Got the best piece today and the guy was really nice. Had marked down a $280 piece to $160 and I am extremely satisfied, plus for free he threw in a matt for it to rest on so it doesn’t break (I explained to him that’s how my last piece broke).

I was initially excited about ordering from your site, products look of quality, and so on. However, I’m leaving merely a 2 star review for the fact that I paid for expedited shipping, and more than a week later at this point, my product has yet to leave the state. No attempt was made to refund the extra shipping costs, and here I am still unsure of why my package is bouncing all over the state of PA rather than being on my doorstep. And next time btw, please don’t text me telling me to leave a Bad review on USPS’s website rather than your own- you are the company I ordered through, so ultimately, it’s your job to provide excellent customer service and makes things right.

Easily the most helpful glass shop Ive been to on South Street. A very nice selection with some amazing glass art in the back and well-priced pieces in the front. They ended up cutting me a pretty solid deal and Im more than happy. Also, the free mat they threw in was a nice little bonus. Thanks again!

As usual with these one star reviews I would give zero stars if possible. I went in last night to return an unopened pen I had just bought the same day. The guy (I believe he is a manager (although you wouldnt know it based on his customer service skills)) sold me 2 pens. One of the pens he sold me was already open and used. The manager proceeds to tell me that they do not take returns at all. I said, Even on unopened items? I understand this policy typically speaking but there is an exception to every rule; and when you sell people defective, opened, and/or used merchandise I would say this is a valid reason for a return. However, even though this was the fault of the business, I had a receipt from the same day, and the package was unopened, I was still refused. I will not be shopping here ever again. Arrogant and rude staff, not helpful at all, and not even very knowledgeable about what they are talking about. You might as well just blindly order something offline because if youre looking for information, you wont find it here. Matchbox is only out for your money and a sale, not your actual satisfaction. There are a ton of other head shops on South St. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else, like Nebu Philly down the street.

Best glass gallery and shop in Philadelphia in my opinion. Been numerous times, bought numerous items, and every time it’s an extremely pleasant expirience. South st is crowded with cheap head shops, Matchbox clearly stands out from all the others with clean displays, polite and friendly staff, and great prices. My go to glass shop and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

4 stars only because it seems unfair to give it 5 because Im not a frequent customer. Ive gone here 4-5 times and I love that they dont pressure you to buy things. I asked about vaporizers and they gave me a lot of info. I told them I wanted to keep looking around and instead of trying to push harder to sell it to me, they suggested checking around and reading reviews online. If I cant find a product I like better, Ill be going back to get that one for sure. Customer service as it should be.

I was just there ready to spend $200-300. I stood in front of a case for 5 minutes and after being ignored I will now be going to Munchies. Terrible customer service. I never felt so awkward when I was very ready to spend money today!! There were only 2 guys in the shop when I was there, not sure if both employees? But I was the only one there actively looking at items in the cases.

Horrible, rude manager. He would not return defective merchandise. He insisted that none of his products EVER have a problem and it must be us, and ever so nicely suggested we didnt know what we were doing or what we were talking about. He also kept going on about how he couldnt return it because it was used (we couldnt even use it because it never worked). All we wanted was to exchange it for working merchandise, and he absolutely refused.Your shops are a dime a dozen on your street. You just lost regulars.

I’ve never visited your store, but that’s not a problem for Google Maps Reviews because Google allows anyone, even if they’re not a “customer” to write a bogus ‘review’ of your business…even if it is just uniformed abuse.I’m sorry that you too have been victim of the “wrath” of Jonathan Downie. He likes to walk into small independent stores and if he’s not given undivided attention he gets mad, really mad. No hope of serving a genuine customer when Downie is in town. The problem is that Downie is a vindictive entitled abuser. If you respond to what he has written, he’ll telephone (internationally) and call you “a f****** a**hole”, he’ll also follow up with threatening emails containing similar language and declaring he’ll “ruin your business”. Let face it he’s the problem. And so is Google Reviews. They endorse him and reward him with points and feedback.which is especially offensive to me.

Ronny & Bobby (I may be spelling their name incorrectly lol) were great at selling their products at a very GOOD price. I bought my hookah set there and they actually helped me out with which one I wanted. They have starbuz shisha and also Alfahker. They have the quick light coals and coconut ones too, which was a good deal. Anyways overall GOOD PRICE AND GOOD PEOPLE.
