Been to this casino before but don’t understand what’s going on. I was playing a machine for quite a while and hit a few bonuses which was great. Then someone came playing next to me and I lost hundreds and they kept winning back to back and constant bonuses free spins etc. This casino is definitely rigged and I rather go to the one I’m used to.Also, why don’t the reels do one full rotation? You will definitely loose quite a bit of your money.Also they have vending machines that serve drinks but don’t try to bring them inside. Wasted more money.

Definitely a different feel going to the casino during this Pandemic season. . But you can still manage to have a good time. Seating is obviously limited more then usual. Pretty much 3 people per table i think is what I seen. Staff entering establishment are pretty nice and friendly. They have hand sanitizer available pretty much everywhere.

They need more dealers, especially for lower minimums.There was some disinfecting but would like to see more of it.The first time I walked in, they asked for my ID. They make you take your mask down which is really dumb and then put it through a machine for 30 seconds. Its embarrassing as you are holding up the line and everyone is looking at you.We left and after we came back they put me through the entire ID process even after I had a rewards card with me. Never had a casino make me take my mask off at AC. Also never had a casino put my ID through a machine. Needed a better intake process

I dont stay long anymore because, theyve taken away all the excitement of it. I miss the VIP section/dinners, being able to order & drink alcohol while gambling. I miss eating there as well. With absolutely nothing to offer but, gambling its not very exciting to me at all. I definitely dont like that I cant smoke anymore while I gamble & enjoy a nice drink. Its just something to do to pass a little time now when Im extra bored.

Was there for very first time on very early Saturday morning. It was very fun time. I do understand the whole COVID-19 situation has things so crazy however not being allowed to have drinks of any kind was almost unbearable. Especially having to understanding to wear masks, but what about those of us who suffer from dry mouth due to side effects of prescribed medications. Had to cut our visit short due to that. Otherwise highly recommend it.

Nice restaurants and atmosphere. I havent had the pleasure of playing the tables yet. I recommend this establishment for a quick excursion.

I have been here many times pretty decent casino mostly clean I do have to say it is in the middle of the city and some of the people who go there to gamble arent the nicest or cleanest. There are a couple more casinos in the area that I would probably go to first Rivers is my last resort but very close to center City.

This casino is cheating !! I was there last Thursday on October 22nd around 9.03 PM EST with $3 bet playing buffalo, after been playing for about 2 hours I finally hit the free spin . Long story short, I have been doing really great and I thought I was going to hit the jackpot BUT not after the Machine suddenly being interrupted by the insider or the operator - the screen went pause and blank saying “ RESET IN PROGRESS “in the middle of the excitement of the free spin and I noticed the letters said on the screen “bottom door open “ ! My friend and I completely We were completely shocked because of the reverse spin !! Please advice Rivers casino management, I have never experienced like this before, totally absurd, very disappointing experience!

Terrible experience. No food, no soft drinks, no alcoholic drinks, can’t smoke, the minimum for every slot machine is $5 minimum for the slot machines. I mean I understand we’re in a pandemic but several places, in my opinion are handling this way better. And the best customer service came from the security guard at the door, not even a casino employee. And the with all the “precautions” that they’re taking, the machines were still dirty, with sticky buttons... It’s pretty though :)

I did like going to Rivers, quality dealers. But you now have to show a drivers license to get in. While I dont mind showing my drivers license. What I disagree with is they scan it and save the information. Just another way for them to sell our data.I did leave because of this and went to Parx.

The worse casino to play in Pa . Below negative 0 stars. The casino cheats online in Live blackjack and slots, and on floor . So stay away from this house!!! You do not come out winning . Please change the station. We are in Philadelphia, not Bensalem. Also, pay someone on the slots once in a while. You guys arent paying anyone out unless theyre on the tables. I truly think the slots machines are fixed.

Covid restrictions hamper the poker room but 99% of the staff are amazing but the 1% can ruin it if they arent careful. Would definitely go here again and just hope I dont have to rely on those 1% again.

Definitely like this place. They have a phenomenal poker room with hourly high hands as well as a bad beat jackpot. The slots pay out well also. Iv hit a few jackpots here and so has my girlfriend. They don’t have a hotel which is a downfall. Their food places are decent. Iv never tried the higher end ones tho. Their rewards program could use some help also because other casinos have much better incentives.

All the table full .. You can really enjoy yourself, losing money, cant eat, drink, or smoke. Will not go back till every thing chance.. Let us gamble out side..

There are too many reasons to list why this casino has the lowest rating of any around.....just trust they have earned every poor rating. My visit started with one of their employees, in a red Nissan Maxima, running the traffic light at the entrance and almost took out the front of my car. They then sped to the employee parking garage, in front of a security guard. I stopped to place a complaint with the same security guard who replied, “yeah, they do that sometimes”. It ended when I realized they had zero customer services open. Didn’t make it longer than 30 minutes before leaving.

They did a great job in making the casino very covid Safe. Friday nights are very crowded. Its hard to earn free play after the first spin that they give You. They dont have the best payouts but they have a nice variety of games to choose from.

First of all they gotta be the cleanest slot machines ever!..they literally sparkle..Reflective iof the professional is that is apparent throughout at first thought the staff.in particular the security.were being a bit overzealous on their duties...Thats not the case at all.its more Due Dligence that is necessary to ensure a safe haven for adults like me twho happen to enjoy themselves by acingt like ta rebellious foolish teenager i just simply need to be every now and then....If you get what im sayin then Rivers is the place you need to be.....sure do miss the cocktail servers. They are definitely following protocol as far as being safe during the pandemic, however their machines aren’t paying anything... No free games and they say you have free play money but it stays at $2.75 ... I have to say I done better at the PARX...

Not many people in the casino playing anything really the tables were empty and few people at the slots but it was nice took daughter for her first time she like it but wasn’t really impressed didn’t see anyone giving out drinks and bar was closed so it’s different COVID has changed a lot of things

We were in the 2nd floor auditorium for a birthday party and ventured into the downstairs casino looking for something to eat. Neither of us are gamblers but the casino looked pleasant. The fried chicken from crunchy chicken was very good.

Warning, before you wager a dime at Sugarhouse online you must be certain that they have your bank listed to make a withdrawal if you win. They will take your money to deposit without a blink. If and when you win and want to get your money back, they make it extremely difficult and time consuming to get paid. My bank was not one listed; so I asked for a check for the $650. They then made me photograph and send drivers license and both sides of credit card. It has been now 17 days and still no check. They have their button flashing to cancel the withdrawal to give the winnings back. Once I get my money, I will not be using their site again. Emails asking where the check is and no response as of today. Update: It took 20 days to get a winnings check.

Been going there since the Sugarhouse then one day all if a sudden I need ID to get into the Rivers I am 56 years old, and the guard told me dont feel bad we turned away a guy 90 years old.

When this place first opened I found it pretty scary. I just stopped in again and was surprised by how nice the poker room is. Still lots of strange birds hopping around, but I would go back. The food at Mian was fantastic (and open really late).

The casino was ok, but dont go to Jack bar and grill. I had 3 mixed drinks and it tastes like water. The beer was hot, and to me the prices was to high. When I go to a bar, I want to enjoy the drink and be happy. But I was not, and Jack bar and grill suck! Maybe in 6 months I will try them again.

Sugar House is a great casino. I went there for a Queen Celebration concert and the venue is small and very accommodating. The staff assisting guests were courteous and quite friendly. Any questions asked were immediately answered. The bar set up near the event area was reasonably priced. The bartender gave me bottles of water free and decent size soft drinks were only $3. Thats never happened at any event Ive gone to, let alone one at a casino. I did not gamble but the casino floor looked clean and nothing was cramped together. There are restaurants available but I went to a small area of eateries. They have Genos Steaks and The Marketplace with chicken and burgers and soft pretzels, etc. A pizza place is on one side with HUGE pizzas and they even have donuts and sweets for sale. A small bar is in the middle. The seating area is a nice size but, if the casino gets packed, there may be a wait before you can sit down. Garage parking is free and valet is available for a small fee. The garage can be hard to navigate but markers for where you park are all over. The parking lot is also easy to follow. The casino is on a main road so entering and exiting was no problem.

Most of the machines buttons are broken. You barely get a drink in there if youre playing slots, they only focus on table games. Bring your own water soda or coffee youre going to be thirsty if you dont. (Photos are Some of the winners Ive walked past during my visit).

Went to Sugarhouse for a pop up event for crafts. It was confusing because we thought there was only a small hallway with crafters but luckily we kept exploring because low and behold there was a huge room filled with crafters yet there was no signage or anything indicating where they were located.After we decided to do a little gambling and went looking for .25 or $1 slot machines. After walking passed banks and banks of .01 slots we almost gave up and left (the cigarette smoke was horrible) when we stumbled upon $1 machines and played. We never were offered a drink whether complimentary or not.

I came to the casino not to gamble but to attend the Minds IRL event on August 31st. And I would like to thank the casino for accepting the event after the Broadway Theater of Pitman, NJ backed out.The staff was nice. The food the casino sold was good. Decided to give gambling a try over the course of a few days. Despite the fact that its supposed to be random, there appears to be a consistent pattern with those computerized roulette machines. You win a marginal sum one set before rolling a string of zeros on the next with a 3-5 percent occurrence displayed on the screen. You can also strategically bet to reduce losses on spins and it consistently yields the result with the most money being lost despite betting on most of the table, and thats right before the 0 strings, even with prior 0 results already on the display. But hey maybe that game isnt for me or gambling in general. At least the casino looks nice.

Absolutely horrible service. Went to the casino with friends visiting from out of state. They came in late on Saturday but figured we wanted to get out of the house for a little. Decided to go to Rivers because it is open later than bars would be open (+ we all like to gamble). The drink servers at the tables were horrible so I decided to head to the bar and grab a round. I posted up at the (mostly empty) bar and had my credit card in hand and made eye contact with the bartenders (Did not want to be pushy or rude so I just waited my turn). The bartender served 3 separate men before me to which I was started to get a little annoyed so I went to a different location at the bar so hopefully get her attention. There were 5 other bartenders supposedly “off duty”. I walked over to them and tried to place my drink order. They responded “Sorry we are off duty and it’s 2:02 so we can’t serve you”. I had told them that I had been waiting for 20+ minutes at the bar and they said “Yeah we saw you. Sorry about that. You can always come back tomorrow” Normally not one to complain but was just so unbelievably frustrated at the horrible and poor service.

Not a bad little local casino. Staff is relatively friendly and helpful. If your point of comparison is Las Vegas, then dont expect either the same size or staff service. There is easy and convenient free parking -- be careful, two cars were trying to exit a parking level in the entrance lane. This suggests either the drivers didnt look, or theres poor signage.

Ive been a slot play my entire life. Sugar house is the closest from my south jersey home. I can never give a company a 1 star rating because they are a business. Playing alot machines at this casino is frustrating not because I have lost because I have won thousands at this casino but every 3 out of 4 machines have an issue with their buttons. They are always broke for months and months they never fix them. When I actually told a supervisor he looked at me like I had 2 heads. Also there has been multiply times Ive been followed and confronted trying to get my $. One night 6 security guards were chasing someone and he slammed right into when I was playing a $5 slot machine. Not one person asked if I was ok and told be to step away. I just said yea Im ok dont worry too much. Broken slots are frustrating.

The sugar House is great for office parties! this was our third year having our Christmas party at the SugarHouse casino and its always been wonderful. The food is absolutely top-notch. The wait staff is attentative; they never left the buffet run out of food. plus they always try to accommodate you if you have any special little request. I love it there! And its one of the few places you can go to have a party in town where the party is absolutely free. At other times weve had parties there they give you a $10 voucher to go play the machines afterwards. We didnt do that this time but we still had a blast!

The people are nice,and attentive.The manager Shawn that works in the pizza and steak and the little shops in the back p is extremely nice.. I give him by his self 5*

Absolutely horrible! It has nothing to do with the fact that I won absolutely anything but the smoking in this place is horrible. I thought they had confined areas for those who smoke. They werent cracking down on it all. Every where you turn someone had a cigarette lit. Even in places where clear as day it said no smoking. Come on! Please please designate one particular are for those smokers. People dont want to go home with clothes and hair smelling like a tobacco factory. Enforce the rules.
