Pretty clean. But the glitter.. Yeah thats never getting out. Excellent store. Up to date stock. A clearance section that just does not quit. And wonderful customer service. 10/10 will cruise again.

Great customer service the employees are very friendly and helpful I was only shopping but I cant wait to buy my new pair of running shoes . I must admit the quality even with higher end higher priced shoes seems to be reduced.. even the $70 shoes they sell for running seem to be made of the same artificial plasticy shoe they sell at Walmart very disappointed with the fact that everybody in the corporate world is so greedy they want to sell a cheap product and get as much money out of us as they possibly can very disappointed.

Loved that its open on Sunday! Staff are really nice and helpful. The store seemed a little all over the place. Had to keep going from one side to the next to find what I needed. Parking was easy, great sales and coupons, checkout was really fast. My only issue is that I wish they had more variety. Went there looking for numismatic supply and was surprised that they didnt carry any.

This location is well organized and clean. I found everything I needed for my project very quickly so I was in and out in 10 minutes!P.s. The rewards program is definitely worth it for the coupons you get.

Usually dont have a problem, but today was disappointing. Carissa was the one helping me I asked her where gold leafing was she didnt know asked and said it was somewhere around here. Very unprofessional and wasnt very friendly while she checked me out. The shelves were pretty empty as well.

Maybe today is the one bad day for these workers, but theyre rude and dismissive.I needed help with a fountain. Since I didnt find any workers in the store, I went up to the register to ask the girl if she could call someone to help me with a fountain. She said, someone would be along to help. But she did not walkie anyone to help me. Just kept looking blank and miserable to be there. Like three minutes later a male associate hops on a register and I ask him if he could get someone to help me. His reply was, were all busy.So I walked off because obviously management cannot be bothered to schedule an adequate amount of people to run the store.Ive worked retail, so I understand WHY the associates would be in a bad mood today.Dealing with poor management and being over worked really really sucks. But Ive never been so unfriendly and dismissive to my customers like these workers were today. And Im really annoyed by how they acted, so I will not return.

Although the employees are polite, there is no motivation to do more than the minimum. I don’t enjoy the time I have to go to this store location

Michaels was great, found what I needed and was out in no time at all.

Its a pretty good craft store. My son had a project for his 4th grade history class art project and we found everything he needed for it. This specific location has nice parking and is close to other big stores. It is a nice big store with lots of inventory for arts and crafts projects.

They have LGBTQIA+ stuff and cosplay stuff it is my new stop for cosplay needs!

I found everything I was looking for, they always have coupons on their website. As well as this location was taking preventative precautions during the pandemic and continues to as well!

They always have great deals and coupons. They have a great selection of products. My only critique would be that it seems like the organization is a little off. You may have to check a couple different sections to find what youre looking for.

Im a connoisseur of all things crafty. That being said, their selection of craft materials isnt nearly the caliber of Hobby Lobby or Joann Etc. However, they do have one area in which they excel; organization options. If what you seek is along those lines, Michaels is the place for you.

Never have what I need and staff is not caring

So I called the store at Overland park at was placed on hold for 10 minutes. The lady never came back to the line. I decided to call back. They answered the line and as I said hello you placed me on hold, they decided to hang up on me again. I called a third time. Told the lady. No apology. Just asked how what are you looking for? I dont think they even rate 1 star honestly.

My husband and I went in together. I go to the beads and make a quick glance thru because I have had some major medical problems and since you do not offer a manual or electric wheelchair I have to find what I need and go to car. My husband knows if I dont find something he will go ahead and try to find it for me. He checks out at register for me. We are going to other craft stores cause they all have manual or electric wheelchairs. I hate this cause I have always liked Michaels

My go-to for all my crafting needs! Most recently it has been my go-to for silk flowers. I have become the family cemetery flower arrangement designer! Most people ask me why do I take flowers to cemetery because my loved ones arent there? My answer is they might not, but I feel like they know I took the time to bring something special! And Michaels is my one stop shop! And the new Overland Park store across Quivira from Oak Park Mall is FABULOUS! Beautuful store!

I always find what Im looking for here, and its my go-to for their faux flower selection.

Its a Michaels. Midsized, Id say. It helps to look for sales and coupons because certain items can be pricey compared to online sources. But I go to Michaels for instant gratification. They are better for general craft supplies, with a more limited fine art selection (but good for the casual or hobby artist, and great for kids). They have yarns and embroidery flosses, but no fabric section. I shop there often mainly because they do bring in new items often, and they do carry a few brands of pens, markers, and pencils as open stock items. If I just need another white or gold gel pen or a red Prismacolor pencil, its easier to drop in and buy the one pen than having to wait to put in a bigger order to avoid paying a huge shipping charge on a $2 item. It doesnt hurt to go to different Michaels locations since Ive noticed that stock does vary a bit from store to store.

Interesting place! All kinds of crafts that I didnt know existed. They need to simplify their couponing methods; too many and many do not work on every day value items. Pleasant people, though.

I went in the store with my daughter to get supplies for tshirts. One worker was so fantastic helping us out and taking us to the products we were looking for. We noticed in the tshirts there were no large pinks in either colors (there were two different pinks) but I noticed above the tshirts there were boxes with tshirts stacked two on top of each other going across the entire shelves. I went to ask if there were pink ones in the box, the associate, Dena, looked in the same area as I did and when finished she told us they were out, she guessed. I then asked about the boxes on top, she gave me a crazy answer which was that they had other sizes of tshirts in them and walked away. My question is how is it that she figured a pink wasnt in there. My son in law offered to take them down for me to look through, I told him no, she didnt want to do her job and look, then he shouldnt either.

Well organised and well stocked. Obviously crafty holidays can clear a couple of things but the friendly staff will tell you when the trucks may be coming in. They also remember frequent customers’ names which always is welcoming. They have great deals and coupons are constantly in circulation.

Great store for casual hobbyist. If you are looking for anything very specific, I would try a specialty store. Michaels tries to have a very broad range of goods, which can make it difficult to have a very good selection of any one category. Otherwise, great atmosphere and a diverse range of products.
