Nice sports park and recreation center. Im from Louisiana and was visiting my daughter and her family. Went to watch my grandson play his baseball game. Clean, well lit and well maintained. Colorado parks are always beautiful, maintained, landscaped, clean, perfect. Have been enjoying vacations and visiting this beautiful state since I was a kid. Never dissappointed.

Challenger is a clean baseball facility with centrally located bathrooms. There are 4 fields in total, all turf. Im not a big fan of turf fields but they do allow you to play a little earlier in the season (snow) or soon after a rain storm (spring/summer). There is a slight slope in the outfields and if a ball gets by an outfielder its almost always a gimme turf homer.

This is one of my favourite places to watch my son play baseball. The bathrooms were always clean and the playground was an added bonus for my daughter to play on.

We didnt mean to show up 10 minutes before closing but we did. The staff was very polite and helpful. Extremely nice considering it was 10 minutes before closing. Kept our glasses filled. Very friendly and helpful. The chef was very nice. Didnt rush through and gave us a great show. Acted like we were old friends and was ver respectful. The food was absolutely amazing. Great food. Great chef. Great staff.

Great park! Great playground. Has basketball courts, and pavilions for picnics, lots of grass.

Referee, and nearly all parents and players in 11-12 soccer league, did not wear masks. Douglas County, what do you expect?

This is a great family park. Well maintained, clean, lots of open space for kids to run. My son loves the playground here. Theres also great views and everyone is very nice. We love coming to the Rec center and then the park. It also connects to the Cherry Creek trail, so you can hop there after a swim. The parking lot can get full during sporting events, but thats a good thing sometimes.

I love this park! Everything about it. The playground is awesome and never busy. The open space is always green and well taken care of. There is access to the trails, and lots of open space.

Always a great experience. Did you know they have child care? Your young ones can also get some supervised exercise while you take a class or swim some laps. I appreciate the Parker Rec Center!

We come here often to play softball or just play at the playground with the kids. Theres an awesome play structure for the kids. Theres also a large covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables for large groups.

Beautiful park with LOTS of open, green space to run and play! 2 separate playgrounds for toddlers and older children. 2 large covered picnic/pavillion areas for BBQs and eating. This is such a fun, friendly place to take your kids and its located right next to the recreation center.

Parker Rec Center is next to Challenger Park. Teach AARP Driver Safety classes there.

Great park adjacent to the rec center. So a large variety of fun activities are all in the same place.

This is a great facility. Three baseball fields of various sizes, a roller hockey/ping ball court and a massive recreation center with two pools, basketball courts and and a huge workout facility. Thay also accept Silver Sneakers which is great for all the retired moving into the Parker area. Highly recommended.

There is so much to potentially do here (outdoor activity-wise)! The parks page (website linked) for this location is pretty informative. We have enjoyed each visit.

The grass and facilities are well kept, it is a beautiful place, and is entertaining

There are two kids playgrounds, a big one and a small one. There are natural and artificial turf fields and baseball/softball fields. I think the way this has been designed is that one section is managed by the town of Parker and the other by Douglas County. Parking can be a big pain especially during the youth football season. The area is well maintained and fairly easy to get to.

We ate lunch under the pavilions. Watched a family playing volleyball and kids playing in the park. Great place for a picnic lunch on a beautiful day!

Would have 5 stars but the porta potties suck!!!!! So gross to have little ones use them. They wanna touch everything, no way to wash their hands and the dry heaving from the smell. Common Parker

Well equipped wonderfully staffed.

Rec center meets all fitness needs and is super affordable for the families and individuals. Great teachers and lots of class times available.

This is a huge park with lots of ball fields. But what I like about it is that the playground is very little kid friendly. My 18 month old can do the slides and they have baby swings.
