Love love love this place had so much fun while learning about the Gold country...

Our Paradise High School Class reunion celebrated here in August of 2018. I am so grateful to have visited since the Camp Fire destroyed the building in Nov. 2018. They had an amazing collection of artifacts from european and chinese miners, and native americans. If you would like to see a smaller collection check out the Centerville museum down by the old covered bridge. Their building managed to make it and while not as extensive, still a great look at what it was like for early peoples of Butte County. I wish I had taken more photos.

We had a great time learning to gold pan. I had no idea there was so much to know. The instructor was amazing. He was patient and very knowledgeable with all of us. Thanks for such a great afternoon.

Pretty much my favorites of Paradise. this is during the fire ... hope they got all the cool stuff safely out.... there is a replica of the 54 lb DOG TOWN gold nugget that was found nearby

Great venue for anyone wanting to learn more about the local history. From stories to visuals, and a pathway through a small village, gardens, and picnic area. Throughout the tour, you will discover what the local Native American tribe learned and became accustomed to. The garden is a great way to learn more about plants and how we can use them as natural remedies. There are so many neat plants here...

It was truly an amazing landmark in Paradise California. Hoping to lend a hand to help rebuild and possibly be there new blacksmith for shows

Its been a place for meditation,reflection, and pay respects to loved ones and the brave men and women that paved the way to give us such an interesting history. The people at the Gold Nugget Museum are so wondering and really go over and beyond to make the experience exceptional.

Wonderful and knowledgeable volunteers. Had fun while learning new things. Love the outdoor area as much as the indoor mine exhibit! Fun gift shop too!

I had a wonderful time and its worth it to go. It has a lot to look at, a lot of great conversation starters, and a cute little gift shop. My favorite things were probably an old scythe, the gun collection, the barbed wire collection, a real postmark, the printing press, and old car. Remember, when you go, there is outside are, too!! I will definitely come back for Gold Nugget Days

I loved it when it was around. Sadly it burned in the Camp fire.

Great way to keep history alive and teach kids more about our local community.We go a few times a year. Especially to see Santa! Best Santa trip everPlease leave ad donation tp keep the doors open.

Cute small town museum with indoor and outdoor exhibits. Not one that takes an entire day or more to explore, but worth a visit. Lots of appeal to kids as well as history buffs.

The staff here is amazing. They gave my grandchildren a tour I was very impressed we will visit them again and again.

This museum is located on the site of a Maidu Indian encampment and is a must see. It is truly one of the treasures of Paradise!
