Old salt park, or as we call it Hammock Dunes Beach is a clean quiet beach, it is not overcrowded and is well kept and clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there are areas in the water that are very rocky. There are some large rock formations at the main entry to the beach that one of the kids got cut on. I know that’s nature but just a forewarning. Overall a great beach in Florida.

Love variety of shells and also clean water. Not too crowded. Dog friendly.

Good parking, bathrooms. The boardwalk to the beach is nice. There is a sign posted currently that says dogs must be on a leash. There is also a sign prohibiting horseback riding on the beach. The location and people are definitely dog friendly and trash cans are located somewhat conveniently for poop disposal. We took our puppy here to see the ocean for the first time.

Nice clean beach. Free parking and bathroom facilities. There is also a new mat that goes across the dunes entrance that makes it easier to access the beach. For bikes, beach carts, strollers, or limited mobility people or pets that have trouble getting through the sand and closer to the water.

Peaceful, quiet, great place for quiet beach time.

Quiet beach with warm water and lengthy of room to yourself. The sand is white and soft and you can walk foot a while out until the ocean before it gets too deep for you to stand. People seem to mostly stay in front of their resorts so if you walk a little you can have a lot of space for yourself. There are free public bathrooms with a shower and a water fountain near the entrance

Rocks like ive never seen..caution do not get in the water! Drop offs from ankle deep to neck deep! Boulders blend in and are dangerous! Beach is absolutely beautiful! walks along this romantic beach are amazing

Stopped today to take a walk and beach was filthy with seaweed and horse manure. Nice to let people ride along ocean because I know theres nothing like it! But, if we have to pickup our dogs droppings then it should be law to pickup after our horses!!!

We found parking! The beach wasnt overly crowded. There is a shower and restrooms, though not well kept, there are some rocks along the shore. Waves were strong. There was a tent out to teach surfing. Cool. Beach is clean. Cops run along the coast. No seagulls the day I went.

Spectacular Beach! Public access tucked in between the Hammock Beach Resort and its golf course. With plenty of free parking!

We found this park when the beach down the road was closed for repairs. Very nice! Be careful though.....about 30 feet or so out there are rocks!! When the tide is up, you cant see them! So.many people tripping over them. Just keep that in mind. Otherwise, a very nice park to visit.

Very nice beach access. There are restrooms and a shower. Everything is clean and well maintained. Limited parking on crowded days and no lifeguards-swim at your own risk.

This is a great family and dog friendly beach. Weve always have found plenty of parking and there is a place to rinse off by the bathrooms in the parking lot.

Just a small parking lot with beach access. Small beach except at low tide. Bathrooms and an outside shower. Looked a little creepy at first but it has been a family friendly beach. Hidden jem.
