Awesome place. Nice golf course. Good prices. Good customer service from the staff. Rooms are a little shabby, kind of dated. But not as expensive as youd expect, so it balances out. I like this place, Id recommend it.

Not so GrandWe chose the Grand Palm Hotel because of its location as we were traveling to Miami. It was conveniently located off the interstate and close to a local grocery store. We were traveling with family and shared a room with double beds.The initial appearance of the exterior was well kept and inviting. The staff was also friendly. The interior of the room was dated, probably early 80s. It had a mildew smell. We checked both beds for bugs and noticed there was no mattress protection between the mattress and the sheets. On a positive note there was no signs of bugs in the bed or in the room.The beds were both well beyond their useful life. You could hear and feel the bed springs which resulted in a restless night with little to no sleep. We were short on towels with not enough for the 4 of us available from the front desk. However it was decided by 3 of the 4 of us to not take a shower so the towel issue was resolved. I did take one and my feet stuck to the bottom of the tub. Our socks turned black from walking on the carpet.

Played the Royal and the Sable. Tough track but the course is in really good shape. Our group had a very nice time. Pace of play was great and the weather cooperated.

No internet, smell in suite, and dead bugs everywhere. Good customer service but simply not worth it

Had a great visit great customer service and if your car-less there a bus 7b public transit. The only reason I gave it 4 stars. Because my room didnt have a fridge or microwave. You have to order them. My bed had a crease in it but it put me straight to sleep. I will book again in The future tho. Make sure you try the chef salad and chicken wings they are da bomb and affordable.

Golf course has a narrow layout and trouble is on each side of the hole. Fairly difficult short course. Conditions are okay. Range is into water and putting green is reasonable.

The courtyard is beautiful !! It looks like a tropical paradise. The rooms are very clean and the staff wonderful. Nice large pool. Has a good restaurant on site. Also close to many other restaurants and shopping. Would like to have had an outdoor hot tub and a refrigerator in the room. Would definitely stay again.

Due to party in adjacent room I received an upgrade to a larger room. The original room was not worth the price paid but the suite upgrade made it worthwhile. It was comfortable but very dated. Also had that typical old Florida musty hotel smell. Nice that we could open the door to small patio (only for suite rooms).Breakfast was mediocre but had nice view of golf course.

If I could, I would have given this place no stars. Very disappointed with a room that charged $200.00 a night and for it to look like it needs major renovations. Coffee maker didnt work though not recommended using anyway. Dirty carpet, old bathroom, no microwave, fridge. I couldnt even find a pen or paper to write with. At night there were people making a lot of noise which snap people out of their sleep and this morning to hear men arguing and while getting my so call awesome continental breakfast theres cops outside who arrived because of the ruckus outside.

Beautifully maintained facility, great staff and the tasteful abundance of wildlife made for a Serene environment. I had the BEST lesson from Lucas Cohen and will definitely continue to see him. Hes very passionate about teaching golf and truly does an incredible job at it, I was so impressed with my improvement! Highly recommend

Hotel facilities need major renovations. However the golf facilities are pretty decent and affordable.

Ok hotel. Looks much nicer on the outside. VERY friendly staff though. Rooms was specious but the AC made ALOT of noise. Bathtub was not so nice. To bad that they have not done anything to renew the hotel. Was probably gorgeous when they buildt it- for probably 30-40-50 years ago. Breakfast was included but very limited (Continental).Okay to stay here for å night or two. Close to interstate 75, so only 30 mins from Miami international airport (with no traffic). Close to Everglades Holliday Park.

Management did not honor published rate for the south florida premier card members. The manager said they are just an affiliated course and can change the rate at their discretion. I paid 20 dollars above the published rate today for a course that is just average. I feel that the management is taking advantage of the times, needles to say i will not play this course again.

Great, modestly priced hotel to stay in if you want to be near Miami and other beaches without paying the price. Theres a nice golf course here, and a spa across the street. Continental breakfast is included with your stay, but you must get vouchers for it, and if you want a hot breakfast there is a charge. The rooms do need some updates, but the one we stayed in was still a nice room. It was very quiet,the pool was great, and I loved the golf shop on site.

Although the hotel is pretty inexpensive, it is also terribly out dated. The breakfast is not great, but you can pay $5.00 to get a hot breakfast that is better. The pool area is actually relaxing. There are many places to eat and shop in this area. The walls are very thin and you can hear other guest. Overall, it is affordable but not very nice.

The property was well kept. The room was clean. However the room and furnishings was EXTREMELY outdated. Therefore, I wont be re-visiting the property. However, i would love to visit once upgrades are done.

From the road, this hotel has a calm, well kept, villa style appearance, which proves to be the exact opposite upon closer examination. This hotel has a complete inability to update rooms and bring them up to standards fit for a resort. I immediately found a massive MOLD problem under the sink. The entire board in the vanity is rotted out and COVERED IN MOLD. This place must not have done any upkeep on their rooms since the 80s. The furniture in the rooms is 80s era furniture that is banged up from use over the years. I would assume the beds are the same way. Very stiff, rigid feel that makes you feel like your in a Motel 6. The carpet is dated and just looks like it was very poorly vacuumed. Bottomline: There are genuine functional problems not just cosmetic problems here. The cosmetic problems need to be addresses if this place wants to taken seriously as a hotel and resort.

That was my worst hotel experience ever. The place is so old. Outdoor are is so scary. The rooms are old, dirty and smells! I stayed this hotel for two days, because my business trip. I had to be booked by my manager because I’m 21 and someone who is older that 25 has to book you in! That was ridiculous! The person in the desk messed up my transaction. He charged me for 2 security deposit for one night. And I ended up trying to get back my $50 security deposit thru bank. They kept saying “it’s gonna take time.” I only stayed there because it was cheaper, and I no longer wonder why it is cheap. Pay couple of bucks more and stay in a new, decent and a clean place. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Never go there folks!

Rooms need updated and cleaned. It is beautiful on the outside but the rooms are so outdated. Carpets very dirty. make your feet black and you have to rent a fridge and microwave, but the dining room closes at 6???

The property has such fantastic potential. However lack of maintenance and poorly trained staff make the Grand palms resort a difficult place to stay.The rug in our room was disgusting. It is old an extremely dirty. The daily maintenance of our room was not done until requested.The grounds are aesthetically pleasing and will maintained.

Went golfing here. Nice quality course at a very cheap price. Good tee boxes. Greens were nice. Fair amount of water. Way better than Shulas or Miami Lakes. Book online for discount pricing.

This is a nice old hotel that needs some upgrading. Our room was. Ice, but the bathroom needs fixing up.

Good hotel, but need to be updated to be modern. Need to add a microwave and small refrigerator to room. Update furniture and deep clean carpet. Cleaning staff needs training on how to clean coffee pots.

Havent stayed in the hotel, but Grand Palms three 9-hole options are some of the best golf courses in the region, very well maintained and mostly uncrowded. Staff is hit or miss, but the pro shop is always well run.

Nice course to play, but there was always some confusion driving the next hole. Because they have 3 courses close to each other, I think they need better signage pointing the next hole on the course being played. Other than that, nice, challenging, course to play (we are amateur golfers...). Enjoyed our experience.

Hello all, I am not the one to post ratings but I have decided to share my experience. This hotel only shows really nice pics. However, the rooms are HORRIBLE. I paid a little over $150 to enter a room that had extremely poor housekeeping. I wet a napkin and the dirt that I wiped was just so unreal. When I went to the front desk, Olvia (the employee), informed me that unfortunately that site is an old site and that the rooms were outdated. My friend, outdated is one thing but dirty is a whole different level. I did not has much want to put my bag down. The entire furniture was so filthy. A picture was given to the FD employee. The worst part of the entire evening was that I was unable to find another reasonable hotel in the area at the last minute. Management have to upload real pictures on the web and stop providing false advertisement. This is very unprofessional.

I was in town for a friend’s event and several of her guests were staying here. It looked ok online, was priced inexpensively, and could serve the purpose for this weekend. Observations1.) Staff moves slowly and not helpful2.) I originally was staying one night, but added another before i checked in. They had to do it under two separate reservations and the process of doing it was consuming.3.) The rooms aren’t comfortable. Old carpet and hard beds.4.) No coffee on the entire property to purchase unless u go to the buffet btwn 7-10a. 5.) No floor mat in the tub, which is fine for me, but not if you are older. I was worried my mother would slip.Would not stay here again.

An absolutely beautiful hotel.Stayed for 2 nights and it was a joy.The staff were ultra friendly and always so helpful.Rooms were clean and always stocked with fresh towels and toiletries.The Continental breakfast was really good. The staff there were friendly and the food was fresh and hot always .If you are in the area I would highly recommend staying here for your trip .

Room was very spacious but the beds were very uncomfortable and springy. Its dated but overall a nice place to relax.

I am here for a wedding. The bride received horrible treatment when she checked in the night before her wedding. She walked around the property for quite a while trying to locate her room because the lady at the front desk refused to give her directions. I arrived at 9:30 am to help set up and Joanna at the front desk was rude,unprofessional, and had an awful attitude. As a matter or fact, everyone that came to help had the same complaint about her. On a positive note, the staff at the restaurant who also work at the venue where the event is being held are wonderful and extremely helpful. So wonderful that they made up for the discomfort I experienced with that rude Joanna. I can go on but I think I got my point across.

I didn’t like anything about the property it’s smelled awful.

I had the time of my life with my family will make it there every year.

The location is great. The scenery & surrounding areas such as the large golf course & car spa, the courtyard with a beautiful pool & fountain, I loved that. However, the rooms were incredibly out dated & disappointing. The hair dryer didn’t work, the sofa bed read “out of order” when we went to pull it out, the carpets I don’t think I have been changed since they opened the place, the tvs were very old and small. But worst of all, the beds were so uncomfortable I could cry. I had trouble sleeping every night tossing & turning. My kid didn’t even want to sleep in the second bed it was worse than the first one. Unfortunately I can’t say we’d come back unless there was some definite remodeling going on.

Very good golf course. Peaceful location and very convenient to shopping and restaurants, fitness center, restaurant on site and a great staff. Older accommodations and it still shows some of the grandeur of and earlier time. If the owners are able to invest in a restoration project and grounds beautification this hidden gems can be a stronger 4 and go to 5 with upgrades.

Horrible! Unclean, some rodent in wall and had rooms changed, staff unhelpful and not best service overall. Breakfast isnt worth with loud and rude staff yelling while eating with family. Staff even told us to go elsewhere, didnt recommend staying because they couldnt help with issues w cleanliness and the rodents

Old from at least the 60s and hasnt been updated much since then. No elevator to second floor. Free breakfast charges for coffee so not free. Moved on quickly from this place after being place by someone that had no experience with this place.

Just a quick overnight before a cruise. The property grounds are very nice, but the hotel itself is very outdated, shabby and dirty.

This was my first visit to this hotel. I have seen it for years and always wanted to stay there and I was very disappointed. The one word that comes to mind is renovation as the hotel rooms are not up to date. The room was very musty and did not feel clean. Our room door even had a small opening at the bottom of the door ( I guess that is the critters entrance). The bathroom was very small and appeared old.The air conditioner was very loud. The ice machine outside of the room was filthy. I was not impressed with the TV as it was very small especially for being a supposedly high end hotel. The breakfast menu was mediocre at best; we actually ate off the property.The positive thing was the young lady at the front desk as she had good customer service and switched our room upon hearing about the small opening at the bottom of the door. The grounds are very well kept as well.

Dated, no fridge in room. The beds have a curve in them I cant imagine the last time they have been changed. Yes it is cheep, but if you look behind the bed it is filthy, the baseboards and under the bed is disgusting. The staff is amazing.

Had a tee time booked for today and have been trying to call the pro shop for the past hour and no one picks up. Tried getting the operator and still no answer. Absolute worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

What I like:1) I enjoy the scenery and lots of critters running around.2) My room was clean and appears to be recently renovated.3) The cleaning people are nice and friendly.4) Located in a very nice area.What I didnt like:1) The bathroom is very small.2) I have to walk quite a distance to and from the parking lot.3) The receptionists are professional but some are impersonal and a bit testy (which cost a star in my book).4) I often smelled marijauna which I didnt like but thats to be expected at any hotel I guess.5) My debit card was double charged the last week, the second time without authorization (is that legal?).

Attention..!!! Rodents and cockroaches .. !!!!! It is the worst hotel that can exist. Rodents and cockroaches walk on the beds, dirty carpets smelly beds and old cokchon must have paid me to enter that horrible garbage dump. Breakfast is a joke the worst, do not even think to bring children. To conclude if you want to dump your money and spend the last day of your life, enter THE PALMS and you will remember this comment. The worst decision. I will try to place videos on the networks.

Positive: It was perfectly located for what I needed to do in Pembroke Pines. Near restaurants, shops and movies. Wifi good. Towels and linens good. Negative: It was deserted and the doors to the guest room open to the outside which was creepy. The furniture and fixtures are quite dated.

Im only giving it 1 star because i have to leave a rating. This was the absolute worst hotel i have ever stayed in. This is really a motel. Only good thing is the golf course, location, and scenery. The rooms are outdated and smell terrible!!!!! The carpet probably hasnt been cleaned in gods know how long. No fridge in the room and they have the nerve to charge $134 per night. Complete joke!!! I will never come back. If this motel was $50 thaaaaaaaat would be priced accordingly. The food was subpar.

Cant believe Ive never heard of this golf course before but I found it on GolfNow. What a great track. Not easy golf, you need a lot of good shots and theres plenty of placement golf to set up your second shot. Fantastic scenery on every hole, great wildlife, and an overall beautiful course. Look forward to returning.

Positive: Staff was very helpful and respectful. Negative: The television cable package must not allow sports channels that will allow you to watch NFL games.I wouldve liked to enjoy NFL football games.

Two stars only because the location was great and the room was well stocked. Otherwise, there was only one usable outlet, which made it difficult to charge our devices overnight, and the carpets were grimy. It felt like they hadnt been cleaned in way too long and we kept our socks on so our feet wouldnt turn black.

Stayed here a couple nights. It’s just a run down place. Breakfast buffet is what I imagine prison food to be. I would give it one star but the people here are really nice and I feel sorry for them.

The pictures on the Webb are from there paydays. The place is outdated the rooms yes rooms the room they gave smelled of pet or pets through out they gave me another room so called upgrade which smelled also.The floors were dirty and breakfast looked like frozen microwaved food

I have never experienced a worse place to stay than this hotel. Im not a picky person when it comes to somewhere to sleep, but the bed they gave me was visibly covered in semen. When I asked to change rooms, I was left waiting for at least 15 minutes while the lady at the desk finding me a new room even though she was visiblely chatting with a friend. I was so angry that I knew if I would have said something I would fly off the handle. When I got my new room there was no doubt that someone had being doing drugs it because it smelled like what I would imagine a crack den would smell like (it smelled like someone had lit battery acid on fire or something). I maybe would have expected this from motel 6, but this was just ridiculous considering how much I had paid. The next room I changed into wasnt too bad compared to the others, but I was left with a great feeling of discomfort from the last two rooms. Also, the people who work here are generally unwelcoming and dont seem like they want to be there. Do not be thrown off by the golf course this hotel offers. Its by far the worst hotel I have stayed at and I surely will not stay there again.

The hotel is not clean, everything is dusty. I called the hotels restaurant to advise that I was missing a fruit cup that Inordered and the restaurant attendant was beyond disrespectful and rude. She even said I will transfer you to someone else because I am busy. How dare she say that to a hotel guest!!!!!

A bit dirty and needs some cleaning. Walk on the carpet and go to the bath and you will see the dirt on your foot. For the price this place needs extensive clean up.

Their breakfast is a BIG joke and top of it they say, we cant take it to our room (even a glass of milk or coffee). I forgot toothpaste, they asked for a dollar. Quite expensive hotel.

Very low grade property. Rooms poorly maintained; unclean towels and sheets, beds and pillows in bad shape, overall unclean place. The name Grand Palms does not fit the place... could not wait to get out of that place. Also worst breakfast Ive seen.

I booked Saturday on line. I booked Friday at about 2am on Saturday. The clerk did not connect the reservations, so I had to re key. Also, they would not honor the price even though it was already 2am. They appear more concerned with money over customer service.

Positive: The front desk personnel were friendly and they remembered me and made me feel at home. The outdoor atmosphere is breath taking with the golf course behind the resort is beautiful. Negative: The building is old and the rooms have old furnitures, the carpet in our room smells like mold. I had to go to the store to buy febreze to ray the room. no appliances, we had to pay $15 for a microwave and fridge.The so call free breakfast was a joke.

Yes, the rooms need updating, but they are clean and did have everything we needed. The hotel staff was beyond amazing. We went to the lounge one night, the live music was good, the lounge staff were very friendly and knew how to make a drink. The hotel was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Was a very good stay, hopefully the rooms will be updated soon.

I visited for their Mothers Day Brunch. The staff was pleasant... there was a large variety of food, but the flavors wasnt all great. All in all, we had a great time with family.

An ok hotel, rooms are sub par (small and dated) to get a fridge we had to rent for 10. Breakfast was cereal, toast, waffles with tea or coffee anything else requires payment. Staff was ok no wow moment. Concerned that the hotel lacked visible security. It was more of a 1.5 star experience. Nicely kept grounds.

Would have been higher but no microwave no mini refrigerator no bible not even pen and paper. Smh oh yeah and only 1 socket works but its all the way by the bathroom. Breakfast was ok not many options.

Updates could restore the facilities to expected grace. Towels were seemingly in short supply. Hangers also. However the location is convenient for such a prominent destination for snowbirds.Breakfast was less than expected with only one choice of fruit per day.I hope the facility is upgraded to previous granduer.
