This is a fantastic golf course. It is well maintained with excellent greens. Wish I could play it year round but its only open to the public during the off season.

The dryer in my building remains damaged.The trees are not all cut down and they serve for the birds to nest and throw their corrosive droppings on the cars and damage the paint and nobody does anything for that.

I actually visited next door inside the Hollybrook Playhouse. It is a wonderfully accommodating venue for Banquets, Concerts, and Receptions of any occasion. The facilities are ample and the Dance floor is large and can be quite versatile for your special event.

Very hotel and golf resort with a great Continental breakfast! Everyone here is nice and courteous! I will definitely come back. This trip was an in and out weekend getaway to attend a wedding. Great price and great location. Close to everything!

This is a well established retirement community close to the Fort Lauderdale airport. It is a private golf community with a challenging championship course which requires competitive pre-booking. There’s an informal par three eighteen holes with lots of water that winds its way throughout the development. There’s lots of swimming pools to service the myriad condo apartments.

Jerk management. Illogical rules. They think they are kings and residents are lucky to give them the time of day. No place to walk so residents forced to walk in street. Worst community I’ve ever visited.

The course is in great shape these days. The price is affordable. You should score a good round theres plenty of room for some errant shots that wont hurt you too badly. A nice Clubhouse closes early in the summer. Easy access off Pines Boulevard.

I was staying with a friend and thats why I went here. But wow what an unbelievable community! There was a guard the gate keeping the riffraff out, in the golf course itself was absolutely beautiful. I felt safe being here and I look forward to visiting my friend again!

Great restaurant food

This has got to be one of the most poorly ran golf courses in south Florida. The starter doesn’t care about any of the customers, the guy in the pro shop can care less about his job. Seems all these employees are just here for their check. Waited over 1 hour and 15 to tee off, extremely mis managed operation. Course was nice but the staff ruined the experience. I’ve been golfing for over 15 years and never in my life had such a terrible experience at a course. Hollybrook needs to check their employees especially the main ranger/ starter. He’s arrogant and needs to find a job where he’s not dealing with people. Worst golf experience of my life. Will never return!

Great course

I ate as a guest at the Country Club. The food was great although I would have to say our waitress( her name was Amanda) was such a delight. Honestly went in in kinda a bad mood, yet she had me smiling and laughing before I left. She took the time to make eye contact and listen. I manage 29 people and would love to have an employees with half the people skills she demonstrated. If possible please thank her for making an old grumpy guy cheerful.Joseph

Lovely place, golf course in great shape!

Tried this course since its open to public during off season. Showed up early for an 11am tee time on Saturday to see 8 groups in line to tee off. They had the tee sheet stacked every 7 minutes and backed the course up so much we got out 45 minutes late. Ive never seen anything like it. The starter did nothing about it and kept reassuring that pace on the course was still 4 hrs...Ended up playing one of the slowest rounds of golf Ive ever played in the summer in South Florida. Pace was 5+ hours and the ranger drove around looking lost, flying a green flag to indicate pace was good and did absolutely nothing to keep pace up. Also witnessed some of the worst golf Ive seen in years. Had several groups of members ahead of us who were some of the slowest and biggest hacks Ive seen in a long time. One guy continued to make it a point to spend 30 seconds cleaning his ball before every putt while we are standing in the fairway watching him putt for triple and quadruple bogey (this was a member).This is not a club for serious golfers. Course was in good shape but I thought the front nine was really boring. Front nine is basically wide open. Hard to lose balls and had many people shanking balls from adjacent fairways. Pace of play was a absolute deal breaker and I will not come back. Five hour pace is unacceptable and makes the game unenjoyable.

I have only come here to play golf... if you get the chance ... GO! It is a very nice golf course and kept in perfect condition. Also not expensive.

I bought my condo a year ago in Hollybrook and I LOVE it here! Its beautiful, very peaceful, a lot of things to do, safe, good food and just a Great place to live!

No stars. I put my life into this place, 30 years as a guy that worked 24-7. President fired me and hire his friend. He did what ever he wanted to do. He is not a person I would deal with ever again. The manager should of been honest, and not said everything was good. before HE!! was week and listen to the president to let me go.

Let me start by saying that I love the game and the different challenges of it. Last summer and part of winter (2016), I had the pleasure with close friends to secretly tour some of South Florida’s private and public golf courses. This one being one of the worst managed and maintained. While at the pro-shop area, we were lucky to come across the CEO, Director of Facilities, and Superintendent. They introduced themselves and their titles but we did not revealed ourselves. We made them aware of some deficiencies and the CEO and Director of Facilities were clearly lost and unable to promptly respond to how to correct them due to the lack of knowledge they exposed thru their lame answers. The Superintendent, which we thought was a groundskeeper do to his poor appearance, had SOME knowledge of the problems at hand. At the end of our brief conversation they all compromised themselves that the problems were going to be corrected promptly. After two days, we decided to go back to play but mostly to see if they had tend to their deficiencies and nothing was done. Again to our good luck, we came across the Director of Facilities in the parking lot area and we asked why things were not corrected and warned him that things may get worse in the long run and all we got was a very nasty response and he drove away in his golf cart. A lady who happened to be passing by told us, “apologies for his bad and vulgar attitude, that man is lucky to have his job and title, I am a proud resident and that is not who we are”. We further explained to her everything and she said, “That guy, the CEO, and the Superintendent are lucky to have their positions, the CEO who is a simple community association manager was given that job and big title, the new Superintendent was given his job as well, and that man was hired without experience and is luckily working here. Shamefully things are not done right due to their incompetence and lack of knowledge, but not all of our Supervisors are like that, the other ones have a lot of knowledge in their field and lead and perform their work correctly”. That definitely helped us conclude why the golf course was poorly maintained and managed. My friends recently visited this place and they told me that things are worse and even the restaurant was closed and this is the reason why I am writing this looonngg review to make you aware and warn you to not waste your time at Hollybrook Golf Course.Note: I was forced to give (1) star to write a review but they dont deserve it!Based on my past experience I know that one day Hollybrook Golf Course and its residents like the lady we encountered deserve and will earn (5) stars when management is properly replaced.To Robert Vigilante:I agree with you the complex does look great, I dont know how it looks now, but it was looking the part when I visited last year. As the lady mentioned and I outlined above, the other Supervisors were performing outstanding and it was reflected.

I love the golf course. Off season it is open to the public and it is my favorite local course.

The golf course looked spectacular and well kept, from what I could see. I went to visit the restaurant, but was a little disturbed by the recent inspection report.

I cant speak for the golf course, but avoid the restaurant at all costs. I have tried it both at dinner and at breakfast. The latter resulted in waiting 1.5 hours for cold, soggy eggs on a stale bagel. While waiting, I saw at least four people walk out of the restaurant before getting their food due to the poor service and long wait. I nearly joined them and, after getting my meal, wish I had.
