Nice little hiking trail, not too strenuous, but there are some stairs and inclines. Nice ridge walk, lots of river crossings.

This park has great hiking trails. It is well maintained. Robinson Park is a peaceful place to escape the city North of Peoria on Knoxville Ave./Rt. 40. They have a small swing set. There is a moderately size pavilion with picnic tables. It is available for event rental.

One of the great advantages of living in Peoria is hiking the river bluffs. Fall is especially beautiful with all the leaves putting on a show. These trails are well maintained and easy to follow. After a good rain it can be a bit muddy but this is a small price to pay for so much beauty.

One of the more difficult runs I have done in years. The trail is easy to follow dispite the extreme changes in elevation. I will be running this multiple times in the future.

Robinson is a great place to hike and picnic! There are multiple different trail heads, 2 parking lots, welp marked maps and the trails are always cleared. Pets are also allowed here so I love going with my pooch!

Very nice park tucked away in Peoria with some lovely trails which include enough hills to give a good workout! Know that the trails are across the street from the parking lot and I didnt see any maps posted. There is a short paved path and small playground near the parking lot. Also not that there are 2 parking lots so if you are meeting people you need to specify. I plan to definitely go again!

Nice park with some trails having hills and some on flat. Could use some better signage to identify trails on the south side of the road.

Love hiking these trails. Created and kept up by local boy scout troops. They have built multiple bridges, and you can take pets here which is a great find in Peoria!

If you plan on going on a hike for really long distances with dense forest or tree cover around you, this is the trail for you. One can almost spend the whole day here. Much more Wilder(denser) than the Forest Park nature center. There is a rest area/cabin sort of thing after almost 4 miles may be in one direction too. Perfect spot to hike all day.

Tipical American park, a lot of green space, trees and a small playground with not too much to do for kids. This park only has some swings so its better for walking your dog than for taking your kids. It does have a huge pavilion for BBQ parties. It has bathrooms and its well maintained.

A fun little park with some nice trails. The trails connect to Camp Wokanda in the North, and connect other parks heading south. This lets you have as much, or as little, trail time as you wish.

Some great, relatively new trails in the Peoria area. Much of the trail work has been completed as Eagle Scout projects. Very challenging, steep hilly ascents and descents to the south. That direction will take you eventually thru a tunnel under IL Route 6, through the old Green Valley Camp and to Detweiller Park. The Robinson trails to the north take you to the old Boy Scout Camp Wokanda (now part of the Peoria Park District). The Camp itself has some solid trails through and around its borders.Good hiking, running, birdwatching, and admiring the wildlife!

Good shelter area for gatherings! The trails can be overgrown at times and depending on the location there is the presence of sumac close to the footpath.

Robinson Park has a decent trail, the bridges are relatively new, trails are clearly marked, and looks as if the Boy Scouts have a project here to maintain the trails on a regular basis. Robinson Park trial is approximately 7 miles long with several hills and valleys, making it a good way to break a sweat. As for the scenery, there are several forms of wild life, including grey and fox squirrels, various birds, and on occasion a few white tail deer. However, if you are looking for a scenic view of the land; trees, the next ravine/hillside, and the occasional ruins of building foundations is all you will see. I rated this as a 4 star because even though it was well maintained in the sense of the trails, the overall cleanliness, and the random bits of what looks to be old rusted farm equipment were laying on the side of the trails prevented me from giving this a 5 star.
