Nice place...just dont go looking for vending machines lol. Not tha th you wont find them, but you will be led only to your greatest disappointment. Where there should be a plethora of sweet delicious, and some stale hang arounds that never got rotated out. There you will find only a lot of vacant rows and all thats there are the hang arounds that have past their prime.

Tonights show was in Polsky Theater. The Matt Otto Quintet. It was was wonderful jazz show, which are how all the shows Ive been to at this venue. The parking is plentiful and free. The entrance is easy to see from the parking lot and adjoining room. Acoustics are well balanced in the theater/venue and seats are comfortable.

This is a great auditorium! It has great views of the stage from nearly every seat. Plus I enjoy the wider seats - so you have some extra elbow room and so you wont feel like youre packed in there like sardines!

Had a great experience here attending a Jazz concert in honor of Dexter Gordon. They had wine available for purchase that came with a lid!

Great Japanese Cultural Festival.

We are new to the area, so we were surprised to find such an amazing facility at a community college. There are a set of auditoriums, a very interesting and varied set of musicians and theater programs, as well as a nice contemporary art museum next door. One of the best surprises of Johnson County, Kansas!

Epic theatre with not a bad seat in the house. Check out their variety of shows and coffee shop! Support a local community college too!

The front office attends to questions appropriately. The cafe serves snacks any time of the day. Lastly but not the least I do wait for my shuttle at the center.

I saw Colin Mockary & Brian Sherwood here and it was incredible. Great intimate venue and had great production value.

This is an impressive campus. I attended the Carlsen Center to watch a quartet recital of Beethoven. It was nicely done and recorder for radio.

Saw the KC Dance Festival for the first time. Words cannot describe how beautiful & moving the performance was. A must see for yourself!! One can tell the dedication, passion & sacrifice that the performers & all those that help facilitate such an event truly invest!

Enjoyed the JCCC facilities during the Thespian conference. Very nice security officer escorted us to registration table and we had a good day. Clean and excellent theatre and classrooms too!

Ive only actually been to the theater once and the performance was good and entertaining. Aside from that, the school itself is amazing. I attend here regularly and I can honestly say that Ive been blown away time and again by the passion and dedication that the teachers here show.

I have been attending events here for 15 years & they never disappoint!

The acts they feature are excellent and appeal to many people. The venue is attractive and comfortable.

This is a nice building on a beautiful campus with info racks and arts displayed throughout the hallways. I was impressed with the brick bas reliefs imprinted onto the larger brick wall; its something Ive not seen on other college/university campuses or art museums. I came here for a training. The front desk students are polite, friendly, and helpful. Thanks for making my first time here a welcoming one.

Beautiful architecture rendering serenity and calming influence. They have an art gallery, a beautiful auditorium and seating area with really comfortable chairs.

This is one of our favorite venues to see a show. Great people and great variety.

Marilyn Maye and the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra. Nothing more to say. Perfection. The facility is great, the acoustics were spot on. Marilyn Maye and the KCJO are always fantastic - and did not disappoint. Id go back to a show at the Carlsen - even if I wasnt familiar with the artist.

Attended Japan festival here. Very cool building. Beautiful art inside and out and its far from boring architecture. In here you can find an auditorium and many floors and and ither areas. Might make you switch or go back to school just from seeing what a chill atmosphere it is.

Nice place. A little cramped for a large man but most seating anywhere is. Great sound wherever you sit. Classy.

It was quite fun, the tour guides were really respectful and attentive which is a good thing plus the food was by far really good

Nice venue. Seats are comfortable. Sound is good. Employees are nice. Good value with reasonably priced tickets.

This is an awesome venue for live shows. The center is small enough that there really isnt a bad seat in the place. Also, when buying tickets online, there are no hidden fees or surcharges.

Visited here to see wonderful dance performances as part of Arts Alive event. Good parking & accessibility. Great venue.

Marilyns performance was perfection. (But once again, I had to protect my ears because of sound amplification, despite being seated in DD at back of theatre.)

Was a guest at the dental hygienist pinning ceremony. Very impressed with the facility.

I have seen a few productions here, in the yardley theater, over the last couple of years and am always pleased and impressed with the quality of the performances. If you are thinking of attending one of the many fabulous performing arts shows it’s well worth it. This is a great theater for intimate performances and a lot of bang for the buck. Parking is always easy and getting in out is easy as well. This is a gem located on the JCCC campus.

Way more than you would expect from a community college. Great place with great shows.

Excellent facility with three theatres. Professioal, rental and student shows. Tickets available online via the jccc performing arts website or at the box office. Parking lots nearby. Concessions are available at many shows. Dinner is available before some of the larger Yardley hall performances.

Beautiful building and a great asset to JCCC. The theaters accommodate many different venues and the lobby space is interesting with Kansas images sculpted right into the brick.
