What a beautiful community! A majority of the residents here are full-time and they have created such a clean, comfortable and welcoming community. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Lots of trees giving it a beautiful cozy feeling and it’s nestled next to a beautiful mountain. Dog friendly and Elk pass through daily nibbling on the apple trees. I am only here for a week but only because they are booked. I highly recommend this community and look forward to coming back again!

What a beautiful, cozy and friendly community! Lots are spaced apart nicely, well maintained and scenery is pleasant. Most of the residents are permanent long-term, so a nice sense of community exists here. I met new friends immediately. It’s dog friendly too, with plenty of trash cans and doggie bags along the walking routes. Beautiful scenery and helpful staff. Love it here! We look forward to visiting again!

Visited there recently on my way some place else. The only thing I can say is the lady at the desk was nice and provided us a place to park and rest . Unfortunately one of the park residents decided our rig was too nice and vandalized it making a very expensive dent. Its a shame when people are jealous of what you have. If you decide to visit this park beware ! We were parked up front . In plain site of the front office.

Nice people and helpful when I was trying to find location of customer .

I recently stayed at Lamplighter for 3 weeks in a class A motorhome. The RV park itself, is OK, however it is not a resort, not even close. This park is year round living for most. I got a bad taste in my mouth over what I was charged for my 3 week stay. Originally, I booked for 1 week, then extended 2 more weeks. I asked for the monthly rate of $430.00, they would not work with me. So, for my 3 week stay it cost me $652.20. Also, if you have allergies, the cottonwood trees, seeds, are terrible for 2,3,4, weeks. I heard a lot of the permanent residents complain about flooding under their homes, and septic tanks spilling into the ground. Just saying!

The staff seemed very friendly. Although my motorhome wasnt approved to stay there... its a 91 Bounder, they didnt charge me for the weekend of electricity that I had used. If you have a newer and nicer RV/Trailer then Im sure you wont be disappointed!

I came down for a visit for my grandmother and the managers Leslie and Rob are so kind to my grandma and they are very helpful. They made me and my grandma feel at home here will definitely come visit again.

Awesome place for a few days or year round. At Tonto National Forest and only a couple hours drive to Phoenix.

Its too confusing. Numbering system makes it difficult for delivery drivers.

Ive not heard 1 good thing concerning the new management. Including my dealings with them. Im giving more than 1 star based on the park is kept clean.

A very relaxing RV park!

My grandma has been living here for a few years and I absolutely love it here! This is somewhere I can see myself living when I retire. The people here are so sweet and friendly and my grandma has the best neighbors that anyone could ask for it makes me feel better about knowing my grandma is safe and has help if she needs it when I am not there to help her.

We were here a couple of years ago and have now returned to stay here permanently. Staff is great, park nice and clean. Super friendly neighbors and tenants....

My most recent experience was over the Holiday how day as I was up there visiting family was fun cheerful people at the clubhouse there was even a family there visiting their grandmother with children who were very well behaved I did notice that the people running the event did single out 1 family who even brought food I told the family that I was sorry for what had happened as they left after their entire family was called last to eat which was wrong as they could have called each table number at random after which made the family very upset to which they all left I will be convincing my grandparents to leave until they find new people to host events properly

Ive been here for 2 months now and I love it! Staff is wonderful and on top of everything and the tenants are awesome. Ive made So many friends in the 2 months Ive been here. Feel very blessed to be here!

Clean park, has laundry facilities and pay showers.

We stopped here to relax for a few days before getting back on the road. We liked it so much that we have been here 2 years now. The people here are so warm and friendly and the office staff is outstanding.

Been here a month now. Everyone is real nice and helpful. My first time living in a 5th wheel and this is the best park to live at. The office people are very very nice as well.

Management is rude pushy and nosey especially Mike. Was a resident in this park for 4 years. Came back in from traveling and was ask who we were! Didnt really want to give 1 star rating. If you are a busy body and nosey you will fit right in. If you like your privacy avoid this park.

Absolutely the best place in the Payson area! Not new, but level, hookups are dependable, and staff tries hard to make you a happy camper!

My wife and I have lived and worked at the lamplighter Rv park for three years. Because my wife couldnt handle the winters do to arthritis we had to move to the PHX area.We still come back to to Lamplighter each summer. I have had an Rv since 1968 and have camped all over the Southwest and cant recall any Rv Resort as nice as Lamplighter.
