Ridiculously awesome bridge. Ridiculously narrow, makes for an interesting drive every time. The worst part is right before you get on the bridge headed south out of Illinois, there is a 45 degree turn that you had better be careful on, or you will loose a mirror.

If you ever asked what is the scariest bridge over the Ohio River, try this one. First off this bridge is really narrow and also it’s over a big part of the Ohio River. I’ve never been on this bridge but I hope I never will. Some people even say it’s scarier than the Chesapeake Bay bridge. Also the speed limit on here is only 25 mph, like at least make 40 mph. Overall I hope I never go on this bridge

I just took this bridge today (7/13/20), unaware of its design and structure. As others have said, if youre looking for a thrill take this bridge. If bridges are not your thing, the narrowness, see through road, and constant pull of your cars wheels leaves you sweating in terror for several minutes (JUST DONT)!

Love this bridge. It might even be in better shape than the I 24 bridge....I remember it having cracks in it in the late 70s.

Old bridge, a bit narrow, but just refurbished. Wonderful view and perfectly safe, just make sure you stick to the speed limit and obey the width restriction, otherwise you might get yourself a private appointment with a state trooper. Sure beats trying to swim across.

This bridge is sturdy and reliable. It makes me super nervous to drive across though. It has holes in the bottom that you can fit a Coke can through. This makes your tires pull the slower you go. It is not super wide. I always feel like I am either going to scrape the right side of my vehicle or knock someone elses mirror or my own off. I know these are unrealistic thoughts as I have driven this bridge for years without any problems. Yet I still have this feeling every time LoL.

This bridge scared me to death driving over it! There is no solid flooring, only see through metal grates. Its a very skinny two lane bridge. The grate flooring made my car feel hard to control. Forget paying money to ride a rollercoaster. You can get your adrenaline rush for free driving over this bridge!

Low clearance, narrow width. Wasnt marked until a few hundred yards before it coming from the south....not passable for motorhomes.
