Absolutely Loved 1408! Thought it was a really cool homage to the movie. My friends and I had a really good time and the puzzles were just the right amount of challenging. Definitely recommend checking it out, and definitely coming back to do The Tomb!

Brighton asylum escape room is literally the best!! The staff was very friendly and explained everything very well. The area was very clean they even had hand sanitizer right before you start the game. Thank you for taking such precautions for COVID while still letting us enjoy these awesome escape rooms’

Nothing but a good time and a good way to get out of that house. Social distancing and protecting everyone is a priority.

Im huge escape room fan, but the reviews about the rude staff and loud fans are accurate. Those things are very very loud and they also had staff violating NJ law without masks on, very unprofessional.

Also they are SUPER quick to try and invalidate ANY criticism on their reviews, even if nothing that was said is untrue. Real escape rooms fans who want immersion beware: THE FANS ARE INCREDIBLY LOUD!Dont blame customers for wanting a real experience when paying the SAME amount as pre-covid19, you want covid19 excuses for a diminished covid19 experience? Then charge lesser covid19 prices perhaps?Also, look how nice they were to the mosquito bite guy down below

I NEVER write reviews, but after my experience last night, I feel compelled to.My group and I are all complete newbies to Escape Rooms. Weve never done them before, but always been interested. We checked out the 1408 room at Brighton last night and it was easily one of the best experiences Ive had with a business.The room was fantastic. Tricky for us, but we never felt frustrated or annoyed. The overall design was so immersive, you really felt you were in the actual Room 1408. As a life long Stephen King fan, I was in heaven.The staff was professional, pleasant, and fun. Our primary game master was Jessica and there were two other new employees there with her. Everyone was equally efficient and a pleasure to meet and be around.I dont know how these rooms match up to a seasoned escape room patrons, but I cant recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a fun, spooky, immersive experience. We will absolutely be returning to try The Tomb as soon as we can.

I did the escape room on the property and it was so much fun!!! My friend and I booked a private room for the 1408 room. So many surprises and it was extremely well done. My only complaint is that it was extremely loud from the haunted house at the Asylum and the room required a lot of sounds. I’m not deaf but it was really difficult to hear so just make sure your ears are open! Jessica was our game master. She was so great with us! Would definitely recommend! And the best part? The two of us ESCAPED!!! :)

It was fun! The guy in the main office Richard Gonci was very helpful. Interesting location.

Unfriendly staff. Dysfunctional locks for rooms. Staff had to come in to fix the lock after realizing we had the right combination. Personnel didnt pay attention to us solving one part and lost 10 minutes. It was a door that opened by control. I assume she was busy with the other rooms. It made it very different to focus with other game sounds, hints, and yelling within close proximity.Their tone was also a bit... off... we were critiqued by the host (responsible for giving clues) for not understanding. Props may be potentially dangerous. Caution when solving within room. One member ended with a tiny cut from props. Dress up as you would for a hike and solve slowly with caution.Overall I appreciated the room and props. 4/5. Staff made it unenjoyable. I hope other people get a better experience.Stick to the Brighton Asylum only, not the escape rooms. That one is top notch and friendly 5/5.

What an awesome haunt the best ever and ever year there always something different never gonna stop coming here. Cant wait what they do next year

Just did the 1408 escape room and could not give a higher recommendation. Rich helped set us up and we had a great time. Jessica was our game master and if you are going to check the place out I would make sure you request her. She kept us involved and helped just enough to make sure we had a great time. This is a must visit place if you want to do something fun and new. Cant thank Rich and Jessica enough for such a great time.

We came back to play their Tomb escape room and had an amazing time. The sets were fantastic, the puzzles were fun. Exactly what we would expect from Brighton Asylum. Looking forward to their new rooms

My husband, friends and I experienced the escape room 1408 and it was an amazing experience! We loved it, it was challenging, but we were able to escape! We can’t wait to go back do the tomb escape room, definitely worth it and we had an awesome time five stars is an understatement.. definitely recommended.

Very realistically decorated.. liked the mechanical puzzles... they were so accomodating for our schedule.. A+ :)

This was by far the most amazing escape room experience I have ever done. If you want an amazing experience definitely try it out.

When I had gone it was pretty dark as we turned onto the one-way to see the creepy factory just finding was bad but when we got their it was so much fun very interactive and immersive
