The food was great along with the live music and drinks. Drinks were priced at a above average price but well worth it. Service was amazing and fast. And once again the music was great for a Tuesday. I would definitely come again for date night or just with some friends.

Great happy hour food and drinks with awesome music, how can you go wrong! Love The Mixx, we had lobster and fish tacos with their signature flavored margaritas which were delicious. I had the Blueberry Fizz which is my favorite. Highly recommend if you want a chill experience with good food and drinks.

Great new spot in Pasadena, they have live jazz regularly on weekly basis, food selection is great, been here twice and love it!!

I didnt try the food. But the sound system was very good. And theres a nice stage at the back. With nice video screens and a lighting system. And the place looked nice. And they have a decent selection of beers on tap. And the service was very good. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is because it didnt have an extremely intimate atmosphere. Probably due to the layout. Which is basically one long rectangular room.

It is a party spot. Food healthy mix. DJ and band were great! Mix crowd...friendly! If you like old school, dancing music.

The food was great (seared tuna salad & chicken marsala) as were the cocktails (I had dessert in a glass). We were there for the LA Blues Society Holiday Jam and Toy Drive, so the music was great! Minus one star for having no dance area otherwise its a great spot!

Fabulous evening of entertainment with a packed house. We laughed, danced, ate, drank, and celebrated on June 26, 2019. The waiters and staff very friendly, accommodating a long table, kind, and sweet. The food was enjoyed by all, it was good. The venue very inviting and comfortable, nice space.And even though the band packed the house full of guests who ordered up appetizers, entrees, and drinks freely THE BAND WAS NOT PAID AS PER AGREEMENT with a full house and trust me it was full. APPALLING, how you treat your golden artists. IT IS DULY NOTED.We walked by often in the evening and have never seen it with more than 20 folks, never seen so full! Life is too precious for such greed and meanness.

Place was comfortable, food and drink great. The servers would have done better to realize/ask as several walked in at lunch from a conference and had time constraints. They felt no hurry

Came here for the live music a gentleman playing when the piano and another gentleman playing a little bit on the trumpet little bit of vocals so I was there for the live music some of the food by the way was pretty good its definitely a place I plan to go back to their having a jazz duo this coming Saturday and also a bass player will be joining the jazz duo so it should be some pretty good music.

Great product for the price. I went during lunch bc the guy was handing out flyers with lunch specials. $12 for meal, salad, and a drink.. No complaints. The food was pretty good but it could have been more flavorful... The salmon was definitely better with the pineapple sauce. I got a few pieces without it and it was a li little dry and bland. The vegetables were a little overcooked for my liking (squash and zucchini) but it was a nice meal.. I even had a little to left to go..

You gotta get their garlic fries! They are so great, you can smell them down the block! Parking really sucks but the restaurant is great. The staff is friendly and its a great place for live music or to rent as a cool little venue.

I stopped in for the first time last Friday. I like the place and the ambiance... Nice long bar with large TVs above the bar area. Watched and listened to the live band. Great music! Very nice bartender and staff. Calamari had nice flavor. Pretty quiet when I got there, but was getting busy as I left.This place has great potential as the weather gets warmer and the rain stops. Will enjoy coming back.

My first time there. They had Jimmy McConnell Big Band that evening, which I really enjoyed. Nice crowd. I didnt eat but the food looked good. A great place to spend an evening.

Went to a really good jazz jam 6-8pm on Wednesday. Good players and really nice people.

The menu is old and out of date. But instead of updating it, they just let us order items they no longer offered. They substituted other items of their own choice for the ones we ordered, then tried to joke about it to try and convince us to keep the wrong order. The food itself was fine but the service was some of the worst I have ever seen

With the great reviews I thought we would give this place a try. The Jazz band was great, however the service was not. I waited an hour for pasta. The waitress kept apologizing for the wait and did provide a couple of drinks on the house. That was nice, but no one should have to wait an hour for pasta while watching steak come out for people who arrived much later than you did. When my pasta finally arrived, it was over cooked. There were only two waitresses for a full house. The owner kept bringing food from the kitchen and setting it on the bar for the waitresses to deliver. He couldn’t help out when they were busy? Disappointing and we won’t be back. Pasadena has much more to offer than The Mixx.

The atmosphere is amazing, live music, ambiance, and a great space. The food or at least the appetizer s were overlly simple, it left a little to be desired even though the portions were generous. The drinks are flavorful and strong. Overall 4 stars because the quality of the food, perhaps I need to try something else. Definetly will be going back.

OMG! Went there on Valentines Day on a first date. Amazing food!! Four course meal was out of this world! And the drinks were so good too, Compliments to the Chef and bartender!. And the jazz band playing that night was incredibly good!!! Definitely going back for the food and music. You have to try this restaurant!

The new hot spot in Pasadena, i went in to see the new MIXX and man was i glad i did. please looks amazing, i tried some of the food they have and again i was amazed how good and fresh it was.on top of it all you can have the food drink and dancing in the same spot.i would say stop by you will love this place and the mood and vibe.

Please dont ever do a brunch here again. Terrible experience. Like dirty dishes and undercooked food bad.Our reservation for mothers day brunch was at 11am. we arrived 5 minutes early and were promptly seated. Place was empty, no one was eating we were worried. We waited over twenty minutes before the food was ready, and it was NOT worth the wait. Scrambled eggs were unsafe to eat, with a pool of standing raw liquid at the bottom of the dish. Chaffing pans with two sections had only one candle each resulting in all the food being cold. Mimosas were served with a painfully sweet sparkling wine, no butter for the stale white bread m, no syrup for the raw French toast. Really, how hard is it to cook eggs!?Basically a free hotel breakfast with penne pasta, like the type of penne pasta youd find at the mall. Listen the food wasnt terrible, while cold, some of it was good. Teeth still hurt from trying to chew the bacon, coffee cup had lipstick on it, man the list goes on and on...the service was meh, not that bad, definitely not good. It just seams like the mixx should NOT be offering a brunch because they clearly have no idea what they are doing. 3 big televisions playing soccer. Really. Soccer on mothers day? charging $50/ when you cant properly and safely serve a buffet, is a cash grab and deserves a slap on the hand.
