Went to the Boston Court theater in Pasadena to see the play, Everything that Never Happened, a play about the events in Shakespeares Merchant of Venice from the point of view of Shylocks daughter. Its a fascinating concept, and its executed with skill, humor, and artistry. Sarah B. Mantell, the author, did a great job. It takes courage for a playwright to write a drama that begs to be compared with a play by Shakespeare. Sarah pulls it off with aplomb. The actors, Paul Culos, Erika Soto, Dylan Saunders, and Leo Marks, do a great job of pulling the audience right into the story. There was one spot where the house lights came on which was confusing because they announced before the play that there would not be an intermission. Other than that, I was fascinated by the action and the dialog. The set was abstract, and it worked well with the story line. The theater is intimate. All the seats are good. And theres free parking behind the theater. I highly recommend this place.

A beautiful little space. An elegant, intimate recital hall with excellent acoustics and great sight lines -- not a bad seat in the house.I attended a performance of Victoria Fatu, a brilliant, fiery pianist with excellent technique and a profound grasp of her material. It was beautifully produced by ExtraordinaryArtists and I would definitely consider seriously anything they might choose to put on in the future. Parking behind the venue; a definite nice-to-have.

It is a relatively small place with no assigned seating except for the season ticket subscribers. People can sit on three sides of the stage. We enjoyed seeing a good play there.

My first time visiting this theater. I loved the theater it self, but not the play so much. I would recommended and will go again for other plays though.
