Overpriced for the area they are located, but they only cater to the rich anyway. Used to have a Makerspace there but I heard they kicked them out for no reason. Too bad but seems typical of this area.

This was fantastic but fair warning, to get a decent size glass pumpkin we paid in the 55.00 per pumpkin range. There were no pumpkins costing 25.00 as advertised. With that said, they were simply beautiful! I bought for others who could not go so I bought 5 of them. 3 were for other people .

Went for my 1st graders field trip, the gentlemen working the glass blowing area were very informative and seem to love what they do which was nice. My only thing from giving it a 5 is I would have liked to have seen and done something a little more hands on and engaging. Granted it was fun to do the clay making class, suggestion would be to be able to do the kiln or what not there so that theres less of a c.f. hence of messing up or ruining the projects, especially when there are a bunch of first graders leading the pack. Other than that, quite enjoyed the visit

I can now say been there done that. Line starts forming around 7:30 am, Entry isnt until 10:00. Pumpkins are very pretty but are beyond my budget. Too hot, too crowed, too expensive. But they really do the business, people were buying by the box fulls. Gifts?Resale? Dont know. Glad I went thought.

I was here as a volunteer. The more I learned about the venue, the more I was convinced it is a manifestation of gentrification. If you want to meet local artists and do not care that the very neighborhood it resides in cannot afford to go to it, then you too will enjoy the pretense of FCAC.

So I have been to the hot glass cold brew event plenty of times. I havent been to this event in almost 1 year. In the past, this event was amazing... You would pay $20 to $25 (thought it was $20) to get in, pick out of a huge variety of glasses, have all the beer you want, eat amazing food (last time I went it was pulled pork tacos), listen to music, and watch the glass blowing. Unfortunately, I think last night will be the last time that I go. It was a joke... The worst part about it was that I felt like the lines were worse than Disney World at Christmas time. So here is how it went... I walk in and stand in line to pay and get some kind of hipster punch card, I stand in another line to pick out my glass that I want to use for my beer (there were literally about 12 glasses to choose from which was a complete joke), I fall into a ridiculous pot hole in the glass line before I even begin to think about drinking, I get into another line to get my beer (this is when I notice that my punch card only allows 2 beers), when i get to the line they ask for my wrist band (which no one told me about), I stand in another line to show my ID and acquire my wrist band, I get back into the beer line and wait 30 min for my beer, and I get into another line to pick up my 1 inch slice of pizza where another hipster attacked my beer with her organic himp scarf (only one punch for this so dont come here hungry unless your a cracker and salad eating carb counter). By this time I really need another drink, so I get back into the beer line and wait another 20 minutes to find out that they ran out of beer at 7:30pm when there was only 4 more people in front of me in line. Assuming that they are going to probably go pick up some Michelob Ultra or Zima and jolly ranchers, my girlfriend and I have a short conversation about going to find something to eat and find a full size adult beer (instead of this frat girl sex on the beach shot glass size beer). We decided that maybe it would be worth it to stay... So, we wait another 30 minutes as we watch a guy dressed up as a frog on LSD dance around to the weird music, watch a guy practice his vaping skills in 20 MPH wind, and observe the hipsters create an additional beer line so that they didnt have to wait as long when the beer did arrive. I have to say that I try to make the best out of every situation, but this was a bit unpleasant. Please fire the anal hipster, and find someone that can chill out and create a pleasant atmosphere. Remember...
