First show in the Winter theatre and it was fantastic! Actors were mesmerizing with their passionate performances. Costumes were awesome. Show was 3.5 hours, but since it was great show, it didnt seem like it was 3.5 hrs. Highly recommend for a fun evening enjoying local talent!

I have always love the experience you get when going to live theater but Corn Stock takes it to the next level with the outdoor theater. They provide you with live, up close and personal stage productions with optional food before the shows with picnic tables so you can plan a whole night out in the park. Also during the colder months you can enjoy their indoor theater for edgier shows that arent normally done on a main stage.

Go see The Robber Bridegroom. Its a fast paced, funny, Blue Grass musical showcasing local talent. Settle into your chair, listen carefully for humorous lyrics and dialogue and get ready to laugh out loud. The on stage live band is a fun addition. Goat, Stepmother and The Talking Head are characters I wont soon forget.

We have had season tickets for about 10 years. The shows are usually entertaining. The actors, singers and dancers are very good, somewhat unexpected for local amateurs. The summer tent venue can be hot in midsummer and sometimes noisy if the cicadas are singing along with the show. There are occasional thunderstorms and tornado warnings. Access to seats in the tent can be problematic for those with mobility issues. Seat rows are close together and the seats are individual chairs. The sound system has occasional pops and dropouts. The winter indoor venue is much smaller and more intimate and puts on different types of shows. If you like live theater, give both venues a try.

Saw The Little Mermaid, Disneys stage version of the movie. It was well cast, directed & acted/sung. Ariel and Ursula were especially good. A bonus were the new food tents. We didnt have to wait until it was over to get supper after rushing there from work.

The tent can get close in the hottest months, and a bit shivery in early fall, but the view is always good. Winter Playhouse also does theatre in the round with a wonderful indoor setting. Great shows, good prices, wonderful community.

What a wonderful theatre! Newsies was the first show I have seen there and I saw it twice. We didnt know what to expect, we had no idea that we could purchase food prior to the show, this is good to know for next time! We will be back to enjoy another show. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We have seasons tickets and went to see Newsies. Fantastic fun show with over 100 people, mainly youth, in a high energy performance of singing and dancing. One of the best weve seen. Not a bad seat in this outdoor theater in the round

My personal favorite theatre in the area. The production quality is very high. Their is always a sense of community there and you feel right in place while watching an entertaining show. The tent is a fun and unique experience, live theatre, outside, in a tent, and in the round. Fun times all around!

Intimate setting for local productions. Warm in hot weather, but the closeness of the audience to the cast easily offsets. No bad seat in the house.

I would like to let you know that I am not very impressed with your process for auditions. Every other show I have looked at has the required age group for the parts. The auditions for Arial did not have any ages listed and one would assume The Little Mermaid would be a childs play. My 11 year old grand daughter worked her little heart out for 2 weeks to learn and practice for the audition, she was amazing, knew the whole song and sang it great. She had never done anything like this before, but always wanted to. She was so excited to be there as were many other young girls and boys. Then a lady comes out and says I just want to let you all know that this is an adult show and that the younger kids wont get a part but its good practice. The look on her face just broke my heart. First of all you should have set that stage on the website, second of all that was not the time to say that, all it did was make her disappointed and not happy to be there anymore. You need to take other peoples feelings into consideration when you are doing things like this, especially childrens.
