The archery park is an outstanding addition to Oak Mountain State Park. It has a youth section and an adult section, with graduated ranges up to fifty yards. There is also an elevated shooting position and a simulated blind to complete the experience. We really enjoy the archery park!

Glad this is in the area. Its a great archery park and Ive enjoyed getting the practice in. I dont know how often they change the targets out, but the times Ive been they were shredded. Still caught arrows fine but many were so torn up there wasnt a good point to aim at.Hint: dont let Google maps navigate you to the archery park, it will take you to the wrong end of the park.

The archery class for beginners was a great experience for my daughter. She had a great time, but I do wish she could have had the chance to shoot more before the class ended.

It was a truely a wonderful stop. We only spent a couple hours there since it was a pitstop on a longer trip and we only saw a fraction of what they had. The small lake was beautiful, the playground was great and there was a walk through the trees that had birds that had been rehabbed but could not return to the wild. Our kids are 5 and 3 and had a great time but you could absolutely stop with older children and still have a good time.

Oak Park was great, took my family and friends to see the bird sanctuary and to visit my in-laws that were camping in Oak Park.
