Great Store and wonderful staff. Their large coral displays are beautiful and amazing. We bought an electric blue lobster that has added an entirely new dimension to the tank. Very knowledgeable staff that answers all the questions. The new store is clean and very busy on a Saturday afternoon.

These business owners and employees KNOW what the customer experience is all about! I have been in there a few times already and each time they take a few minutes to greet me, let me look around and then start to see what I need. They have given great advice when warranted and never seem pushy! They should bottle and sell there customer service like they do their water! Great job! I always wanted to have a salt water aquarium. With the entire COVID-19 pandemic, and stay at home directives, this seemed like the perfect time. I methodically read everything I could, and visited every reef store within a 40 mile radius. After visiting and weeding through all the information, quality of equipment, livestock, prices etc. the gem that stood head and shoulders above the 12 stores that I shopped was Tropical Pet Oasis. Every single frag, fish, anemone, food, and product that I bought from the store has been nothing short of outstanding. But most importantly, when I made a near unrecoverable mistake, the owner of the store was there for me. 100 percent! I had to pull out all my fish, corals, and anemones and get them from my house in Castle Rock, to the store in Parker. He immediately began saving all my pets, he has been caring for all of them for nearly 3 weeks now. He is so kind that not only has he saved them all, but has even sent me videos of my pets! He has only accepted my verbal gratitude, and refuses to accept any monetary gratitude. He has said that he only wants me to succeed and enjoy the hobby. Lucky for me, that this treasure of a business exists. Without him, I would have undoubtedly lost my beloved salt water companions. With his knowledge and care, I was able, again with his advise and direction, to get my tank back up and safely running. This fantastic business owner, even offers “house calls,” and to my extreme happiness, he is bringing my pets back home to me tomorrow!! I will never ever even consider shopping at any of the other stores I had trialed earlier on. If Tropical Pet Oasis doesn’t have what I think I am looking for, then either I don’t actually need it, or he will order it for me. This store has given me accurate, professional service and advice, great quality products and pets, best prices in town, and saved literally thousands of dollars of my beloved salt water inhabitants. Even before my error, I would always ask if there was anything else that I needed to purchase during visits to the store, I was never up sold, price gouged ever. Learn from my experience, ONLY shop and trust this store! I will forever be a loyal thankful customer!

Got a nerite,5rumminose,2shrimp,and 3corycats 1 shrimp vanished somehow. Not to worried about that. Everyone there has great knowledge (unlike PetSmart which is no comparison anyway). Ill go here first over any other place close. Support your local fish shop! It never hurts to ask. I had alot of questions answered and alot of things debunkt for me which made starting off alot easier with alot less stress. (This is my tank as of 7/19/19 just a 10gallon)

The people there were wonderful!!! Walked in and was instantly greeted. The place is well cleaned and the tanks are spotless. Doesn’t smell like in most stores that sell live fish and is well lighted. Found a new life long customer.

I stopped in today for a quick look around. I live in Colorado Springs but frequently travel to Denver. I make it a point to explore the denver shops. This one couldnt have been greater. Its a small shop and the owner Tommy was present and attentive. I quickly found a very nice piece of sps at a killer price and was on my way. Hats off to Tommy and the Tropical Pet Oasis crew.

Staff was informative but woefully short. A lot of standing around and waiting for assistance or to pay was involved. The freshwater fish selection is a little limited, but tons of salwater fish to choose from. Worth taking a look at for fish hobbyists.

Ive been out of the hobby for about 5 years and am starting back up. I was very pleasantly surprised with this lfs. Staff was friendly, super knowledgeable, and willing to help me catch up on how the industry/hobby has changed in the past 5 years. Prices for equipment are about the same as youll find online, so no reason not to support this local small business. They even gave me a piece of coraline encrusted PVC to seed my new tank. Best lfs Ive been to in Colorado.

Even through some of my own personal disappointment with a fish they initially said I could order and then told me was not available, they told me they would keep their eyes out and let me know when they are available. This place has gone above and beyond for me. The amount of support that Ive gotten from Tommy the owner is amazing. I wouldnt expect to see your mainstream pet store products here. They have a great selection of foods and chemicals for both fresh and saltwater tanks. All of my Cichlids Are from tropical pet Oasis and theyre all still alive and kicking. They also have a great selection of corals and they do have RO water.

Staff are very knowledgeable and they seem to actually care when you say, So this is what I am thinking, will it work?They took the time to discuss my shrimp tank ideas and special ordered me some fancy pants shrimp. The shrimp had a short delay from the distributor, but staff left me a voicemail explaining the delay and they were still working on getting my order fulfilled. The shrimp arrived, healthy and vibrant. I definitely recommend these guys.

I mean, Tommy is just great. You go in there and you just get to talk to someone who truly loves fish and clearly got into this business because of his love of fish (rather than money). Not only that, but customer service is the most important thing to me in the world. With Tommy, you forget youre a customer; instead youre just a friend. Need help with your tank? No problem. Tommy will tell you the best way to work through it. Have a mean anemone? Theyll take it. Have kids? Yep, he even has candy for them, too.Good people, good fish, good corals, good prices. Why go anywhere else?One last thing. In the saltwater (and even freshwater) aquarium scene, a lot of places have employees who think they literally know everything. They talk and talk and dont listen. They tell you youre doing your water changes wrong (like that you have to do 40% once a month instead of 10% a week). Its like they think they have degrees in marine biology. With Tropical Pet Oasis, its not like that. Instead, they take time to learn your situation, then make suggestions on what has worked for them in the past... and admit when they dont know something. Such a breath of fresh air! I mean water....

We have been going to Tropical Pet Oasis for a couple years now. Always a good selection, if Tommy doesnt have what youre looking for he will get it. I will never shop at any other fish store again because of the great service you get here. Especially after the bad customer service received at places like Neptunes. All the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Mom and I picked up a Columbian spotted pleco and a bristlenose. Healthy fish that took to their tanks with no issues at all! Definitely recommend checking out!

I had issues with a backyard pond that I was wanting to put Koi in for my 4 year old. Tommy walked me through the entire process of conditioning the water to achieve the correct balance. He helped order my Koi and they were delivered from Florida within a week. My pond is thriving and my 4 year old loves it. They saved my betta fish who had almost certain death in his cards! The associate helping me was very communicative and informed. He took very good care of my fish and actually knew what he say talking about, unlike Petsmart and Petco associates. Ive bought 10 other fish from them and they were and still are healthy. Oh and TPO, has many high quality options of food to choose from and they test the water chemistry for free (with a detailed verbal analysis of the results). TPO had salt and fresh water fish alike. Excellent small business!
