Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, Palm Springs, CaliforniaThis is one of the last museums in the Palm Springs, California area that I had left to visit. The last time that I was in Palm Springs, California which was back in September of 2017, this museum was closed for some reason. However, I never gave up on visiting this museum and eventually came right back.Well, this is a Native Museum and I know in the video I stated that this was more like an Artifacts Type Of Museum, however, I was corrected that they are Not Artifacts, but this more of a culture and history museum which focuses on the Cahuilla people of the Coachella Valley.I made the video alone because the person in charge was Not sure of what to say so please excuse the video uncase You dont like it, but I work alone at it and do Not Have A Crew.It is just ME!I want to personally Thank Charles and Scott and their dog Blondie who was with us at that time for taking ME there back on Sunday, November 12, 2017.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreVisitorExecutive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites/HPS

Interesting history of Palm Springs early beginnings. The original buildings have been well taken care of and moved to the downtown site on Palm Canyon. A must see for first time visitors.

My wife and I gave the Cahuilla Tribe a 3,000 year old water jug that was in my father’s collectionI gave it in official recognition that it would be displayed to the public in the museum and gave it in a ceremony with lawyers to RICHARD MILANOVICH directly in their Board Room - and it disappeared.... very concerning and disappointingShame on whoever stole it or mismanagingThis ; but I’m going to look into this with lawyers and a law suit - no one can give a straight answer !Effrontery !!!!

This museum seemed small from the outside but it did not disappoint. We were looking for a native American museum for history research in the desert area. This place came recommended by a friend who said it was outstanding. Indeed it was! For being a smaller site than bigger museums that Ive visited before, the Coachella Valley museum is fascinating! They have an extensive collection of Native American artifacts, photos and early American novelites I was in awe.The fee was $8 for adults, children are free. We had a wonderful tour guide who made the experience enriching. I do recommend the tour guide experience. Her knowledge and personality really enhanced our experience! There is so much to take in and see! Great place for all ages. I would return and highly recommend.

Cannot wait for the actual museum to be completed. This one was very small in nature with all original artifacts and the other buildings were closes so not much to see but structure is original Palm Springs style and very nice to look at. I also appreciated the walk of stars in front.

Pretty much just plaques on the wall in a large room. Go to the art museum if you want to see what they made.
