It was wonderful. An outdoor concert and done with social distancing and masks. So nice to feel normal and safe.

This beautifully restored building was originally opened in 1915 as the Parker Schoolhouse, then in 1967 was taken over by Parker United Methodist Church which built the annex in 1978. It was acquired by the Town of Parker in 1995 to use as a community center. A recent $3 million renovation has restored the historic portion of the building to immaculate condition and completely revamped the newer annex section. The complex includes an event room, meetings rooms, a dance studio, a 200-seat theater, an art gallery curated by the Parker Artist Guild, and an historical museum managed by the Parker Area Historical Society. The facility hosts community arts events and classes in theater, dance, music, and visual arts. The theater lobby now has a large concession area with new bathrooms and much more space and the theater has new seats and risers for much-improved sight lines. The theater is also now fully ADA-compliant.The renovations have been extremely well-done. The new theater lobby is spacious and has a well-designed concession area. Theres lots of room for the art gallery and for the little historical museum off to one side. The original Schoolhouse section maintains lots of original woodwork and has been opened up to show the original layout. There are lots of spaces for classes and meetings. The Schoolhouse is right in the middle of historic Parker with lots of shops and restaurants a short stroll away. It is a great adjunct to the larger PACE Center which is a couple of blocks down the street on the edge of the historic district.

I grew up in this building. No, really! I attended preschool in the old schoolhouse and church in the theater and our youth group met in the basement until Parker United Methodist Church moved down to Parker Road and Pine Dr.I love the remodeled and renovated facility. Its beautiful and functional while still acknowledging some of the history.

Small and cozy venue for a play. We attended a childrens play where the actors were ages 6-10 and they all did a fantastic job. There is a bar serving drinks in the waiting area which was nice. There is a parking lot in the back and very limited parking in front. There is additional parking within a block so not to worry.

Great multipurpose venue on Parker Mainstreet. Different groups use the small theatre for performances and upstairs are some meeting rooms. Have attended some school performances hes as well as other events needing a meeting room.

Lovely spot to take in an affordable & good quality theater production. We saw Little Women and it was fantastic. The space is cozy but holds plenty of people. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The *only* suggestion I have would be to find a way to let the elderly folks keep their walkers/canes closer by. It could be dangerous in an emergency to have the non-mobile folks bound by having to wait for someone to bring it. Other than that, 100% satisfied.

We could me here for a variety of performances for our child. It is a nice little facility and also contains an area where you can learn about the history of Parker. Parking lot in back is quite large and the schoolhouse, though a bit older is quite modern inside. Area where the performances are held is a nice size and every seat has a great view.

This is a small intimate theater with beautiful art on the walls. The decor of the building is very trendy with the modern industrial feel interspersed with original elements of the buildings history still intact. The theater itself seats about 150 patrons with raised seating so that you are looking down on the stage. The box office staff is very helpful and curious. The concessions staff thorough and fast so you are never waiting in line for long. The selection of productions is ever changing and seems that the titles selected are appropriate for the intimate type setting.

We saw Peter Pan Jr. tonight at the school house theater and we had a great time! The facilities were wonderful. Pretty comfy chairs, clean bathrooms, small snack bar. The play was adorable I brought my 4 year old and she just loved it. We will be back for more performances.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the transformation of this space until I took my seat in the theatre. Not only are they narrower than airplane seats, but theres no elbow room and its extremely easy to knock over your neighbors glass. Legroom was excellent.

We have used the Pace center for the last couple of years and for the first time the Schoolhouse on Main street for our yearly offsite. Each year we are treated to a wonderful setting with beautiful artwork. Rebecca Berends has answered all our questions and has set us up without any problems. We look forward to many years of using this facility for our meetings!!

I love the Schoolhouse. They put a modern twist on classic comfort food. You are greeted with a smile and escorted through a building set to look like a old time school house. There food was fantastic, It tasted very fresh. Overall it is a fantastic restaurant.

Its a very nice, small community theater. Some of the comedy shows featuring local comedians are hit or miss. But the music acts, such as jazz nights, are fantastic. I would recommend paying the few extra bucks for table seats. They are right in front of the stage and have drink service before shows.

Show was good. The theater uses temporary risers and the seating is a little cramped. I suppose this allows the theater to change its configuration. This was my first time at this venue. I found the signage hard to see and parking wasnt obvious. There is a bar. Major plus.
