Huge wooden play sets. Hours of fun. Excellently designed and crafted. Rubber chips instead of wood chips on the ground. Impressive layout and structures.

Great family park. There are two areas to park. There is a walking trail around the area. Baseball field and batting net. Two large play ground areas, one is for children under 6 and the other for children 6-12. Covered area for parties and get togethers.

Great little disc golf course...great to teach kids how to play

12 year old enjoyed walking dogs around the trail and checking out the fort. Great place to allow children to obtain natural vitamin D and fresh air.

The small children side is lacking a little and needs some improvement, but its otherwise a very nice and beautiful park.

This place has been a lifelong staple to my life. Its a wonderful place to bring your kids with an amazing playground! I remember helping build the playground while I was in high school! Its a great place for a walk, ultimate Frisbee, picnics, birthday parties at the pavilion, tennis, baseball & softball, etc. Good family fun!

Well I hope they have clean the park of any insects like wasp because a few months before this pandemic i took my kids to here and a wasp stung my son in the eye and I had to take him to the hospital it was that bad. But I wont take my kids there until they fix this

This disc golf park is gorgeous, it’s a great starting place for beginners, or if you just want to go on Ace runs and have fun. It has two huge fields for soccer, football, or baseball. There is also a picnic area with a playground set for the children.

I used to come here as a child. Now I bring my child here so she can have fun. Its clean and well maintained.

Love the miniature oxford square! Some of the playground equipment is well loved, a little worn, and the slides get very hot because they are in direct sunlight. But it is a wonderful place for kids to play and the playgrounds are fenced in with one entrance and exit.

Best park in town!

A fantastic park for everyone! The playground is great for children of all ages, and the rest of the park has many amenities for a number of activities. Whether a picnic, a short playground stop, or to propose to your fiance (!), this is a great park for any occasion.

A great place to take your children and hang out especially if youre a Pokemon fan, there are at least 10 pokestops in this area alone. It is also pet friendly as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them all around I highly recommend it for a family to spend time together.

Nice playground for the kids. Neat sitting area with a pavilion type covering. Dog walking is permitted with a leash. Clean restrooms as well. Overall great visit. Beautiful place.

I grew up in Oxford, even took part in building it while I attended Oxford Elementary school. I will always love this park and it is really great for those who play Pokemon Go. #teamvalor My son loves to play here and enjoys the swings most and the freedom to run around.

My kids love this park. The playground is like a high treehouse. It’s normally pretty clean and safe. I have found some damaged equipment in the past but once notified, OPC was quick to respond. Great choose for parents with kids under 10.

Avent Park is a moderately sized park in Oxford, MS. It features play grounds, a pavilion, baseball field, walking trains, open field, and tennis courts. One of the biggest draws of this park is its large castle-style wooden playgrounds for children of all ages. The park has bathrooms located near the playground that are always kept clean. Tennis courts are open until late at night.

This place is pretty cool. Theres never many people there so its great if you dont like crowds. Awesome playground for kids. I remember playing the crap outta that playground when I was coming up

This is one of my favorite parks of all time. Its got a castle wooden structure that my kids and i can spend hours playing hide and seek in. there are some great small bike trails for beginning training on the bike. There is a cute little off trail that leads to a butterfly garden. My kids think this place is full of magic! I will always love the joy that we have had here!

This is usually a quiet place. There is plenty is shade to park in and a nice walking trail.

Few public playgrounds are as wonderful for kids (up to about 12 years old).

Not quite as awesome as I remember when I was a kid, but thats probably because I cant enjoy the kid stuff anymore. Its a great casual walkabouts and a good place to take kids and doggos.

Among the best community parks for a city this size visitors say they have ever seen. Diverse equipment, good maintainance, well-used space, its fun from the moment you can crawl through the last day you can walk unassisted.
