GAR Hall

We attended a retirement celebration for a friend & had a nice time visiting with the retiree and friends. Their catered selection was tasty & healthy - salmon, veggies, shrimp, spinach dip, etc. Seating & tables were fine, but the acoustics are impossible for we who are hearing challenged. I wear hearing aids & some locations are just not friendly. This is one of them. Talking was OK close by, but the stage presentation was unintelligible. Sorry!

Beautiful and historic location. Lovely stained glass windows and a grand staircase. This would be a very elegant place for a wedding or fundraising event.

Nice rustic landmark. The cannons out front are very cool!

Its always clean and a very good place to get to know about Peorias history.
