They put on a great production of Steel Magnolias. I was impressed with the covid-19 related precautions they took, but would have preferred if everyone was required to stay masked even while seated. The seats are a bit small, but that is a common annoyance in my experience. Overall, I was very impressed and will be back for more shows in the future.

Ive been here a few times over the years. Its a nice old venue where local Arts get a chance to shine. I most recently went to see a production of Bug. If youre visiting town or just looking for a little culture to get into, this is a great place to go check out. They have all sorts of regular shows here. I would say that it probably attracts a pretty wide variety of different presentations.

I recently saw the show, Savannah Sipping Society here and it was absolutely amazing. They used a single set for the entire 2+ hour play and I didnt even notice because the actresses were so good. The building is historic (the old Court House) so its cool to see the inside. They also have an impressive refreshment stand available before the show and during the intermission.

Such a great addition to the downtown scene for family fun, a girls day, or date night!Ive enjoyed plays here with my family and friends, and the experiences have always been great. The atrium has a little snack bar where you can get various snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages before the play and during intermission.Every seat in the theater gives a great view, but my favorite is up high on the front row of the balcony.Sometimes after shows, the cast is waiting in the lobby for meet and greets with the audience. My kids love this part!I attended a play of The Savannah Sipping Society yesterday with girlfriends, and there was even a themed alcoholic beverage called The Southern Belle. A few weeks back, my family and I attended Mama Mia. In the atrium they had a photo backdrop complete with a disco ball and fun props to use.Always a great time to be had here!

The Pensacola Little Theater is one of the hidden jewels of Pensacola. The theater is a very intimate setting with no bad seats. There is a snack bar in the lobby that serves alcohol, soft drinks and snacks. There is always a wide variety of theatrical events to include theatre, ballet, singing and dancing. Theres something for everyone. Theres plenty of parking around the theater. We always park south of main street. There is also a wide variety of restaurants and bars near by in case you are hungry or want to continue the party.

Definitely the best community theatre in the southeast. Every production I have ever had the privilege to attend has blown the roof off of the house. The talent that they are able to find is incredible and the technical crew is able to put the most elaborate and beautiful set pieces together that truly make the stage come to life.

The absolute worst show- Divas! The dancers were so-so, a couple were VERY good. But the producer ruined it by putting himself on stage, portraying Freddy Mercury. Hes NOT a dancer, nor a singer just very self absorbed, self indulged in his body, muscular arms. Pathetic little man, taking away from the dancers!

Without amateur theatre there is no professional theatre. This is a great location for local theatre. Childrens theatre, adult theatre, and fun bouts of singing, dancing, and acting in well loved musicals. Check out their website for what is currently in production. Its fun and amenable to the public. Check your high hat at the door and play with us for a little bit and you too will love pensacola flavor.

Stadium seating but there are a couple rows where the slope is too minimal to make a difference. I recommend row J or higher. Small theatre, even nosebleeds seats arent too far away. If you dont get your tickets on sale its kinda pricey for community theatre.

We went there for our 21st anniversary last night to see the play Dearly Beloved. We had a fantastic evening. The play was entertaining and the cast was GREAT! I cant wait to see more plays there. The only negative was each row of seats was extremely close to the row in front of them, a little tough if you are very claustrophobic like I am. Ill know to get end seats next time.

I cannot say enough about PLT. The plays are excellent and affordable. For most plays you will pay about $30.00 for a front row seat in their beautiful theatre. I love our local Saenger Theater but it is pricey and you have to buy tickets through a third party..Ticketmasters if you shop online. At least that has been my experience. Checkout PLT ..we have great local talent.

How about a review of the VANYA & SONIA & MASHA & SPIKE auditions, eh? The. Auditions. Were. a Blast. A better cast could NOT be assembled reports a man reading both nights with Pensacolas powerful Thespians and hoping to live ~ for just a moment ~ Vanyas life.with that said, Yes ~ I lived Vanyas life just for a moment! heheheApril 18, 2016 was the first time I auditioned for any thing in 35 years. I was so surprised how active the butterflies ~ wait, BUMBLE BEES ~ were in my entire body not just the stomach.Yet, Pensacola Little Theatre actors, volunteers & staff were so inviting...so generous...so hospitable...I kinda felt like Sir Olivier himself.uhm...i didnt quite Read the Part like Olivier; but the others helped me FEEL like him!Thank you so much for the two evening I spent with you, PLT. I encourage every other Pensacola dreamers to give it a try. I definitely will, again.Reserve your seats NOW cause the show is gonna be an amazing night of pure delight.
