Once the tallest Eiffel Tower in the Western Hemisphere, this towering structure still inspires awe and admiration. When first constructed by local ironworkers back in 1993, the tower’s sixty feet replaced a previous wooden structure destroyed in a ferocious storm some time before. For the first few years of its existence, the Eiffel Tower of Paris, TX adorned the Texas plains without its now signature red cowboy hat which was only added in 1998.Now, outfitted with cowboy hat and still standing sixty feet tall, the monument is definitely worth a few hours detour off the beaten track for the visitor to the great state of Texas

This small town is quaint and friendly and this eiffel tower is just so great to see. Definitely a great little landmark to visit! You can also visit the veterans memorial right next to it annnd if you feel adventurous rent the bikes and ride down the paris trails!! It is so fun and so freeing and just a breath of fresh air. Bike rentals are to the left of the tower and you need to download an app but omg it is so worth it. This is the best time ive had since precovid, definitely worth the trip. Also head down the road and grab yourself a pumpkin iced coffee from Paris coffee co!

This was a surprisingly wonderful find. I was not expecting the wonderful veterans memorial when we arrived. Thank you for honoring our veterans is such a unique and heartfelt way. The towers and cowboy hat were a fun novelty to see in Paris but Paris showed its heart with the memorial!

Fun to stop by while driving through. The tower is funny because its an Eiffel Tower with a red cowboy hat, but the tower also looks like a mix of the real Eiffel Tower and an oil drilling tower. Its not very tall, about a 3 story high building, but fun to pass by. There is also a really nice Veteran Memorial next to it, that seems to be newly built, its not finished yet but very nicely done. Worth the visit too, probably about 15mn or so.

It was a fun trip, only about 2 hours from Dallas. We enjoyed the scenery enroute there and then taking pictures around the replica of the Eiffel Tower. A fun place. Take the family with your lunch and eat it in the surrounding grass area, the benches or even in your car. The Civic Center is next to it as well.I especially enjoyed the War Memorial next to it. I did not know about the War Memorial so that was a pleasant surprise. We read the plaques and was very informational. I enjoyed the reverent feeling that permeated the place.

I went to see the Eiffel Tower about 6 months ago! it’s super cute! Paris has a lot of potential! they need more trendy stores for the younger generation though! like Target, TJ maxx, etc etc... they need to clean up a lot of their historical homes and downtown as well! there’s a lot of eye sores! like i said before... paris could be a beautiful city! it just needs a lot of love!

It seems very interesting from what I could see. There were zero lights to shine on this tiny towns main tourist attraction. It was like a forgotten ghost, unseen in the darkness.I did witness the very well lit Veterans Memorial, which I noted was also kept very clean, neat and well maintained. Many supporters from the community came together to make this wonderful memorial possible. What a wonderful community.I was just passing through on my way to CA and thought Id stop to check it out even though it was 4:30am and still dark. I had hoped the cute lil Eiffel Tower might have been lit up, as I read in one of the reviews and saw a photo, but it was pitch black. Maybe if there were at least some, at least 4, ground lights underneath it, or 1 big light under the cowboy hat, it would be SO much better and more prominent & visible at night.

I visited the War Memorial and Paris did a really good job. It is not very big, but they really layed it out nice.I want to add, that as I stood there wondering what our fall soldiers would think of what the politicians have done to our country. I am sure they would be embarrassed and ashamed and wonder if their loss of life was worth it.....GOD BLESS AMERICIA....

What an adorable place to add to your bucket list..... been here many times.... I came here on Tuesday before Valentine’s Day to see our cards stamped from Paris Texas.... while there I decided to buy some post cards to send out... the only place I could find them was the Chamber Of Commerce...to my surprise, they have original art from local artists for sale... so I bought a few pieces....then I strolled thru the downtown square.... lots of antique shops.... ended up spending most of the day there. At the chamber Mrs Daniel showed me a sign in book from people visiting from around the globe.... who knew this small town would have such a draw???!!!️

Im giving this 5 stars, not for the Eiffel Tower, but for the Red River Valley Veterans Memorial next to it. The tower is underwhelming at best, but the memorial was impressive. I met a man named Travis Skidmore who works building, maintaining, and caring for the grounds. He gave me a nice tour and told me all about it and showed me where his family was. It was a really nice and interesting little gem of a place. Im glad I stopped there to walk around! And thank you Travis for the wonderful tour, for your service, and for your continued service through this wonderful place!

My husband and I took his family to see the main attraction in Paris, Tx because they are from another state. We also took them to the pond behind the Love Civic Center to go fishing. Unfortunately, our little trip was rudely interrupted by disrespectful teenagers from the Paris high school running their mouths incessantly. The outing would have been more enjoyable if it wasnt for the incorrigible group of teenagers
