A classy theater and the lobby is so well decorated and designed its a pleasure to watch a movie here. The seats are comfy, sound and picture as top notch - couldnt ask for a better place to watch a movie.I really recommend you check it out. Its about $2-3 more than the average theater but you get what you pay for.

The best amateur professional show around!You will always have a great time seeing any show at the PCT. The audience always changes but the shows are always phenomenal.Come to the PCT!

Wonderful, variety of shows in a small, cozy venue. Casts are generally talented locals with a few professionals, local and international in the mix. Well produced. Sets, costumes and sound are very good. Though live music is preferred the space doesnt allow it. The staff are cordial and friendly and work very hard to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Always good to have a community theater nearby. The shows are generally gay-friendly and its usually the same group of actors in every show. This is common amongst many community theaters. Not a bad seat in the audience however. The performers do a fine job in comedies, musicals and dramas.

Our own little touch of Off Broadway. Quaint and unique with a wide range of drama and comedy. This with frequent HOLLYWOOD actor support. Beer and wine available. All at reasonable prices. Surrounded by coffee, restaurants, and shopping.

The best in community theater. Great shows, with local talent mixed in with a few travelling shows. Always a great time...! The cast always puts their all into every show. The accompaniests are great musicians and the dance numbers are well choreographed. The only negative are the body mics on the performers, as they cut in and out during spoken and singing performances... 23 years of community theater in the desert means they must be doing somethin right.

Saw Big River last evening at P.C.T. Excellent.Show with terrific Players. Season almost over.Hope the Shows planned for next season are as good . Enjoy the summer vacation and look forward to the Fall.

I have been frequenting the Palm Canyon theater for the past 4 years and considering season tickets for the 2019-2020 season. The prices are very reasonable, the shows good and it is nice to see some plays I have missed along the way. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Community theatre has its place, just wish the quality was better, couldnt hear the singers over the pit band. Thats too bad as I didnt go to hear the pit band.

Just saw BIG RIVER at the theater and it was super, excellent staging and wonderful voices. One of the best shows Ive seen there. Its great having a good playhouse so local and enjoyable,

I have to admit the theater company has been doing amazing improvements since I went there the first time 6 years ago. In general, they play Broadway musicals lately with great local singers and actors. There are few things they still working on it; such the sound system and the A/C also dancing its definitely not one of the things to be proud of it. Its a cozy small theater about 220 seats, but its really well run. The office manager/box office who is also an actor is one of the best assets the theater have. The customs used in their musicals are unexpected for this size of theater, however most of the times the custom designer continues to WOW me. I just wish he didnt have such an attitude.

Local talent, great shows. Season tickets is the way to go. Get all 12 shows peppered with specials in between. No bad seats. Very cozy small theater. Very friendly crowd. Family and chosen family atmosphere. Some food available but if you are really hungry I would eat first. Always a mid-show break with the bellman giving ample time to get back to your seat.

Wonderful classic performance theatre in Downtown Palm Springs. Great sight lines and comfortable seating.

What a wonderful old theater. Comfortable seats. Small theater so there are no bad seats. Its an intimate experience even in the back row.

Had a wonderful evening at PDT, as usual, watching very enjoyable production of Hairspray!! Cast and crew put on awesome show!! Hurry this show ends December 16

Small theater (216 seats) with local and some professional talent playing Broadway Musicals. Some musicals are produced better than others, but for the price of admission I think you get your money worth it. The majority of the ushers are retired senior citizens like anything else in Palm Springs, but they are very professional and very well dressed.

Church folks went to the show. Was ok, have seen better. Mics on some player didnt come across

Saw The Diary of Anne Frank. The production was good and set was fine for a regional theatre production.

Great show. Best of the season. All performers were outstanding.

This is a great experience if you love theater. Wonderful actors, staff and music. We saw A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum last year, funny just like the old movie! Tickets are reasonable priced. Make this a stop on your visit to Palm Springs!

Fantastic venue for local theater. This place is a favorite for both locals and out-of-town visitors. I especially like to go for their Musical Theatre performances. I have never been disappointed by any performance I have ever seen. I just wish I had more free time so I could go even more often and that I had more friends who appreciated life theater like I do. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Buy your tickets well in advance so that you can get good seats. They allow you to choose your seats online so you can see exactly where you are to sit.

Beautiful old theater and an intimate place to see plays. We saw Blithe Spirit and it was very good. We will be back!

A great local theater that brings in superb talent for many of their shows. Recently they have started providing live musicians for their musicals rather than recorded music. Dont miss Sister Act March 2018.

We went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago to see The Full Monty. Great show. But I was most impressed by the volunteers who run this theater. Very welcoming and friendly. A most enjoyable evening.

Great actors, great plays, great overall experience. The problems with their audio system have been corrected and I commend them for that. Great way to spend your evening or morning depending what day you catch a show.

Wonderful little theater filled with talent. It is so nice having a wonderful playhouse so close to town. Plays & musicals as well as programs for children.

It is incredible the amazing talent at this small theater, given their limited financial circumstances. The Lanes continue to make this an outstanding theater.

Parking lot is one way in one way out, but the show is always worth it.

A lovely small venue that is so comfortable. All should support it.

Always to walk by and hear oh Happy days, a Mariah and sigfruied collab, creeping out of a wooden bathroom stall occupants own foot tap and whistle number. But, is it open? The thrill of FIVE CARS gives this dime 5 stars.

There is something special about this historic landmark downtown Palm Springs that takes you to a different time and a different place on Earth during every amazing play they work on bringing to their public.

The theater itself is a nice facility, the performances are hit and miss.
