The price is decent. I love swimming and so do my kids. Im probably not the only one who thinks this but it would be awesome if they got a bigger place with more to do!!
Great for families and friends. Fun for Pekinites and out of towners visiting or passing through. Younger kids love the Dragon Slide and older kids and adults line up for the 2 bigger slides.
We cant wait until next year! Fingers crossed they offer a buttery grilled cheese and iced tea next season.
Nice local water park. Great for children but it is small and right now only the childrens slide is open.
For a little diddy waterpark, it was five bucks entrance, as long as you like. Just bring sunscreen, if you plan to stay long. Otherwise, youll look like the lobster I do right now.
Nothing there for kids to do . Pool floor was dirty and has sharp spots . Cant have any kind of floaties or balls. Just no fun
Always a great time yet didnt get to stay as long this time.
Came to dragon land for the first time and found it to be a joke. Its not bad if your being your own lifeguard. The lifeguards dont seem to do anything.a fight broke and it took the lifeguards a full 5 minutes to do anything. Then the dragon in the kid zone there was no lifeguard which is no big deal but kids where not waiting for others to clear the slide. I know thats a parent issue but lifeguards are the last line of defense for equipment safety. A child jumped in the deepend and sake to the bottom and noone did anything as the lifeguard were busy talking.
Great place! Very reasonably priced, lots of seats, great pools.
I like this place because it is family friendly. Also, they do need to get the slides fixed because it is probably dropping there rating
My 5 year old took swimming lessons here and it was not as professional as I had anticipated. The coaches were teenagers and were trying to teach them to swim with both hands under water yet maybe 3 of the kids were going under without plugging their noses. Breath control and learning to go under without plugging noses should have come first in my opinion. The pool always looked clean but I was never in it. In the small section Id roam for lounge chairs to wait out the hour about half the chairs were broken so you couldnt sit up. If the place was sparsley occupied Id return but if its crowded id rather not waste the money to just visit the park.
Kids crapped in the pool & its nothing like the Pekin pool that I miss so much! Now I have to drive a half hour away to swim
Been there many times and my daughter takes swimming lessons there. Its a really nice pool. Has two water slides (height requirement and kid needs to know how to swim), with a zero depth entry. Has a sand pit area which is cool too. Lifeguards are on top of everything.Only request would be to add more water features for young kids.
Slides are not running all year but atleast you can cool off
No coolers or be floties. Clean and reasonable price. I have think should have more hours as they seem to be the only community pool in this area. Looking forward to next Sumner.Should also have weekends after school starts until labor day, as weather permits.
The kids had a great time. One of the life gaurds was very rude with my daughter and niece..other than that it was a fun experience. Fair pricing.
My sons first time in a pool. He didnt want to get out
My favorite part about Dragonland is when I took my family this Sunday and even though it said open online, the park was indeed, closed. Good thing my child is two and too young to understand.
High priced. Just spent a week in Longmont, Colorado and their pool was ten times nicer and slightly less to get in. Cant take your kids and self very often due to $20 plus just to get through the gate. Not a daily swim POOL like the good ole days.
We went to Dragonland...great serviceVery reasonable priced at $5.50. Great shade trees so bring a blanket n sm cooler. Good concessions. Great small slide for little ones.. The tubes were a blast! Plenty of chairs for sun worshipers. A very family oriented water park. Get there by 12:30 for great spots in the shade.
Grandson age 3 had never been to a public pool yet and I had not been to one in many many years. Grandson had a blast and keeps asking to go back!!
Awesome little park, first time visiting! Be careful on the tube slide its pretty intense for how small it is.
I took my 3 girls here and there were older teenage girls calling me and my youngest some very dirty nasty names and nothing was done. She scared my 11 yr old and was holding her under water trying to literally drowned her and nothing was said. My daughter had to get out and sit for 10 minutes. How was that doing the right thing.
Great pool it starts shallow and gets deeper as you walk in. My son loves the dragon slide. There is a cantine for food. Its reasonably priced for a water park. There is even an adults only area.
Disappointing that slides out for the season. No where else to take kids.
My kids and I love this place!
While there were issues with the water pumps for the slides. The area was clean and not too busy too enjoy the water.
You tell them the experience you have and they make excuses and dont about it and dont do anything to ensure slides are running correctly.. also today i watched no life guard on the slide to ensure safety as they claimed was their job but wanted to do their job when they feel like it. Mothers and other patron should not be doing thier jobs. Def not worth it.
Great place for little kids to have fun. Much smaller than the pictures make it look.
Not very big area. The old pekin pool was better. Gets so crowded you cant even swim.
Love the design of the pool but with all other pools closed, it gets to packed.
Small park but very safe for kids and family. Great fun.
Nice place. Clean close parking lot. Wish they had a lazy river.
Fun for the kids. 2 water slides, not real big. Pool depth is max 5 feet. No diving boards, no wave pool or lazy river, Cost is reasonable, $5.50 per person Pool is clean and not over treated.
We got to Dragonland in the middle of the working hours, but were forced to leaved after 30 minutes of swimming because of thunder. There are no discounts or refunds for a ruined trip.
Nice pool with 2 slides, lots of lifeguards all around. The one thing I do not like is the bathrooms are gross!
Why would you be closed on the 4th of July! Not very smart! And they wonder why people go to another community and spend money elsewhere!
While we were there they had to shut down because someone pooped in the pool
Fun family time.
The best water park
Fun play area for the kids and plenty of chairs for laying out in the sun. The pool is deep enough to enjoy swimming without being afraid of the kids going to the deep end.
Great place to take the kids swimming
Decent for kids. My son loves it. Very reasonable price.
