My wife found a bunch of great seashells by the seashore and the sand was relatively clean aside from more seaweed...less seaweed than Matanzas Beach but lots more people. Mostly surfers and fishing visitors at this beach. We were planning to go to the restrooms, but they smelled worse than the seaweed, so we will just wait til we get to a rest stop. Great for walking and has a wheelchair / stroller friendly boardwalk.

I parked at Marineland and hung out at the beach for a while. It was a perfect Thanksgiving morning. Theres never a lot of people on this beach. Great place.

This is one of my favorite beach. They have some rock and you can walk around. It’s pretty cool and different from rest of beaches around here. Loved it !

Even though it is small...good location for picnic, walking(short boardwalk), couple of places to sit, nice beach, historical grounds. Very small.

Nice parking area and restroom facilities with easy beach access. The piles of large rocks are a great addition to the beachscape.

Beautiful beach and park highly recommend. Best rocks to view are directly across from River to Sea Campground not off the Boardwalk further north. For best rock and beach views follow the path to the beach across the street from the campground

Love this spot: its never too crowded, a nice long stretch of beach, and the jetties are fun to explore. Quiet and clean; makes for a perfect family beach spot.

Its so beautiful and its where you can have a nice picnic or just sit and enjoy the breeze and listen to the ocean.

Pre-hurricane Irma drive-by. Whilst evacuating Irma we did a quick pit stop here. Would have liked to spend some time here exploring. I wonder how it fared in the storm.

On our favorite section of the beach, the north end, there was one other couple in sight. A few more people showed up but mostly it was just beautiful empty beach.

Quiet Great Beach ️

Oh my gawd me and Margaret had a fantastic time in the Florida. This beach was as beautiful as NYC pizza which happens to be the best kind. Oh how wonderful the salt reminded me of the kosher salt from my child hood.

Nice beach to take the family. Restroom facilities and outside showers available. A short boardwalk and overlook. This was at spring break for the locals yet not extremely crowded.

What a stunning dog friendly beach! Free parking and access to miles of prestine beaches where dogs are welcome (as long as they are kept on a leash). If you visit, please make sure you are a responsible pet owner and you clean up after your dog, we would hate this privilege to be taken away. Will definitely visit here again!

Good place to go, never over crowded. Just dont swim by the rocks.

I was blown away by how beautiful this beach was. There are tons of shells and incredible rock outcroppings that line the beach to the south portion of the preserve.Although we didnt find any huge shells, if you have a keen eye there is a much wider variety of smaller shells that get stuck in the rocky portions of the shores. There are tide pools abound as well as sandbars! We even saw a starfish while we were there, along with numerous conches, barnacles, tadpoles, and more. Climbing out on the rocks feels like a fairytale with the ocean lapping at your feet.Even if you arent the adventurous type, there is plenty of soft sand to kick back and relax in. I cant recommend this beach enough!

Easy access to the beach from the parking lot. Bathrooms and rinse off showers. Would say more parking than makes sense for the area of usable beach (rocks by the waters edge in some areas). No problem if willing to walk a bit.

One of the nicest beaches in the area safe for children and good for fishing. If you are really lucky you may see a rehabilitated turtle being returned to their home in the ocean like Mars here

I love stopping at this beach to let my dog get out and stretch. When we drive down from South Carolina to Orlando Florida we get off 95 St Augustine and drive 1a all the way down to Daytona. No matter how many times you visit each time back the rock formations look different and there are more shells on the beach to find. It Is A Wasteland of washed up shells big and small, but among the crushed there are few worthwhile to find. Its a good place to get lost in thought and away from the tiny glowing screens that control our Lives

The rocks just make this place beautiful and unique. I dont know that I would dare swim here because of that reason but the shelling is great.

Very nice and clean beach with white sand just like west coast beaches. The rocks really added extra beauty to the beach.Enough parking available and its free unlike most of the east coast beaches. Its a hidden gem.

Incredible place for sunrises and early morning photography. Rocky Beach adds a little more diversity to the usual beach scene. Very nice long boardwalk, with beautiful views. Also good parking, and a public restroom.

Beautiful place to stop and rest you butt on a long motorcycle ride to St Augustine from Daytona Beach. Great views and places to catch some shade watch the entrances bikes soft sand could be present stay along the edges until your sure!!

Great place to stop on the Harley and get some cool breeze off the ocean

River to Sea Trail Preserve has an ADA accessible walking trail with excellent parking. The loop is approximately 1.5 miles, with two short additions. You can walk in either direction. It is wide and well marked. Mountain bikers would also enjoy it. It takes you from A1A in Marineland to the Intercostal and back. There was a lovely pavilion, but it was lost in Hurricane Irma in fall, 2017. Also accessible is a narrow path to the ocean at the entrance of River to Sea. While direct and short, it is sandy and not ADA accessible. We often go to this Preserve when it is too windy to walk on the ocean beach

Nice place to visit. This is always our first beach stop when we come in for vacation from Ohio. Three of our four children experienced the beach and ocean for the first time here. Really clean and not packed like some beaches further south.

So beautiful. Saw 21 surfers this Sunday. They have built back up the beach here.

Nice place for an ocean view next to Marineland, has a restroom, and boardwalk. Along with some rocks along the shore making it a bit different than a lot of beaches.

This is a great place to go for a day trip access to the beach Lots of area to walk clean and well kept have only been here midday so I dont know much about other times by the is very few people there during the midday week would definitely recommend

Quiet, peaceful, and rarely ever crowded. Theres even room to park a tractor-trailer for that much needed relaxation on that required 30 minute break.
