Only 3 Stars but this place is a decent place to live. Quite & convenient location to all major HWYs. Yes, no pool but, the lot rent is probably the least expensive around. Plus, a lot of owners including myself are currently improving the homes that we recently purchased. As far as the meals on wheels and the ELDERLY that live here.....They ARE & DO CURRENTLY RECEIVE MEDICAL AND FOOD ASSISTANCE!!!..... FACTS NOT FICTION. I have lived here for 1 yr now

I have had the worst professional experience as a potential buyer with a real estate lady who is known as Judy from Mobile Homes Sales by Jennifer. A nightmare is not even close to the mess that I have gone through....I spoke to Leona (Carlyn Estates office manager) about my desires to have my checks and money order returned to me.$1,000.00 escrow check and my first months lot rent of $435.00 (which on the website states $415.00) and my $50.00 money order (for credit check). She thought that it was too much effort to go to post office and return my deposits by priority mail with a tracking number. The park office and the park owner should have never allowed the mobile to be listed... The owner of the mobile is not even the owner of the mobile, the park holds the title...I have no respect for the lies and the $2,000 price hike after I signed the contract agreement for $7,000 to $9,000 that I have been asked to pay by the real estate woman and her broker.I feel that I will be hearing more dishonest stories about my checks were mailed and to wait... And never receive anything just more stories and lies.Costing me more money to stop payment on two checks and loose the $50.00 money order.BEYOND A NIGHTMARE!

This place is well kept, but you will pay a price for that. If you ever become ill and need someone to deliver food to you, it is NOT allowed. Yes, that is correct. No Meals on Wheels or church may deliver food to this community. Why? Because the owners feel that people who live here should not need donated food. They are making that decision for everyone who lives here. All you have to do is google Palmetto FL mobile home park no food delivery and you will see the news articles.

My mom has been there over 8 years and theyve changed owners twice. Dont live up to helping the people when needed. Scaring the residents about evicting them for anything. Fake fire insurance.etc.They do good on picking up garbage but when residents have excessive garbage the residents have to take it or haul it off themselves. Some of these residents lives month to month and or on social security or disability. There should be someone looking into this.

I would give them no stars as I just learned that they, evidently, believe that their personal beliefs trump the folks paying their living. It seems that if you, a senior, partake of help like meals on wheels, well they will evict you! a suggestion to them....mind your own house!

I just read that this park refuses to allow the elderly to receive food deliveries from a church food pantry or from Meals on Wheels. Whoever decided to inflict this cruel punishment on the elderly residents deserves all of the rotten publicity they will get. They also deserve the crummy karma that they are accumulating because of their utter lack of empathy or human kindness. To the new owner: your business model will fail because you are a failure as a human being.

I think the public outcry is CLEAR - NO ONE SHOULD EVER BUY OR MOVE HERE. They treat their residents as 2nd class citizens and have no compassion. Some elderly absolutely *need* the assistance of a food pantry. Some dont need it financially, but need Meals on Wheels because they have a hard time cooking every day, and only have helpers on some days. When you are 90, its hard to stand for 30 minutes to prepare a full meal. These people are horrible. A resident should be able to have ANY service delivered to them. I can see rules about not allowing deliveries to be left on a porch, but its none of the owners business HOW the resident gets their food. They are WAY overstepping their bounds here. I hope they get sued big time.

I just read how you sadistic owners are evicting elderly people for having food delivered to their homes. There is no way it can be legal to keep a person from bringing food into their home. Do you not understand that some of these people cant go out and get their own food? Are they meant to just sit in their home and starve to death? Do you not understand that one day, you too will be elderly? If karma is real, you are in real trouble.

You just earned national attention for threatening to evict elderly tenants for accepting food donations. Many many people are very very angry with you. The manager shoujld be dismissed, and management needs to compensate for this horrendous behavior -- facilitate food delivery and cooperate with the church. You do NOT improve your bottom line by mistreating your tenants in such a cruel, un-Christian fashion. You are being watched.

Its a shame that people feel the need to harass elderly citizens. To ban food delivery for those senior citizens who need it is unconscionable! There is no excuse for park manager Tonia Sonju to threaten residents!

si

Until Tonia Sonju is no longer the manager here, keep your family away. She would prefer elderly residents on limited means starve than accept Meals on Wheels, or any other type of food donation. If they do accept it they will be evicted.

What kind of human being would stop people from being able to eat or force them to choose between eating or eviction This person Who is stopping the food deliveries should be charged with elderly abuse which is a crime in the state of Florida
