Proctor Recreation Center

One of the most amazing community recreation centers in Peoria, including a pool, two gymnasiums, a weight room, a theatre stage, and Peorias African American Hall of Fame Museum. Great spot to rent out for events and usually buzzing with sports, recreational and community events.

Very kind and courteous staff there. Signed up my 4 yr old to play b-ball. Coaches, everybody there very helpful and welcoming as well. Highly recommend signing up your child for activities there. 5 Star!

The ppl are nuce and very helpful. Basketball for kids is wonderful. Coaches work very well with kids.

Went to my 5 year old grandsons soccer practice here. Its a beautiful park area. Has a great playground. The actual buildings are beautiful architecture.

This place is so fun. We went here to watch my little cousin play basketball and they had snacks for me to eat and everything.

Proctor has been a pillar of the community for a long time. Our family has had several birthday parties there and had such a great time. My children love to go skating there while attending the after school program. They offer tutoring and 4H programs to enrich the childrens learning. The staff truly care about the well being of the children and are very friendly.

My brother had his wedding reception there i havent been back inside Proctor 22yrs. I really enjoyed myself. It was still nice and clean inside, old memories of being a summer group leader

Great place from my childhood memories and even greater since they have updated it. But need to bring back adult baseball games and be open on Saturdays for kids.

Great community outreach center :) Excellent GED tutoring program. The building is an old school that has been outfitted for community use.
