Beautiful administrative building with outstanding interior and exterior. Backyard is Open 24/7 for public. Beautiful illumination. Romantic place for wedding photos. If you are in the area - must visit place, you will not regret. During business days you can enter inner corridors and halls. It was built in 1927 and it is still comfortable and convenient for contemporary urban people.

I visited to see the infamous murals. While I was there I got an excellent shoe shine from this dude named Andy and bought one of his CDs (his band is called Mouse Rat and they totally rock). The citizens of Pawnee are lovely people :)

Pasadena’s City Hall is a truly gorgeous Beaux Arts structure, topped with a Spanish-style baroque tower and featuring a stately rotunda. It’s lovely to walk around the courtyard, with its fountain and its beautiful gardens. This is truly a wonderfully peaceful place to visit, to walk and sit and be mindful. Oh yes, and I almost forgot that it’s amusing to walk around here because this is where the exterior of the city hall in the show Parks and Recreation was filmed.

An official building of imposing beauty, massive yet graceful, and suited to a land of flowers and sunshine is what the City Council had in mind. After four years of planning and construction, a stunning monumental building rose in Pasadenas emerging civic center area. The total cost was $1.3 million.Since completion on December 27, 1927, City Hall has remained one of the most distinctive public buildings in the United States, listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

This is one of the most beautiful places Ive visited in Los Angeles. I came here by chance to practice photography with a few friends. Its always clean, and well maintained. It is a very popular spot among photographers, and can be inundated with quinceañeras and wedding parties on the weekends.

Attended the Black, Brown & White Vigil at Pasadena City Hall. The vigil was designed to bring attention to the murder of George Floyd and all the Civil unrest. It was amazing and peaceful! Masks being worn & social distancing observed. Mayor, Latino, African, police, public speaking out!

Architectural beautiful building with a pleasant small garden, classy beautiful water fountain. Entrance and exit both view are awesome. Hall is having information desk at entrance. It is used to book for private functions. It have its own spacious parking space. Many newly wed, college students, couples came here for photoshoot. Place is neat and clean. Peoples not allowed here between 10 pm to 7 am.

Very beautiful and so much history. Had to stop and get some pictures. Im not in this part of town that often but Im glad I did. You can walk inside and look at the amazing architecture. Very photogenic place. Theres also many other buildings around here and can easily walk to old Pasadena.

One of my favorite buildings in Pasadena. Its away from the bustle but still close enough to be convenient. I used to live close by, and Id walk through the courtyard whenever I could. Chill place to take visitors too.Its not crazy exciting but very enjoyable on a peaceful way. Its nice the day after partying.

The garden is a bit Spanish-style, and the beautiful city hall, you must come and go when you come to Pasadena. Although the town hall is not big, it is quite beautiful, and there are two heads of Olympic marathon runners outside.

Awesome place to take photos, between the week you must pay for parking but Sundays is free, so it is a nice place to walk around and enjoy the view. There is a lot photographer in any case you need more professional photos.

Came here to speak with a Mr. Ron Swanson, ended up getting turned away by an apathetic college intern. Still enjoyed visiting Pawnee City Hall - was shown out by a cheerful city councilwoman who called herself Leslie. All in all, not a bad time.

The architecture and courtyard are unbelievably gorgeous. This is definitely worth a stop when you are in Pasadena. For a truly magical experience visit on a Sunday late afternoon in Spring or Summer when the sunsets are stunning and the hustle of the week is behind you .

Our New home in Pasadena! Im very happy here! Pasadena City Hall,completed ppy to be in 1927,serves as the central location for city government in the City of Pasadena! It is a gorgeous building! Make sure to visit Old Town!

Lovely place to walk in and around. So close to everything... great restaurants, shopping, walking, bicycling. Pasadena is a beautiful small-town-feel city. A very lovely setting that brings you back to ealry 1900. There are no high rise buidlings around, so almost any angle can give you a beautiful blue sky backdrop. to compose your photo. I can see many wedding couples taking photos, as well as graduating students. The police station is just across the street, also an old building design so the two go very well togther.

This review is for the building / grounds only. Simply beautiful - you would think this was a statehouse instead of the city hall of a suburban city. Some of you may recognize the facade as part of the opening credits for the NBC sitcom Parks & Rec . To the right of the entrance, there is a statue commemorating Jackie Robinson and his brother, both Pasadena natives. Walk inside the building to see the central rose garden. Just a beautifully executed municipal building.

This is a nice place. I never visited during business hours, so I dont know how busy it will be. I visited at evening during the week and its beautiful here. During my first visit I havent even realized that there is also a nice courtyard. It looks also beautiful with the lightning at night. Its definitely worth a visit.

Im really not sure where to even begin with this review! It came up as a place that needed more reviews, but of course thats understandable considering its the city hall and not a restaurant or hotel! Its actually very pretty with a nice garden. At Christmas theres a big tree lighting ceremony with a large Christmas tree. Its located across from the mall where you get 90 minutes of free parking, so you can always park there and walk over. Directly across from the city hall are two large statues of heads--one of Jackie Robinson and I cant recall who the other is. Theyre local landmarks and fun for photos, though Im not sure that they specifically add to the ambiance of the City Hall itself. Would I visit again? Sure, for special events and to let my daughter run around the gardens. Would I go out of my way to see it as a tourist in Pasadena? No.

Im not usually big on municipal buildings, they all seem to give me hives. But the Pasadena City Hall is an exception. The architecture itself is a wonder, intricate and not overbearing. Its airy and yet full of things to look at. Highly recommended.

This building is just gorgeous and I love walking here at night when its all lit up. Its not unusual to see movies being filmed here or photoshoots. Yes, the parking is terrible and it can be confusing if youre trying to find specific departments. However, the architecture, alone, is stunning.

There are two public buildings I have seen in SoCal that stand out: Pasadena City Hall and the Santa Barbara county courthouse. Pasadena City Hall is a marvel to behold, a beautiful symbol of Sourthern California equally stunning in the setting sun or warmly lit on a summers evening. Its a must see for anybody who passes through this memorable Los Angeles Suburb.
