Me and my family came here for the first time from Jamaica and Chicago and the experience was horrible. We paid our entry fee of $30 dollars each and proceeded to go to the bar. We were then told that the bar is closed. Since we are not from Philly we had no idea the bar closes at 2 since the club closed at 5 am. We walked back to the cashier and asked for a refund since we came from far to enjoy our night life. They refused to acknowledge us and then we asked to speak to management. It took about a half hour for the manager to speak to us just to say he will not issue any refund or even a partial refund. This is absurd! Yes we are aware that this is a gentlemans club, however we wanted to have an alcoholic beverage as well. Onyx nightclub is a joke and the management is unprofessional to tourists! We will never return!

I had a fun time and the girls are fun but one of them gave me incorrect change for my $30 & wouldnt answer me when I asked her about it before she walked away. I understand that lap dances obviously cost money, but the price should be told beforehand. My friend got suckered out of $25 for a lap dance she didnt ask for. Thats ridiculous, and I probably wont be coming back anytime soon.

Overated. For a $30 cover i expected a lot more than what was out there. The bartenders cant make drinks and get pissy when you question them. I give the bouncers 4 stars they were cool.

Worst club experience ever. Very nasty security & staff. Bathrooms are small & filthy. Strippers are lazy. If youre coming from out of town looking for a decent night club do not waste your time or money at Club Onyx Philly. As much as they promote this club youll think itll be what its heavily hype up to be, however such is not the case. Never again.

Terrible. They had maybe 4 strippers total. The DJ sucked!! DJ Ace...ruined everyones night with his terrible spinning. Nobody strips to Dipset, bozo. Also, the stage looks greasy. Chicken wings were pretty good, so theres ya one star. Do yourself a favor & goto Vanity or anywhere else but here

Club onyx is just inconvenient& straight up greedy. $20 for parking in the front&$10 on the sides even if there’s no cars there on a Tuesday night. Ghetto& trashy atmosphere&clientele, not a bit of class. Don’t let the outside fool you lol throw the whole club away

Do not go here! Each time that I have used my card at the bar a few days later mysterious charges are charged to my card. This has happened to me and a few other people that I know! A club full of scammers

I called and messaged the club about having my birthday party on Sunday 12/17 (my bday is 12/18) with a VIP section. In a fb message, I was told to leave my phone number and someone would contact me. When I received the phone call, i explained my wishes to the gentleman with whom I was speaking. He stated that I would receive a letter and invitations in the mail. I received a letter two days later with 10 invitations. The letter explained to me what I would be receiving for my birthday party. Nothing I asked for was on the letter! They even had the day of the week messed up (I asked for a party on a Sunday night n they gave me Friday night). When I called both of the numbers on the letter, I left a message on each. Neither of my phone calls were returned.... So on the night of my party, I was entitled to nothing. On top of my guests having to pay $20 (its not the money, its the principle), I had a horrible panic attack and the ladies at the front couldnt have cared less. The way this place conducts business is horrific. Ive had several birthday parties at onyx, so being treated like this was unexpected. I may return and change my rating once its under new management. hopefully, that will be soon.... happy 35th birthday to me

After 2am they make you pour your champagne into a juice glass no seriously... go to vanity grand instead..

It was OK! Food was high! Drinks was high!.... if you smoke dont bring ya weed the goin take it.... if u leave u gotta pay the same price u paid to get in Wich is 20. The strippers were nice though. Its just unfortunate that my first and last time here was horrible.... thanks for piping up onyx

I won a free party for my birthday and was told Id receive a free bottle VIP table and 10.00 before 11. Welllllll I got to onxy on time and had to wait in line for 30 minutes . They should have a special line for VIP members. So when my party finally got in it was 20 instead of 10.then a free bottle that I was supposed to receive was a complimentary bottle of Sutter home wine smh!!!and then a VIP table I was supposed to receive was a bunch of chairsand they say just sit wherever you want.then we went to the bar to order a drink and there was no bartender and then one finally came up and she just looked at us like we were crazy.so I proceeded to say something to the bouncer and he was rude!!! He told me that the manager was walking up in a bouncer was talking to the manager and never told the manager I needed to speak to him.and when I said something to the bouncer the bouncers it while he was standing there you didnt say nothing.The whole experience was unprofessional and rude and I will never be back there again I think they are scam artists that promote one thing and do another and thats not business.

Never been my daughter and nieces and nephews went they have thieves in there and they dont care the security sucks all this money they making but they cant beef up security or get cameras so when ppl do take ppl stuff u can find out who smh....
