Course was in excellent condition. Enjoyed it with my two sons and a best friend. Greens had a tad of poana but still putted great. Course has a great layout. Price was on $39 including cart. Definitely worth it! Our cart girl on 9/5/20 (can’t remember name) was very pleasant and came around about every 3-4 holes like clockwork.
This was one of the nicest courses I’ve ever played. The greens were inconsistently fast, but the fairways are beautiful and the course overall in well kept. I can’t wait to be back at Marcus Point again. The price is impossible to beat for the quality of the course! Thank you for offering a college student discount
Love the practice putting green, but the driving range is laid out strange and makes it really hard to see how far your ball is actually going. The course is solid, some really challenging holes, but overall solid for all skill levels.Prices are good, staff is very friendly and helpful.
Course shouldnt let 5 people team play along with shortage of golf carts. Love the course thou.
I really like this golf course....BUT beware of the rates. They charge each person for a cart with green fees up front, then charge you for a cart again if you want to ride separately. Doesnt seem very fair, but theyre so busy I dont think they care.
Beautiful and well maintained. Great staff and service.
First time playing there, very tough course, staff was fantastic but the other golfers on the course were horrible, very cold and not friendly, that says alot with me being from New Jersey !
Good luck with this rag of a course.
I booked an online tee time for 18 holes with a cart last weekend. My wife, who does not golf, decided that she would ride along with me since it was such a nice day. Upon check-in, I noticed a posted sign stating that all party members must ride in seperate carts with no exceptions. No where on the website was this policy posted that I could find during my booking. The man at the register (I do not recall his name) remarked that These are weird times when I mentioned the posted notice. I was then charged an additional $18 for a cart that my wife would have to use in order to spectate and apparently socially distance herself from me, her husband. I suggest that management utilizes the Latest News section of their website to inform future guests instead on leaving it at Coming Soon. With that being said, the course was in good shape, challenging and we had a great time. Ill be back soon.
Great staff, great atmosphere. Went out as single, ended up catching up to a couple on the course, one of which was a staff member. Offered to let me play through or join them, joined them and finished up a great round while making 2 new friends. Course was in great shape, only reason not 5 stars is I had trouble reading the greens.
Course in great shape, just too expensive!
Beautiful course w great customer service. The owner Mr. Ben had been by far the best to work for. He is a fantastic leader who will get out there and work right alongside his employees w a smile. Hes super approachable and his passion for the sport reflects in such an inspiring way . Ann is so great she will bend over backwards to satisfy customers needs and as well for her employees.
Will never play this course again. Checked in and grabbed a cart. Went to practice tee. Man who checked me in came out and confronted me. Said I took someone else’s cart. Huh? He was. very irate and told me that my buddy and I had to tee off immediately. 10 minutes ahead of time. Didn’t have time to warm up. Extremely slow play. No marshal. Tee boxes looked like a plowed field. Never again
Good course fairways need some work.
Unfriendly staff in Pro shop.Course is in rough shape.Greens are in trouble.
Best round for your buck around this area!
Great golf course.
Love it, always well kept and the staff is always friendly and very helpful. Course is beautiful!!
Great course great family atmosphere. Grab your clubs grab your wife and go play nine. You wont regret it.
Very nice course run by friendly folks.Good mix of moderate difficult and fairly easy holes. The greens are surprisingly slow, I never got the hang of them.Virtually no water in play, so you wont lose many balls.Three good challenging holes to finish.
Great staff. Super friendly from the top down. A great afternoon weekend rate including cart. Course is a little rough today but I heard its a bad spring. Nice restaurant and good prices.
Was not worth the price.
Good, friendly service. Above average golf course eats.
I enjoyed the round, especially for the rate. Rey good for early morning weekend round. Greens are in good shape, just dont expect very fast. Star is lost because some of the fairways are not in very good condition. And I mean like expect your ball to be laying in tall weeds.
Course in bad shape. Poorly marked. Just an over all bad experience probably great for locals not so much for visitors
Piles of grass clippings and tall weeds in fairway. Greens are super inconsistent. It’s super cheap so it’s super packed. Hole layout isn’t great. Spend an extra ten dollars to go to a course that’s worth playing. One star because golf carts and cart ladies are nice.
Great golf course. If I lived in the area, I would be a member here.
Fun course. Fairways a little patchy in some places. Great value.
We golf trip to Pensacola a couple times a year and always play Marcus Pointe. We played it today and the course is in the best shape Ive seen it. Some hard rains the last few days had some crews cleaning up around the course. The greens and fairways have came along way in the 8 years Ive been playing there. We will be playing there again Friday. Awesome staff that is always friendly.
Pretty good course I recommend
Nice course needs a more active marshal pace of play is slow
The course was very good. Pace was very good, too.
Staff is always friendly. The course is in good condition and I think its an interesting layout. Its challenging but not too unforgiving for a hacker like myself. I recommend this course for golfers of all skill levels.
I have been there a few times. I rated it a four because of the course condition only, however they say it is an ongoing project. The entire staff, especially in the pro shop are great. I went in there just after work one afternoon( not to golf), not dressed appropriately, and they treated me well, unlike other clubs I have encountered. I left feeling welcomed !
I play here at least three times a month, the most of any other course. The staff is friendly and the facilities are well maintained. The driving range is a little short, but the practice greens are very nice. The course seems to handle rain pretty well, and is typically not soggy too long after a shower. The greens can become fairly hard in the middle of a dry spell, but are pretty nice after it rains.
Marcus Pointe is a very challenging golf course in Pensacola. The course is in great condition. Fridays are military appreciation days and active and retired military can play 18 holes with cart for $25.00.
I lived in Marcus Pointe Golf Course with my parents and hands down this is THE place to live if you are a resident of Pensacola and hands down the nicest Golf Course AND Golf Club in all of Northwest Florida!
Great subdivision
Home, great course and place to live.
Lost no balls. So thats good
On the northern outskirts of Pensacola, a couple of miles south of I-10, Marcus Pointe provides a pleasant and challenging golf outing. Some pleasant elevation changes on the back-nine and a mix of housing and woodland beyond the course, Marcus Pointe is an attractive layout that throws down an agreeable challenge to all facets of your game.
Looking good. Working hard on getting it cleaned up after all of the December rains..
Decent golf course with a couple of very troubled holes. Solid four stars for the price.
Great course
Great course and club house with very friendly staff!!!
Courses was in very good condition. Greens fast.
Nice golf course, nicely maintained. Good lunch menu with great service.
Lots of fun.
Looked after me for a set of hire clubs. Great staff. Great course
As a beginner level golfer I found it very user friendly and enjoyed the elevation and undulations in the fairways. Great course, great value! Because I work there I get the opportunity to play often. Easy to understand why weve been voted PNJs Best of the Bay Best Area Golf Course four times in recent years. Biased and proud!
Course is in good shape, but a few greens need a little attention
Just played yesterday...the course was in fine shape... especially with all the rain we have been having. Greens were a little shaggy but again with all the rain not to slow.
Ben Bates and Frank Sneed are during phenomenal things with Marcus Pointe. The care about their customers. Julie and the restaurant staff are awesome and make great food.
Early in season. Fairways pretty bare. Greens are good.
Marcus Pointe is the definition of hit & miss. You never know the condition of the course. The fairways are mainly garbage, youre better off hitting from the rough. Greens are decent..very slow through the week, but decent after they cut them for the weekend. For Pensacola, rates can be a little high. Ultimately, only play here if you can get a hot deal for less than $20.Update on Marcus Pointe 1 year later. In worse condition! Had a tee time for our fourseome, starter held us for their club match..5 hour round! To make it worse, we were charged the full rate ($45) during a tournament. As far as conditons, its a joke. Patchy greens with dead areas, 6+ fairways didnt have grass, and every teebox was uneven. Please, save yourself the time and money and play at any other course in Pensacola. Marcus Pointe is trying to use the reputation they once had, several several years ago.
Great course and staff. Greens were perfect.
Nice greens some can be fast definitely a good course
Nice course, precise shots will pay off. The greens were a little shaggy but that can be expected this time of year. A good challenge for the intermediate player.
This course has gone down in quality. The fairways are thin and in some cases nonexistent. I was very dissappointed. I normally like the course, but I would hesitate to recommend it as a go to place to play golf. Some of the bad areas on the course are improving. The staff is friendly.
Very fun course, that offers some challenges. I would recommend this to any golfer.
They let 2 five-somes out in front of our two-some. No Marshall on the course, and the two groups didnt over to let us play through until the 14th hole. Terrible management.
Pro shop failed to tell us that we would be the 1st tee time behind a large scramble when we called. Arrived at the course and found a beehive of activity associated with the scramble. Big shock, not too happy. The scramble teams filled up the front 9 with 2 groups on #1 in front of us. Pretty upset about the whole situation.Greens were the worst I have played on in a very long time. The front 9 greens at least had grass, but they were long and extremely slow, like putting on Velcro. All but one or two back nine greens had multiple large, irregular dead spots that had been filled in with green sand. Terrible to the point of being nearly unplayable. Layout is good and the fairways were OK, but had sparse grass and a number of dead spots. Definitely will not be back.
Great links and greens... well taken care of. Nice neighborhood
Good Value, Fun Course, Good to better greens for the area, Friendly Staff, Good Range and practice area. Its worth the drive to the range and practice green alone
It is In very good shape
Very nice course and clubhouse.
Love this course and they are making it better every day. Super friendly and awesome location.
Wish they had warned us about actively areation on the course. The fairways were nothing but plugs and mud. Probsbly a decent couse in session.Wa
Great condition
This is a wonderful place to be and worship The Lord and fellowship with other christrians.
Beautiful course and great Military Discount. This is hidden gem.
Well kept. Friendly staff. Great restaurant. Top notch community.

Best bang for the buck in the region!
This is a beautiful facility in a lovely upper-middle class suburb.
Great driving range, practice area. Challenging layout and fun to play.
Good course. It had a good pace of play for a Saturday
Coarse in great shape.
Nice place. Fairways in tough shape
Great and challenging course. Beautifully kept
Fun golf
Abit pricey and greens arent in the best shape. Still a challenging course.
Great course
The golf course was closed for 4 days in January before being re-opened under the new management of Stonebrook, LTD; the same company that has owned/run Stonebrook GC in Pace, FL, for 25 years, and Tanglewood in Milton. This team is a group of hands-on golf professionals! Absolutely dedicated to making Marcus Pointe the premier golf club in the area. Membership gives full golf privileges at Stonebrook and Tanglewood, also! (at only $130/month, you cant beat it!,,,,snow-birds welcome!). The restaurant (The Pointe Grille) has opened serving low-cost (but delicious!) breakfast and lunch (about $4 - $ 6 for breakfast; about $5 - $7 for lunch). The course is in good shape for winter, but this group plans to have it greatly improved quite soon!).
10/10 will golf here again.
Cant wait till the next time im able to T IT UP AT MC!
Great place to play golf.
Great for golf.
Course needs some work and facilities could be uograded.
