Our tech was great! However, the owner is the most unprofessional person I have worked with. Would not return scheduling requests and was extremely vague with scheduling. The first visit they just showed up at my house without even confirming an actual arrive time. I suggested he hire someone to schedule for him, then he berated me via text message for an hour. Ive never been insulted personally by an owner of a business like this. I wont mention what you said exactly but it was poor and insulting. Then tells me hea firing me after i told him we wouldnt use him. A business should never treat a customer the way this owner has. Pricing is about 30% higher than competitors so i would shop around first. He told me he receives 100s of email, texts and phone numbers a day, himself. You will get lost in the shuffle like i did. Work with someone who is organized and professional instead of this guy. The attitude starts at the top at this place. He claims he gave me a freebie for scraping algae from the front glas of my tank. Apparently a 150.00 service here. 5 reviews in 25 years of service says it all.

We had worked with the same tank maintenance person for some time and decided our tank needed a fresh set of eyes.Chad arrived for our appointment on time, put an excellent plan in place and had Chris in to fix our tank later that day.Chad and Chris were both an absolute pleasure to work with, personable, professional, and most of all, highly competent.We also learned where we were coming up short with taking care of and feeding our fish. Fairly priced and worth every penny.The tank is in beautiful shape now - if only we had a before picture to show you how much improvement Chris made with our tank in just a few hours.

We hired Great Barrier Reef to maintain our fish tank about 6 months ago. We have had the tank for 18 years but did not realize how poorly it had been serviced until Chad came in and tweaked a few things! Our whole ecosystem has become much healthier, and so much prettier to gaze at...the coral, the fish, the lighting, the flow - we may even expand to a bigger tank! Great Barrier Reef has been servicing my tank for several years now. I contacted Great Barrier Reef when my tank was doomed for failure after I tried for several months on my own.
