Nice landing with a few portable outhouses. Good spot to swim and launch a boat at. Well kept up and clean.

It needs a couple of picnic tables but other than that its great Good view grassy area to play around in, has a boat launch requires a parking permit which is free that you can get that online

Got there and couldnt park every single parking space is marked resident permit parking and, no there were no spots streetside signs there all said no parking. Took a chance and parked. If you are going here you most likely want water shoes rocks in water are sharp. The place is clean and pretty though.

Love this little area. We like to take our dog it on the ice to run around! We just walked the little walking trail (~ 1/2 mile loop) for the first time in the snow. Great way to get some exercise away from other visitors on the lake, especially in Winter months! We recently moved here, so the picnic area will be nice to use in the summer months!

Absolutley disappointed! The nerve they have to post signs up to have to PAY to use this not so great facility! Talk about taking advantage of the COVID pandemic!. They pay a security person to limit and charge who comes and goes! I think its insane how you are ripping people off to enjoy what we can! Like I said, its not such a great place and I will go elsewhere to find my paddling enjoyment!

Beautiful landing with a nice place to swim and a great view.

Its shallow for a good bit so its great for little kids. Its mostly clean aside from the unfortunately bandaid that comes with swimming children. There are leaches to one side but in all the times weve gone none of us have had a leach on us I only know this because a kid was playing in the grassy area one time we were there got a few on him. There are TONS of little fish and a few bigger fish swimming around, often people are seen fishing there away from the swimming area of course. Plenty of grassy area for a few small groups or familys to sit and picnic but no tables in the swimming area so bring your own chairs if needed, we just bring a blanket. There is a good amount of space for kids to play in the sand and clay under the sand the kids seem to like. The bugs are not bad at all but there seem to be times that horse flys get active, I may update if I notice any pattern. The low mosquito and black flys may be due to the large amount of dragonflies always flying around.*You do need a permit to park there and to get a permit you need to live in Orono* which I like because it keeps the amount of people down but from an outside perspective that is not ideal.It is patrolled by police officers almost all the time which I also like because the worry of any issues are zero. Ive been there with my kids dozens of times in the past few months and only one time was there not an officer sitting in the parking lot but he showed up just as we were leaving. The down side to this is anyone not from orono or in possession of the permit get told to leave, politely I might add. The last time I saw people told to leave he let them stay a short time to let the kids swim a bit.

I absolutely loved taking my dog walking here. Aside from the local beach on the Southern end of Pushaw Lake, There is also a nice walking trail loop to the East. There are some sitting benches so if you get tired you can take a break and take in the scenery surrounding the lake.

It was nice and quiet. Alot different from Orlando... Will definitely be going back.

Good place to swin and fish

Little small but nice. Mucky once you get out a bit. No dogs on beach area kinda sucks. Gets super busy on hot days and police hang out and direct people for parking and advise you find another place to go when the parking area is full... even if boat trailers are parked sideways across multiple parking spots however, the grassy beach and tepid water do make for a nice place for family outings.

Loved pushaw lake. It is definitely a little gem. The landing was quiet and clean. Super easy to get the boat in and out of the water. I would like to get back here at some point. Just be mindful of all the buoys in the lake and thier meaning. Plenty of places to mar up your craft.

No parking for someone who wants to stop for a minute and take in the view.

Need a resident permit to park here or you can get ticketed by frequently visiting police.

Great way to entertain the kids nice place to swim fish or just talk a walk

Dog friendly park with some rules.No dogs on the sand beach and 8ft leash.Trash cans for puppy bags.Boat launch is great, built well and easy to use for embarking on your day trip and coming ashore.Car parking usually has space but the trailer parking for boat trailers fills up fast. Too fast. Still not the worst ever and the convenience of the location makes up for the inconvenient trailer parking.

I give this place because the water is clear, the people are nice, and its quite. Overall it makes for a good experience.

Ive always enjoyed coming here. There arent a lot of amenities, there is a porta-potty and a small dirt beach. The water is nice and Ive never seen a leach. I wouldnt drive far to go here but its a nice free beach nearby.

Very nice scenic place to chill out and watch people come and go with there boats,canoes and kyacks. Very nice for a barbeque or picnic. Fun place for boating or swimming.

Goulds landing is premier for landing canoes, kayaks; beautiful place for fishing. Please volunteer to pick up trash.

Small Sandy beach located at lake side park. Limited parking, but a great spot for families.

Quiet. Dead end streets both sides of lake so little traffic. Birds swooping down. Guy on lake with haul sled. Nice.

Beautiful lake with nice walking options (path and roads) nearby. Views are lovely and lake is great for canoeing or kayaking.

Nice little boat landing on Pushaw Lake. It has a floating dock & plenty of long parking spaces for your vehicle + trailer. There is small little beach area next to the dock, but it isnt much and this really shouldnt be used as a destination just to go to a beach unless its for a quick swim. Just miniutes from Bangor this is the closest lake swim/boating destination from Bangor. Pushaw is a very shallow lake with depths of only ~25-30 feet so this lake is very warm in the summer and usually freezes completely before any other lake in the area. Im not sure if the fishing is any good, but for a simple afternoon boat or canoe or kayak ride, this is a wonderful convenient destination to do so from Bangor. The area is VERY populated with camps and almost the entire lake is surrounded by either seasonal or year round houses. Very quiet boat landing with no tolerance for alcohol or rowdiness amongst its dwellers. This spot has been open for decades, and will continue to serve the residents of Orono,Hudson,Old Town and Bangor fro decades to come! To the right of the landing is a marshy/ wetland area that serves as an excellent opportunity for bird watchers. There are Canadian geese and Loons aplenty in this area. Wonderful spot made all the better by being close to the city of Bangor.

It was great. Clean well taken care of. But could use more boat trailer parking....

Not enough parking spots to park boat trailers after launching. I got a warning from Orono pd because of it and thankful for just that.

Vehicles with boat trailers take up to much of the parking. Needs a few more picnic tables.

Good swimming and fishing

Sunbathers without boat trailers take up the trailer parking so there is no place to park our boat trailer.

Would be more enjoyable if beach-goers would stay off the dock...or at least share it better when others are taking out or putting in....AND the concrete landing is in desperate need of repair/replacing...trailer wheels struggle climbing the bumpy incline when loaded and pulling out of the lake...parking can be limited on hot/sunny summer days

Extremely easy unloading your boat.

Great for boating, kayaking and a quick dip. Even though this is a family landing you often find out of towners ruining fun by excessive drinking, cursing and acting inappropriate for children in the area..also POOP..clean up your dog poop people...have some.common courtesy.

Very peaceful spot, makes you feel close to God. Often have my own worship here.
