improved in my opinion was the customer service. But definitely a fun place to go with friend and family, COOL environment.
That’s where I usually spend my weekends, I like the vibes and everything is just perfect, I’m rating 4 stars because after 9:30 is only for 21+ and it’s a bit overpriced comparing to the other bowling places but the vibes worth the money!!
A cool change of pace if youre out in the city and want to change it up. The bowling is a bit on the pricier side but their small selection of arcade games is pretty epic to say the least. Beer and bowling- whats not to like?
Aside from the fact that they placed our group with very young children in a shared lane with an adult group that was drinking, we had a very good time. The chicken tenders were overcooked, but the filet sliders, onion rings, and fries were very tasty. Not an idea place for young children (dimly lit, close quarters with other lanes) but our girls did enjoy themselves. All of the staff were nice, attentive, and patient . Will definitely go back for a date night
Had a company event here, so cant comment on pricing. Great location for a larger group: table tennis, billiards and of course bowling are located across several floors to allow for a ton of people. Full bar and decent food. Overall good atmosphere.
Staff is great and the beer/appetizer prices are reasonable. Great place for a group night out.
We had a horrible experience at the bar we kept asking to see a manager. No one came until I called the front desk on my cell phone. We ordered food and it took 45 min to get nachos and our burger never made it out of the kitchen. Need to see better team work and leadership.
Ive been going to Lucky Strike for a league for a while and causally as well. Their main menu is pricey, at least for drinks, but the atmosphere is nice, their rates for pool tables and late night bowling are pretty reasonable, and if youre lucky they might have table service when youre there (it really varies in my experience).
Really nice place to bowl and have parties. They have flat scenes on top of the pins nice lounge sofas n a bar.
Ridiculously pretentious staff...you work at a glorified bowling franchise, calm down. But Layout and design is commendable. Lighting is great as well.
Check in was good. Lane stopped working, waited at least 20 minutes before before it was looked at and 10 more minutes before we were moved to another lane. Also had to move unused balls that were left on the returns to the outer racks which should have been put back properly before we got there. Also needs a decor refresh.
Drafts beers were not that cold. Ordered some food, it was good but took them long to serve. Balls just happened to go sideways in the bowling lane.
Fun packed place. Food is awesome. We been there for a Holiday Lunch party and enjoyed to the fullest. They have Bowling, pool table, TT there.
We had a great time. Good food, great music and bowling was fun too.
Good drinks, well kept lanes, good mix of music. Youll enjoy yourself, Im sure.
I love this place, my husband and I go every other weekend .. I think all adults should go here .. and the bartenders are excellent ..
Me and my husband come here to bowl every other weekend and we always enjoy ourselves
Good atmosphere, plenty of lanes, and friendly staff. The food and drink menus are also plentiful, although sometimes on a pricey side. Highly recommend weeknights from 9-12pm when they have unlimited bowling for $15.
It was a fun experience, the staff is of satisfactory. Our ball returner got stuck while playing our game, however that was an easy fix.
What a great surprise! Stopped in before a ball game. Cheap bowling, cool atmosphere (couches and coffee tables!), excellent service from Madison. Highly recommend.
NEVER KNEW RHIS PLACE EXISTEDED TILL THE OTHER DAY SO GLAD I GOT TO COME HERE FOR MY FRIENDS 21ST BDAY THEY HAVE BOWLING, POLL, GIANT JENGA, GIANT PAC MAN BAR WITH ANYTHING YOU WANT PLUS BEER BONGS, AND FULL SIZE POOL TABLES AND BOWLING ALLY ITS A LITTLE ORICEY FOR ALCOHOL BUT FOR THE ATMOSPHERE ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT...HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS WE DID
I love Lucky Strike. Great staff and food. The cheese steak rolls are the best in Center City!!!
Great place to cut loose fun, food and drinks. Staff is AWESOME
Horrible experience. Service was terrible but drinks were ok. Arrived and was informed of a 1hr-90 min wait for a lane. Sat down ate and drank and watched the entire 3hr sixers game and still didn’t receive a lane. Asked to speak to a manager and one never arrived. Then was lied to twice about the wait. Was over it at that point. Complete waste of time. If your looking for the same experience with better professionalism go to north bowl or south bowl. You will not be disappointed there. Won’t come back again after tonight.
Good price for bowling especially at the centre of the city. 25 bucks for a game for two. 6 bucks beer. Restrooms were clean on a friday. This is all you guys need to know. Staff was ok or would have given 5 star.
I liked it but i dont know how i felt about sharing that one space with all the people that were there before my party got there. In other words, more seating/ separate seating for the lanes would be nice. Overall though i had a great time
Wonderful bowling alley hidden in the Center City. Its quite expensive if youre the sole payer, but the price kind of evens out in a group of 4 or more. Come fed; food and driks are expensive too, though I recommend nacho shareable (I got it vegetarian with guac and it was deeelish!)Staff is nice, but rather busy with the crowd. They accept lane reservations online, do that to save time!Happy bowling!!
A great place for a family outing in the early hours. Neat games that are oversized for fun.
So last night they decided to host a party that they obviously weren’t equipped to handle. My friends and I waited at the bar for 25 minutes and never got a drink. We had to go to another floor, but that experience wasn’t any better. We waited another 10 minutes where we watched the bartender take people that came after us. When she finally took our order, we paid and her register “broke”. We had to wait another 15 minutes for our change.. which was incorrect. The bartender got an attitude because she didn’t give us the correct change and we made a fuss. She was very unprofessional. We basically missed a lot of the party waiting for a drink. It was a mess and so unorganized.
Service was horrible we finished bowling b4 our food came managers were great gave us credit off but thats it the bartender Kam was amazing but overall I wont be back
I was in town on a layover and when i paid they took my debit card and never gave it back. When I was handed my receipt i asked for my card. And they said they dont know where it is. After 30 minutes they couldnt find it and I needed to cancel my card. However, they called me the next day to tell me they found it. Which does me no good because its already canceled and Im already out of the state! How do you charge a card and not keep it with the receipt. My seat was right next to the machine!!!! Im on a business trip and have to fly around without my card because who knows what they where doing that the card magically vanished and then suddenly reappeared the next day. I was there Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty. The white Russian was not worth the hassle!!!
Been here a few times now. Its a fun place for bowling/playing games but do not eat here. It is extremely expensive! $15 just for chicken fingers (no fries included). Theyre very good but Im not sure why it is priced so high.
This is a very nice place to hangout with friends. Food is also very nice. We had a very good time here...
It was good however if youre looking to bowl and drink the waitress was around one time then dissapeared. Other than that bowling was good.
The service was super slow. I order 2 drink it took about a half hour for them to bring them back. By time the food came it was closed. All the bowling lanes are warped, so when you roll the bowling ball it curves into the gutter. Terrible experience smh...
They were very attentive to the needs of my group. Laid back and chilled atmosphere. The time we were there was perfect.
Lucky strike Philly is s great spot if youre looking to bowl and/or eat and drink. Being as though the venue is downtown parking may be a bit of a hassle but, I usually just catch the train in so it hasnt been a bother for me personally. Prices are reasonable in my opinion. Most recently Ive stopped by on a Saturday (St. Patricks day weekend) afternoon for a game and paid $21 for a game and the rental of two pairs of shoes. I dont bowl too often but, from what I can remember those prices are fairly standard. Drinks were also reasonably priced. I dont remember the exact split but, I bought a beer and a cocktail which came out to a total of $13. Not bad at all. Ill have to try the food next time. The menu looked decent but, there are a million places to eat in Philly so I opted for another. In addition to bowling there are also a couple pool tables, air hockey, dart boards and a few interactive games that you can take part in if youre so inclined to do so. Try and make your reservations well ahead of time because time slots tend to fill up quickly, which can lead to you waiting about an hour or two depending on when you go. All in all my experiences have been great so Id definitely recommend that you stop by if youre in the area and need a bowling fix.
Thank you so much to Lucky Strike for the smart decision of hiring Ceyla. She was amazing!!! I probably went up to that bar 10 different times for those bottomless mimosas. Thank you for such great service. You made our painting experience 100x better cant wait for the next time we visit Philly. Definitely will be coming back.
A reasonably fun place to kick of the evening. Tonight they had tater tots, so thats an automatic win in my book
Pretty overpriced with a high food/drink minimum. If you want to spend some money for a large party and are ok with a loud club environment this place seems fine. If you just want to bowl though youre better off elsewhere.
Fun place. We were there for a corporate party. Food was good.
Ive been numerous times and this last time I got the feeling of a run down and neglected establishment. Service was horrendous, it would be quicker to walk to the bar and order your own beers off of one of the worst beer menus Ive seen in this city. Trying to find a ball of the right weight and size wasnt easy. In the past I remember all of the ball racks being full, maybe people have been stealing bowling balls?
Nice lanes and we saw @podcastbols there!
Ive only been here once and probably will never go again, but just not my kind of place. I could see people liking this kind of establishment. Upscale bowling alley, which is alright if thats what youre into. However, pool tables are wack because of the black felt which makes it extra difficult to see the other side of the table when shooting. The service at the bar was alright and friendly, but the whole place is a little too big and too loud for my taste. I only ordered drinks which were mediocre, but the food menu did look alright. I might have ordered food if I could have figured out if any of the wait staff were serving the pool table area, but all of them oddly avoided eye contact as if they were afraid to help anyone outside of their section.
Clean facilities, great customer service and reasonable pricing. We came as part of a 10 person party. We paid roughly $58 each for a 2 hour all-inclusive (except alcohol) bowling get together. We were pleasantly surprised by the quick service (servers name was Josie) and the food which all tasted good.
$94 per hour per lane...!!! Ridiculous. The new lanes at The Fashion District (the old Gallery)... Much cheaper and brand new!
Great beers and food follow my on instagram @_xtacee_money
Good place to bowl. The food is good
Had a group there to celebrate a birthday party. We had four lanes and catered food and drinks. It was a very good experience. The bowling was fun, the food is plentiful, and the service was great too. Definitely a nice place to go for group to have a fun time.
M y family had a nice time here. Our server was very nice and responsive. Food was nice. It will be our go to spot from now on.
Good option for company parties, bowling/ping-pong, good food
Nice place. Fun activities. Friendly staff. Good food.
I really enjoyed my time there
Good beers, for a bowling alley. Decent facility.
Clean friendly staff great place to meet n have fun
Showed up for bowling on a Thursday night and turns out it was salsa night! Great atmosphere and decent prices. Drinking and bowling makes for some great laughs and good memories!
I liked it. Food is good too.
Small bowling alley, bar, and some pools tables. It is in the heart of the city of Philadelphia. Great for small group and meetups. The atmosphere good, food is not my favorite, and drinks are average price for the area. Also note there is very limited parking, so take a taxi or public transportation.
Fun family place and Great tasing food!
Pretty good place, great atmosphere nice bar. Good prices. Way more affordable than i expected.
Arrive to Phili late...all eateries were packed and this was a great place to grab beers and a bite. Fun atmosphere
We went here for a corporate event and had a blast. The food was delicious and they kept refilling. The staff was very helpful and made this event a success. Our party was about 30 people.
I’ve been wanting to go forever. Finally made it there with some friends. Really cool place- we had a lot of fun! The food was so good. Highlights were the PERFECT amount of spice in my chicken quesadilla and I discovered a BlackBerry Basil Mule- TRY IT. Server Jay was on point.- Available but not intrusive. I’ll go back.
I went there for an Eastern Regional Summit social hour. I guess by the name I should have known it was a bowling alley, but didnt realize it was going to have other aspects as well. The atmosphere was fun, but for some reason nobody wanted to get us drinks? They have a rule that if you start a tab at the bar, but end up sitting down at one of the tables, you have to open up multiple tabs. I think I had three tabs open because they didnt want to add it to my already existing tab. I would say they need to work on their communication a little better, and possibly explain why that is so that customers like me arent confused or even more upset than we should be because it seems like they just dont want to help us out.
I joined a bowling league there which was great because I got to meet new people. I bought a burger with fries for $14, which I thought was pricey. I didnt get a lot of fries and the burger wasnt that big.
During my experience, I was served by a tall blonde hair man. I think his name was Aaron ??? Great service and the drinks were great. Awesome guy!
I just want to say me and my husband had an amazing time on Friday night. Latesha was great she told us about bottomless bowling and suggested we come back on the weekdays, we did come back on Tuesday night with some friends and was extremely surprised wen we came in and she remembered our face. Thank you and we will be back
A split! A strike! A gutter ball =( ... You will have a bowl with your pals at this downtown alley!
Been waiting for a hour for food order. They gave us vouchers for bowling to make up for it. At this point should be free meal. Don’t come here. Still waiting.
Had a ball wish they would play good music a so we can hear it
Place is spacious with reasonable prices.Good atmosphere.Loved the big connect four games.
The music was a mix of pop and hip hop. The good was good. Definitely better than expected, I had the BBQ chicken pizza. Now when it comes to the prices...everything is really pricey but it is a good time. Btw when you pay $65 for a lane on a Saturday night it is only for a hour. There is no extra time. Shoe rental is $4.50. The prices are the only reason Im not giving 5 stars but hey its in center city so it is expected.
Sooo much fun and great atmosphere
Great atmosphere. Server and bartender was great.
Bowling lanes in the heart if the city! Good atmosphere with food and bar service. There are look tables as well as bowling so something for everyone, a great venue for gatherings though the food was okay, not fantastic. If they improved the food this would be a first class place.
Great shrimps w bacon!
I really liked the place and enjoyed the atmosphere. Not overly crowded and very comfortable. However the ladies at the front desk was very rude and dressed it up with a very fake sarcastic smile. So that helped them loose the first star, the second star was loist cause the good was nasty we ordered hot wings n waffle and they bought us hot wings with what seemed to be real thick pieces of French toast or pound cake, with syrup.
Amazingly fantastic I had a great time
Went here for my job Christmas party & it was Awesome! Staff was excellent, service was on point, food pretty good!! Overall excellent experienceit!! Definitely recommend for a good time!
Really fun place for bowling and the staff is super nice. It would easily be a 5-star place. The problem lies with the lane booking system: either wait for 3 hours or put down a significant non-refundable deposit. They definitely need to brainstorm a better system for groups of 4 or more.
I was here for a party. The staff was prompt and courteous, and the food was great.
Great service and tons of fun.
First time going in there... glad they have 2 floors for bowling
Aarin really had me and my friends calling eachother the wrong names. A night to remember! He reminded me of my family because he was so nice to all the woman. Cool! He’s so great!
