One if the great best kept secrets of Ventura County. I have been several times and the Bugatti show is my favorite along wuth the permanent show of deco furniture and decorative items. Beautiful, large museums with an impressive collection. A must do experience for anyone who appreciates fine art and of course any auto buff!
Stunning, gorgeous collection celebrating the beauty of the French automobile. Save this museum for last. Its beautiful! The collection is also surprisingly large. Though the admission is $40, it includes a semiprivate tour, and is very much worth it!The docents were extremely knowledgeable and gave us a lot of very interesting information. They were able to answer some pretty obscure questions with very competent knowledge. The only other museum I saw that can compare was a private collection thats not available to the general public. If you enjoy art and beauty, it doesnt get any better than this!
Absolutely fantastic collection with knowledgeable docents. They specialize in French cars from the 20s and 30s, but even if you dont think thats your thing, its well worth the visit. If youre a car person at all, you should enjoy this museum. The price of entry is an amazing bargain for whats inside. The enthusiasm for the history of the display items is evident in everyone that works there. It is particularly enjoyable if you are a fan of Citroen and/or Bugatti.
I highly recommend this museum if you are a car buff. The collection of French cars from the 20s 30s, 40s is unbelievable. Most of these cars are beautifully restored. Some are rare, one of a kind. The tour guides are exceptionally knowledgeable. You can also browse through beautiful art deco pieces. Not to be missed.
The museum was better than I thought. The gentlemen that guided us through the automobiles were every informative. A great we all had. John
Absolutely the greatest vintage French collector cars in the USA, bar none! An honor & privalege,...thank you,.. Peter Mullin.
Amazing collection. Docents are very knowledgeable
Great place to check out awesome cars! very knowledgeable staff.
Fantastic Citröen exhibit in 2018
Some of the best of automotive art and design
Ideal auto museum for classic French cars like the Bugatti.
The Mullin is a must see for car buffs! The collection is mostly 20s and 30s era French cars, but will also include later era French vehicles as well. Only open on two Saturdays a month to the general public, its worth putting a visit on your schedule. Do take the very extensive free tour. They happen at 10:30 and 12. There are no ropes so you can get up close to some of the rarest, most expensive cars in the world! Amazing!
The cars are like works of art! Collection strictly of French cars. Pay for the semi guided tour - worth the money. I have since seen Jay Leno review one of the famous cars here. Every car here has a story. My guide was extremely knowledgeable.
Stopped by with the kids on our way back home from a holiday vacation. Looks awesome but was not open to the public this day. Private showing is $55 per person. Public price in January is $18 for adults and free for active military.
The Mullin Automotive Museum houses one of the finest collections of French cars in the world and is a tribute to French automotive styling and the decorative arts that influenced the genre. They also host private events, like galas and weddings. Stunning venue!
Absolutely fantastic collection with knowledgeable docents.
Must see! Beautiful collection
Lots of rare French cars
Great exhibits of wonderfully spectacular cars. A great place to visits. So many historic cars in really great shape. We have come here a couple of times on our own and a couple of times we have brought large groups of people. After my last visit I think Im not coming back for a while. Its not close to us at all, its a pretty long drive, however, I really like supporting museums and introducing people to them.We brought a large group of people with us to show them the museum. I was stopped because I had a gopro with a hand grip and a wrist strap. The guest services lady told me that there were no tripods allowed, i kept trying to explain to her that its not a tripod and it just got really awkward. After all the awkwardness...I just decided to put the handgrip away and they agreed i could carry my gopro around and video. At that point I was pretty much in disbelief that they would go so far, carrying it in this way was a lot less stable. In the end I was just trying to document our trip and promote their museum.
Awesome experience, Danny was such a wonderful tour guide.
A great place staffed by wonderful, expert people. Some of the most fantastic cars ever made. I learned so much while I was here. Ill be back again and again. One of the best car museums in the world. Come see for yourself!
Wow ! Beautiful FRENCH cars !Go !
I look in but i need to buy a ticket but 16 Dollars is kind high to me .
I first heard about the 2017/18 Citroen exhibition, “Citroen: The Man, The Marque, The Mystique”, in 2016 when visiting the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard with Jerry Hathaway of SM World. As a classic car enthusiast, Citroen SM and DS owner, the news of the Mullin Citroen exhibit was the initiator for another USA visit, this time to coincide with the Monterey Motor Weekend 2017.Fast-forward to August, a car buddy and fellow SM owner from OZ travelled to LA to attend the Mullin Citroen exhibit, along with Jerry Hathaway. Collated by Mr Peter Mullin, the Mullin Citroen Exhibit was in one word spectacular. The quality of the Citroen’s restorations, the exhibition design/lay-out and the museums friendly and knowledgeable staff, all made for a wonderful experience. The exhibit included five Henri Chapron creations, a number of SMs, Ds, Tractions and many more. Also on the display are the five unrestored Schlumpf Bugatti’s, a collection of wonderful Art deco figurines, the fascinating “Lake Maggiore Bugatti” and two spectacular 1930’s Delahay V12 race cars, one with a magnificent Henri Chapron 40’s carroserie. The visit to the Mullin Citroen exhibit totally exceeded my expectations, well worth the 14hr flight, an exhibition I can highly recommend to any classic car enthusiast.Lee, Melbourne, Australia.Date:5th Sept 2017
Fantastic! Must see it

A special treat to visit this museum that preserves some of the most beautiful cars ever produced. It is worth the efforts to schedule a trip to Oxnard, the museum is only open on occasional dates. Real wow factor present upon seeing these masterpieces of design and function.
Beautiful cars, knowledgeable staff
An absolutely incredible display of breath taking cars! Thank you Mr. Mullin for allowing us to view part of your magnificent collection!
The docents are passionate and well educated about the cars, their histories and the history of the family who owns the museum and the Citroën history. Guided tour is a must and youll not be disappointed, even if you arent a big fan cars.
Unique & a great place to see valuable automobiles.
A very nice museum, a little hard to find. Great history of the Citroën auto. Could use a few more places to sit.
Always an exceptional treat!!!
Brought some relatives here who love old and fancy cars. They really enjoyed themselves. Lots of variety, and some real beauties.
This is a first class museum! We went because they are hosting a Citroën exhibit. This exhibit is wonderful and they have well informed staff present.
Amazing collection! Incredibly well maintained and displayed!
This place is o.k. They have vintage cars. If you are a fanatic of cars you will probably like it. It missing that wow factor for me. It has potential. If you are the curious type that likes to know who is doing what and how then visit, but as far as destinations are concerned The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is a better bet for your attention span and dollars.
This museum is fantastic. The cars in display are works of art! The tour guides are very knowledgeable and truly enjoy sharing the history of these car. A must visit if you are in the area.
This museum is a little gem in our own backyard. Sort of like a mini Peterson.

If you like Citroën automobiles you will enjoy this museum.
Beautiful Bugattis, a lot of attention to details to recreate the Paris from 1935 vibes, really nice and helpful staff
