Great place wish there was more shade out by the fishing spots but still an awesome park

Fishing pier is terribly too high and even with a long handle net youre not going to be able to not any kind of big fish. I dont know if the fishing pier or the 9 mile per hour speed limit is more ridiculous

We have the best Metroparks in the country! This pier just recently opened, and I couldnt be happier. The view is breathtaking, especially for sunsets. Plenty of benches or tables to sit and have a picnic or just relax. Lots of room for fishing off the pier, as well as well lit paths for a nice walk. Nice job Metroparks!!

A nice little park with a handicap accessible ramp that takes you down to the pier for sunsets over the lake and fishing. On the pier you will find plenty of benches for seating.

Oh how beautiful is this park unfortunately due to cove in 19 he actual playground part for children is still tied off however you can still walk around You can still get onto the pier and feel like youre in the middle of the ocean. My aunt got engaged here just to show you how beautiful this place really is.

Quite. Clean. Beautiful. Although it is a bit out of the way, I do not mind driving to visit; anytime I need me time and or a minute to breath.

Fun little playground, lots of open fields for soccer and baseball but my favorite part is the pier !Warning quite a few steps to get down to the pier but also a nice ramp for wheelchairs and such

This is a nice park, but if you like to be in a place where other people wear masks, this is definitely not your happy place.

This park is smaller, meaning no swing sets or play areas for kids. But, it was a beautiful view as soon as you get out of the car. The water almost replicates the ocean. So pretty! There were a lot of people fishing the pier, making it impossible to get pictures of my kids without people or rods in the background. The hill of wild flowers is so pretty. We didnt walk the path, but its very nicely made. They have many steps leading down to the pier, and also a wheel chair ramp.

Beautiful place, loved the dock over the lake as my kids were able to look out and not worry about them falling in.

This is a park right on the south shore of lake Erie. Great place to watch a little league ball game. Theres ample parking all the way around the ball fields that are. It also has a great area to walk along the lake and watch great sunset. They have a nice Pier for fishing.

A gorgeous, clean, and well appointed park on Lake Erie. This isnt a wilderness experience, but its an incredible community park with awesome lakefront amenities.

I love this park. Its fun to walk down to the pier to enjoy watching the boats and people fishing. Also there is a playground for the little ones, or its fun to watch all the ballgames going on. You can take line dancing lessons in the ballroom, or throw a wedding reception. Nice and clean restrooms, grounds are great. Dogs ok on a leash with cleanup supplies provided. Lots of benches and picnic tables, too.

Perfect place to see sunsets. You have access to running water and flush toilets.

Very nice place by the lake. Unfortunately, fishermen take up a lot of the pier and benches so it is hard to actually sit and enjoy the scenery. Otherwise 5 stars.

We had my daughters reception at this venue July 27th 2019. It was absolutely wonderful working with the staff and the venue was just amazing! Absolutely beautiful view the pier is amazing! Our guests had so much fun!

This park is great for fishing! My fiancé loves to fish here and I think its a beautiful place to just relax. The only issue is if you are handicapped, it may be difficult for you to get down to the peer. While there is a ramp, its more of a path to stroll and doesnt get you down to the peer quickly. Other than that it is family friendly and has a nice playground.

What a great place to view Lake Erie! There are benches and a picnic table to enjoy. Also, fishing is allowed off the pier. It is handicapped accessible. There is a very long ramp to get to the bottom. Or you can walk down about 80 steps to the pier. Either way, its a long way back up!

Finally got down here to visit. Nice pier. Good workout to run up and down the stairs.

Fishing here is usually way overcrowded, rude folk who do not even acknowledge the fisherman. Not even eye contact is made, especially while the fisherman casts his line, the family will just be there for family day, oblivious to the dangers of the hook on a line, sometimes multiple on a lure; they will just ignore you and hang out behind you snapping their pictures for Facebook or what have you...good luck fishermen at P. T. P.!

We were at the indoor structure for a wedding, and it was beautiful! The park itself is stunning at sunset.

I have lived in Painesville Township Park for over a year and a half. I Love living right next to the park. Looking out at the water everyday is so beautiful. Some rough people can love around, but my area is pretty safe. Park is good for sports, looking at brand new pier, fishing, snack bar during game seasons, pretty clean restrooms and lots of places to grill out with the family. With the new park it has brought alive the park, gets super busy game seasons and I highly recommend checking it out! Their new pier is absolutely beautiful and great to take a little walk on. It is also wheelchair accessible!! Great for all ages ! Theirs also an outdor playground located right next to restrooms, so great for little kids! Also the community center is located their.

Really beautiful lakeside park with new walk out dock.We were there for baseball, nice new fields, plants everywhere, good design. Friendly concession worker but advertised hot dogs walking tacos hot pretzels...only candy& pop MANY games going on but other than that... wonderful.

I attend the Chardon Youth for Christ tea here every year. There are amazing gift baskets to bid on, wonderful cookies, lunch and an assortment of year. The childrens testimonies really hit your heart ad to why attending is so important.

Best place in Cleveland to have a wedding reception! Staff friendly, location will maintained and beautiful. Got compliments on our reception all night. Great value.

The newer pier is amazing the club house there that was rented was for a family reunion/50 anniversary party was huge. Plenty of room for any kind of event. The best part was it had AC.

Little hard to find as the GPS drops you in the middle of the road. You have to go down the street and it is a nice baseball field with a hall and the view of the lake is beautiful.

Yes, go there! You can see the beautiful new 200 foot Pier that stretches out into Lake Erie. Its all totally wheel chair accessible, right onto the pier, too. I could spend hours there, so relaxing! Fun for all ages and open for fishing after hours!
