Great place... so much fun. Great design.
One of the most beautiful golf courses you will ever see. Great setting along the ocean and the layout is awesome. Problem is with the grass on the entire course. The grass is extremely thin which makes for tight lies and the dirt beneath is very hard. The ball would bounce and roll and keep rolling. Not a typical soft Florida golf course. The scorecard has the story about how it was rebuilt after Hurricane Mathew. Maybe thats part of the reason. In my opinion its way overpriced for the condition of the course. Oh, and dont wanna forget the $12 hot dogs.
Awesome..the best instructor ever. Todd is patient and so good at explaining it all. So happy to be here. Place is gorgeous and course is unbelieveable!!! A must do againer!!!
Love this course ! It has breathtaking views !
Awesome experience. Excellent course right on the ocean and not too crowded. Loved it!
Every second was a joy . PERFECT CONDITIONS@ HAPPY STAFF. FIRT CLASS
I work there and I enjoy how much the people that golf there says they really like the course.
As far as the course goes, exceptional. The staff for the most part was super friendly. The greens run a touch slower then they look and just a touch firmer then they look. But not a complaint about the course what so ever.Highly recommend this course if you get the chance. No doubt. The only thing that was a bummer was the Marshall on the turn.On our digital cart, we were 3 min behind schedule. We played the front nine in under 2 hours. Just a shade under. Now before you think I’m talking out of my butt. I am a very quick player. And the 3 other guys I joined were not slow at all. I know pace of play and I am aware of it.The group behind us were just getting to teeing off the 9th hole as we were hiking out on the 9th green. As I approached 10 tee box. The Marshall told me to keep up the pace. I told him ‘we were fine and the group behind us was a hole behind us’. Then he popped off at me.So it made our group rush for a couple holes. Not a fun feeling. We finished in about 3:45-3:50. And we’re ahead of the other group by a hole to a hole and a half. This is a resort course. Let us let that feeling of a nice course sink in. Please. Not very happy about the old Marshall who has no idea what pace of play is in California or other populated areas. Bet he would lose his mind at Sawgrass. Haha. But other then that.... had a great time. Really fun and judging the wind was a task, but a fun one at that.Have fun and enjoy it. Don’t let pave of play ruin it for ya.It’s almost like they want you a hole ahead or more so the groups can get pictures without you 400 yds away. Lol
Excellent design. Beautiful views of the ocean. Very fair for average golfers and still a challenge for better golfers.
Spectacular scenery, excellent conditions, fantastic layout. Very tough around the greens. A must-play if in the area.
True to its name, the top-quality Ocean Course at Hammock Beach provides you with six oceanside holes to enjoy. When you are not facing out to sea, this demanding Jack Nicklaus signature design still retains something of an open, seaside golf feel, with generally good-width fairways, some pleasant though not tiring elevation changes. The wonderfully scenic final four holes, set against lakeside and oceanside scenery, are collectively known as the Bear Claw, and more than capable of mauling the best of scorecards.
Beautiful resort course, right on the ocean. Unfortunately the greens fees can be steep.
Dry hard and fast. Best course on the Eaat Coast
