We have been doing business with Traditions for years. We recently bought a couch and at the time of purchase we asked if it would be delivered? I was told yes understanding there would be an additional cost. In the past very piece we have bought from Traditions was delivered to our home. We received the call the couch had arrived and to pick it up. I called and asked about delivery and was told we do not deliver but here are some names YOU can coordinate with to have it delivered. You lost a customer after this transaction is completed. Update: We were called by Traditions staff and they worked with us to fix the situation. Appreciate the fact that they corrected the problem.

Very expensive furniture, which is fine - we didnt know until we walked in. It seems like good quality though. However nobody with the staff spoke to us at all. Apparently we didnt look like we had enough money to be worth interacting with. So unless you look like a million bucks dont go here.

Great selection of unique furniture! Historic building with a small museum along one of the walls.

A hidden gem in Downtown Overland Park. Selling heirloom quality furniture (at corresponding prices), they offer excellent service, great selection and an historical location. The building used to be the old Strang streetcar barn and they have a wall of photos and memorabilia about the old streetcar line. Worth a visit to check out the history and the amazing furniture.

Very nice furniture very pricey though

Beautiful interior with a large emphasis on the history of the building and its relevance to the history of Overland Park as a city. The furniture is all very, very nice, but most of it is beyond my price range.

Love this store and the people, especially Carol and Alex. They are both so fum and helpful. Definitely visit them!

Stopped in on a trip to KC; the building itself is so inviting; we found a lamp that we had to buy for our bedroom; the furniture is top quality and everyone there is so welcoming and helpful; and parking is easy which is a big plus.

We missed Alex, but bought a couch and recliner anyway?
